Hi Folks;
I made a small mod from scratch, initially for my personal use but I thought that some others will like it too and decided to share it here.
It's not something spectacular, only the data connected icons which look a lot better than the stock ones.
Made for i9505 INERNATIONAL variant but can be flashed on i9506 too and surely Note 3 (also international version).
Works with i9500 too, you'll get 2G,3G and 4G in replacement of H+.
This small mod will change the icons without editing the Build.prop
29/03: I9500 owners; to add 3G+ and make H as 4G, download from ► here◄ and flash it ontop of the initial zip.

Download the attached .zip
Put it in internal or external SD
Boot into custom recovery
Flash and reboot!

i have a GT i9505 international version, and i'm on GE BH, and when i flashed this mod i lose the LTE option.
Now i just have GSM, WCDMA, or GSM/WCDMA.
The LTE option is gone.
can u plz release a .zip to restore the default system files?

Hi,
There's no way that this mod causes a loss of LTE.
it's just a Vrtheme. ..for Icons, it doesn't touch anything else.
So, your problem was caused by something else or you don't have an i9505
Or maybe you've Edited your build.prop?
By the way ..I am using GE rom and it works
maybe u'r right, i edited the buid.prop to get S5 toolbar widgets and i think it could be that!

Try to restore your build.prop (when you edit it, there's an automatic backup named build.prop.bak )
Rename it again to build.prop..hope that your LTE will work again .
I've seen some members having problems with EFS too after editing the build.prop

it should work as the files are the same.
Do a backup (at least systemUI.apk) just in case and flash the zip.

It was only tested on the amazing ECHOE Rom v.5+ but should work on every deodexed xxuemj5 and maybe odexed if you delete systemUI. odex

No, this mod will include only this change/feature, no icon theme will be included because each one of us have his own preferences...
That's why I recommend adn prefer Xposed framework for battery mod.
And maybe in the future (until the end of the year) we will have Lock Screen button presented as a Xposed Module!

I see what lines you added in your status_bar.xml, i added in mine systemUI (new MJ7 italian fw) but systemUi fc (apk tool compile all correctly)... Now maybe with 4.3 must to change something another xml for this mod? (i put of course also png in folder).

I know, the letters are situated elsewhere
The 2 files that i've requested contain only PNGs
Check the attached files, it's from the white Note3 keyboard with black letters.
All you need to do is to change the letters backgrounds to look like the one that you've posted before.
Check the attached file, it contains the XML colours, just replace it in res/ colour and it should work perfectly

This is the full white apk...
I have just deleted drawable-sw359dp-land-xxhdpi and drawable-sw359dp-xxhdpi to make it less than 8MB to be able to upload it here.
The missing files are already attached to my previous post, just decompile the apk and add them back.

Tnx mate! Works fine on Foxhound v3.6. Looks great. But I have a litlle question : is it possible to make all the buttons a little bigger? That you see less off the background, with less space between the buttons. I am using 'Black Glowing' keyboard.

Update: found the reason why slow-mo is choppy, turns out its recording at 720p and the i9505 does not support that so i guess its a quick fix for v2

not installed on odex official 4.4.2 NA5. not have this problem with Rom oméga v21 and 21.1
I have created ODEX version for this mod. Maybe I can share it if OP doesn't mind.

yes it is also an option, but i think u need to flash the whole theme, i wanted to share the keyboard with people who want just the keyboard , plus it has more of a stock look.

NB2-if its kitkat it will work, u only need to have a custom recovery and a deodexed 4.4.2 rom.

mine will work as it replaces the keyboard not theme it
I am having trouble with this keyboard not displaying anything when I press the SYM key in portrait. in Landscape it works fine.
So does this work on odexed roms?

Im in galaxy s5. Is no longer too?
I am on a Galaxy S5 and it kind of works. In portrait I only get the qwerty keyboard. When I press the "Sym" key the keyboard disappears. In landscape mode everything works fine.

I am on a Galaxy S5 and it kind of works. In portrait I only get the qwerty keyboard. When I press the "Sym" key the keyboard disappears. In landscape mode everything works fine.

You can try this keyboard together with flat style keyboard module from exposed modules

Tried this on Mrs. Frantic's phone, with Albe95 S6 port full V 4.7 and systemui FC'ed, even clearing cache and dalvik didn't help... hooray for backups lol

I'm in Astra Reborn and installed yesterday...no Bootloop...its the framework.jar of astra reborn 1.0 and apply all the changes ?

Mate, the S7 don't have weather in lockscreen, S6 4.7 port have it, the result cause sysui crash. To make more universal for i9505 I'll upload a new zip with the most recent and modern sysui.
I put S6/S7/N5 ports but Albe95's S6 port is getting old in these days lol. In Thor or Astra Reborn will work for sure.

That makes sense. will try my systemUI in her phone and see if that helps... let you know later after it is checked out. If that fails though I am going to install a thor rom. thanks for the answer....

Its because S7 font default, flash S7 fonts and will be ok, search the pack in xda, if not, I'll upload a fix for this when I can

Needed framework.jar special edition, mine its for i9505. So if you use my zip your device will go to bootloop.
