That's was the first thing I did when I first got my M8 due to some of my modded apps. I've heard that some times Google play has to have updates uninstalled

I GOT IT! OK I was using the Downloader from ES File Explorer... And apparently it was incorrectly downloading it. I used the chrome Downloader and it installed instantly! Thanks for the quick replies man!

The green Android "flashlight" was downloaded using the ES File Explorer Downloader. That's how I noticed it. The "PROPER" flashlight apk is the one that has the actual icon. So if anyone has an issue like I did... Just use the chrome Downloader and everything will work fine!

I never even knew there was an HTC flashlight app.
Whats the benefit of it? There are a billion flashlight apps out there.
I use one that is a widget on the homescreen. Don't even need to open an app.
Too bad we can't add it to the quick settings panel.

Well this one is 672kb an no special permissions as of app store ones r 3mb an bigger an want permissions..HTC has had a flashlight app from far back I remember from my og evo days.

Shoot me screwed up the thumbnail cache on my phone and can get annoying if you set it to shake. BUT... it's free.
I like the built-in screenshot app on Cyanogen(mod) 7. All you have to do is hold in power button and it is among the choices for reboot, etc.
Yet another reason to go senseless.

I am all thumbs I guess but can never get that to work. What is the trick to getting it to work? I have screenshot and that works ok but having it built into the rom is nicer as its on demand and you don't have to load an app.

what kind of problems are you having? what browser are you using?
Ive had issues with Chrome and the XDA site recently. I like to start a new tab whenever I read new posts in a thread, but when I start a new one the content from the previous tab will still be displayed on the new one. I have to minimize the browser/tab and bring it back up for the content to show correctly. Not a big deal...but does get kinda annoying if you have 9-10 tabs open lol. this only happens on the XDA site for me

I know it sounds stupid but did you try logout then log back in?
Yes tried that as well. I just don't know how it can simultaneously stop working on the phone as well as the computer.

From the screenshot he provided he is on the portal instead of the forum. He should have http://forum.xda-developers.com/ in his address bar instead of http://xda-developers.com/ to access the forum.

Can't say I don't seem to have those issues but have you tried the xda premium ,or xda application for your device? It works like a charm for me! I can see my posts, I can post pictures, I can copy links, I can copy URLs, its really a great application. I get notified of pm that I may receive, it is able to mark my favorite forums, it's fully functional! I use the premium app because its a small one time fee and it helps support xda, but the non paid application is just as functional . You might want to give this a try , especially because your having issues with the website . This app comes in really handy! Best wishes. Hope this helps! You can download either premium or the regular xda application from the play store . I know for a fact these applications work wonderfully because I use the application when ever I go to the xda website , unless I'm don. a Rom, then I'll use the computer. It's just another option you might be intere

Edit: The Nexus 7 is rooted, stock and running 4.2.1. Also I just installed it on my rooted, stock Galaxy Nexus running 4.1.1 and it works great.

Facebook Home has been released. Yet our device is not supported ): Gladly others have found a way to make this work with or without root! I take no credit. Credit goes to Anerik for the root method and theos0o for the non-root method.
ROOT METHOD
First of all, install Facebook and Messenger
Change build.prop to Note II's
ro.product.model=GT-N7100
ro.product.brand=samsung
ro.product.name=t03gxx
ro.product.device=t03g
ro.product.manufacturer=Samsung
Now, uninstall the previously installed Facebook and Messenger apps, and install them again from Play Store, but in the phone, not in browser, make sure to do that.
Open Facebook, log in, and you should see a "Enable Facebook Home" on the bottom of the settings. Then install the facebook home apk..
Facebook Home Download- Download on Play Store when rebooted
NON-ROOT METHOD
Installation
• Uninstall original facebook and facebook home apps.
• Extract .rar!

So I have been researching on theming quite a bit and I thought I would try something a little more simple for now but yet, No one has done it for this phone. These are my first Theme packages out of many to come. The reason for doing this is I wanted to make my contribution to xda.Just like everyone else. Hope you guys like it and if you have any color requests or certain images you want for background please let me know and I will do what I can to make as many options and as many people happy as possible.
I have tested this myself and will always test everything before I post anything but I am in no way responsible for anything that happens to your phone always NAND backup before you do anything to your phone. I have only tested these on Deodexed Roms. I don't think they will work on Odexed Roms with that said here is a screenshot and enjoy.

How to Install:
1. Download keyboard of your choice.
2. Reboot into Recovery (CWR or TWRP) either should work just fine.
3. Clear cache and dalvik cache.
4. Install zip.
5. Reboot and enjoy.

No im definitely taking requests but I can only do so much at one time I will try my best to make everyone happy so please dont think I wont try. I do work 60 hours a week and dont have much time during the week tho so ill try to pump them out on the weekends

So I cant seem to find the white keyboard anywhere if you can find the white international keyboard and grab the apk. I will try to get it done tonight or tomorrow for ya but if not im going to have to try to just get it as close as I can which it might be a little more difficult to do
