here is the default 3d gallery which loads images seconds !!
Just replace original app file from system/app by thhis apk file(dont forget to change permissions) n feel the difference :angel:
(Just for safety take a backup of original gallary3d.apk file)

FC for me.. and its only 600 kb in size where as the original apk was 2.4 mb..

nothing dear ,just rippd from a frnds galaxy s advance,working fast as hell

I don't know what a hell is done with the original apk but this works perfect for me!
Video playback is a video player work, not 3Dgallery. When you select a video into the 3Dgallery it redirect you to the default video player...

ROM has to be rooted, you must use Root Explorer or any File Explorer with root permissions.

And don't forget to mount system as R/W

I am using NEO v3.0 and 1.8.3 ardatdat kernel,so I guess my phone is already rooted,else I wouldn't even had entered the system folder..and can you tell me th exact procedure to do it properly!!

use root explorer...
then moung R/W,open sdcard or were u ve downloded the file,then back to system then app...
then just paste there and change permissions

or use any other alternatives as root explorer

I am facing problem with the Gallery u provided.. The images and the background too looks with ghost image... Not able to view pics properly... So I tried to copy the original gallery. Apk to system/app, but neither can I install it nor can I see the gallery app on my drawer... Pls help.. And also I've installed chain fire, is that causing problem?

I too had iauess with chainfire 3d!!!
See if it works after uninstalling or just uncheck every settings to none or default one, it'll surely work

Try pushing the stock gallery to /System/app and do a reboot. You will see the gallery app.

I have tried this multiple times and every time it says "not installed" no matter where the apk is located, not even in the proper folder.

you should not install this, you need to place it in /system/apps/ folder using Root Explorer and restart the mobile.....

already tried early in the morning when i saw it on a blog with pushing them via root explorer into system/media and also again to system/app but nothing seems to work! i got an update for album the .20 so it's not working

tried walkman n album normal install could not install.

media apps worked on my Nexus 7 2013 and live wallpaper also without root...
I am not a dev so don't know how to get above apps working on Xperia. Well I have a few more apps from Z2 firmware > SemcCameraUI.apk, SemcEmail.apk, SemcPhone.apk,SomcCameraWidget.apk,SomcLifeLog.apk,SuperVideoCamera.apk,TimeShiftCamera.apk if you need let me know can share that too but no working on rooted as well as un-rooted Z1

Do i have to rename the files or push them directly?

PM the links for all the other things i'm sure that there's a lot of devs here that would love to find a solution and get the system apps working on our lovely Z1 unless if it's only compatible with 4.4.2

You can't use because it's not a deodexed file (just apk). Upload a deodexed file or SemcMusic.odex.

Tried to install on HTC one with sense 4.4.2 ....could not install. Now when I try to install the old version...I can't anymore

Hi guys! I've made a package for our Xperia E!
I put some file to this pack, so that our Xperia E looks like a Sony Xperia Z2 or just to use newer apps.
IMPORTANT!!! IF SOMETHING GOES WRONG I'M NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY DAMAGE!! I will try to help you!
THIS FILES ARE NOT MY WORK!! I JUST COLLECT THEM AND SHARE WIT YOU!
So let's do that:
For first, backup ALL of your data (contacts, messages, apps+data, etc.)
So you need:
Sony Xperia E
Stock Android 4.1.1
11.3.A.2.23 build
Some free time
Now there is part one (preparing):
1) Root your device (I used VROOT)
2) Deodex your rom! Use Universal Deodexer v5 http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2213235
3) Download and install BusyBox! https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=stericson.busybox
4) Download and install Flash Gordon! http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2250555
5) Flash with Flash Gordon the "Z1-BuildEntry_ByPranavPandey.zip"
6) Copy the servcies.jar to /system/framework folder!
Part two (installing the White Setting by dafuc-k):
I tried lot of way to install this mod, but I think this is the safest:
1) For the safety, at first of all, copy for example the SEMCSetupWizard.apk to /system/app , then give the correct permissions [775], reboot your phone!
2) After the reboot check the file! If it installed you can continue the installing, but if it doesn't installed, you can't continues!
3) So if it installed, copy all apks from the WhiteSettings folder to /system/app , then give the correct permissions, reboot!
4) After that, copy the framework files (framework.jar, framework-res.apk) to /system/framework , then give the correct permissions [775] reboot!
5) Now it should work!
Part three (installing the Sony Xperia Z1 home screen):
1) Download and install a launcher from GooglePlay!
2) Copy the Home.apk to /sysem/app, then give the correct permission [644]
3) Copy the text from the buildba.txt file to /system/build.prop !
4) Reboot!
5) If everythig OK, you can delete the launcher which is installed on the first step!
6) Flash the Z1_WIDGETS.zip file!
Part four (installing the Sony Xperia apps):
1) Copy all files to /system/app from the Apps folder , then give the correct permissions [644]!
2) Then reboot!
Part five (installing the Xperia Z2 Sounds):
1) Flash the XperiaZ2hangok.zip
2)Then reboot!
Part six (installing the Z1 phonebook):
1) flash the Z1-Phonebook3_ByPranavPandey.zip
2) Then reboot!
Part seven (installing the 4.4.2 bootanimation):
1) Copy the bootanimation.zip to /system/media , then give the correct permissions [644]!
2) reboot and enjoy!
Part eight (installing the Bravia Engie):
1) Copy the be_movie and the be_album to /system/bin , then give the correct permissions [644]
2) Enter the following text to build.prop :
#BRAVIA_HACK
ro.service.swiqi.supported=true
persist.service.swiqi.enable=1
3)Then Reboot!
That's all!
You can't make hardbrick, just only softbrick, so if your phone does'nt start, just reflash the ROM!

You need a modified services.jar. Also called the "superuser mod". Otherwise the signatures don't match, because of the lower Android version.

The Xperia GO ports, the Xperia Z ports by Rizal Lovins weren't working on our device, even with the SuperUser MOD
PS: Are you testing Termin V3.0? Because i see that you have the dual sim version model of the XE

Yep. Both of the ROMs(single and dual) are 95% finished. I just need to do some testing and trying a few things. V3 will be uploaded tomorrow

Good.......... but does the framework have the Honami transitions & animations? Because this is the only giant difference(there are some really small differences in Walkman and Settings, but i can mod them by myself when i get my new PC) between my Xperia SP and the Xperia E with your ROM

Yes, I put the modified services.jar to the pack "superuser mod"
The animations are maybe still on stock, but the Volume menu is changed!

I just wanted to tips you guys running 4.4.2 kitkat custom DEODEX rom about this.

In Android file system, applications come in packages with the extension .apk. These application packages, or APKs contain certain .odex files whose supposed function is to save space. These odex files are actually collections of parts of an application that are optimized before booting. Doing so speeds up the boot process, as it preloads part of an application. On the other hand, it also makes hacking those applicationsdifficult because a part of the coding has already been extracted to another location before execution.
THEN COMES DEODEX
Deodexing is basically repackaging of these APKs in a certain way, such that they are reassembled into classes.dex files. By doing that, all pieces of an application package are put together back in one place, thus eliminating theworry of a modified APK conflicting with some separate odexed parts.
In summary, Deodexed ROMs (or APKs) have all their application packages put back together in one place, allowing for easy modification such as theming. Since no pieces of code are coming from any external location, custom ROMs or APKs are always deodexed to ensure integrity."

If you odex the rom, you'll have also more space in data (this is important because if you don't have partition ext4 in sdcard, you won't have too free space), increase battery life, more stability and increase perfomance( the Rom is more faster to load system and app) but you can't modifie apk after odex (you can't mod program with classes.dex).
Infact ODEX is an OPTIMIZED-DEX and Android load system and app faster than deodexed (DEOPTIMIZED-DEX) app and system.
When you have a deodex file (a lot of roms are deodexed) you have File.apk in system/app and in data/dalvik-cache/[email protected]@[email protected], but with odex file you have File.apk in system/app and File.odex in system/app"

It have some notable speed differance in launching apps etc, its not huge but its there for sure.

Unfortunately at kenet's deodexed htcmania nd3 themed failed to odex.

Installed correctly supersu looks ok failed everywhere, i tried all and one by one, probably is the rom I don't know. I didn't let it to finish started fail fail etc and cut it at all first and when tried one by one the 3 other choices it did the same too. This rom had problem with supersu and I fixed it installing supersu update 1.94, maybe is this I don't know. At supersu application terminal has supersu permissions also when running the script looks that it has supersu permissions. Other apps like mobile odin pro titanium backup etc which need supersu working normally.

anyone tested ART on this set up ?

Failed on system apps. Dn v5

My phone has about 180 meg free memory on /system. I'm running DN3 V5. Problem is that the odex script runs out of memory, with about half of the apps not odexed.
This resulted in a number of fc's on various system apps, even after I cleared cache and dalvic. I had to reflash DN3 to restore... ?

Yes, i m running ART after odexing ROM.. most of apps are running fine except for those not for ART

Ok remove some system apps you dont need and go (if you like to try on your new flash)

From developer options.. if you cant see developer options in your setting... then go to about phone, built number,, and tap on build number multiple times.. to enable developer options.

I know how to enable dev option but there is no option on runtime.

This is a MUST if you love to modify your phone. A few reasons to have it:
-Without Superusermod, BDFreak's Advanced Framework WILL cause a bootloop if a Factory data reset is performed. (Solved by reinstalling stock Framework)
-Without Superusermod, Riyal's 4K and Timeshift video or Ben Ling's Portrait Retouch port will not work, you'll get a FC or Camera Not Available message.
How To Install :
-You must be on a Rooted AND Deodexed 14.4.A.0.108.
Recovery optional. Can be copy-pasted onto system/framework and then rebooting. (Correct permissions are rw-r--r--, 0644) Otherwise:
- Download from:
1-MEGA
2-MediaFire
3-Or Attachments.
-Make a backup in TWRP (Is way faster)
-Install the .zip and wipe cache and dalvik cache
-Reboot

Your problem is related to the 4K, not to the services.jar (This mod) Wipe cache and dalvik, then clear data from ALL camera apps.

Works fine on deodexed C6902 4.4.4

Does this superuser mod work on odexed rom?

You can't. First step is root, then deodex and then this.
