Hi everyone I m new to xda and I just joined it
I am using HTC desire vc I got problem in whats app it closes without any error and it starts only when I clear my data of whats app from system and in this process I also looses my unread massages. I have been told by whats app support that problem is due to hindi language. I am also not restoring my back up. Still this problem come every couple of days. Is anyone got solution then please let me know because sometime I looses my important massages also

Hi all. I bought my wife this phone yesterday, but it seems i cant find the whatsapp messenger in market. I can only find the wallpaper update for whatsapp.. I wonder what's wrong with this phone. Can anyone here help? Thanks in advance.
Edit: i also found out that some app available on my phone is not available on hers. For example angry birds.

I'm using whatsapp on the phone and angry birds has been reported by other users to work just fine.
Did you root your phone? Updated market via unoficial channels?
Or you can try a factory reset.

I use whatsapp as well and i had no problem finding it in the market. The only issue i had was that i ran low on internal space, so i moved it to the sd card. The whatsapp service then wouldnt start on its own so i wouldnt get the messages to come in unless i started the app.
Thanks all. Issue solved..the market setting was set to low maturity. I changed it to high maturity and everything is fine now.. Damn i missed that 1 important thing. This is embarrasing.

Oke folks i have a simple question.
I need a WORKING call policy app, i dont care whether paid or free. I've tried several apps from Android Market but theres one problem with them, neither runs in background or automatically starts after phone restart. Even if the description says they do ... they dont, like Call Manager PRO for instance. All i need from this app is when i set up a time interval, example 8PM-8AM, only certain phone numbers will be able to call me/reach me in this time period, rest will get either redirected or sent back SMS with some random "not available, will call laters" sms. I was getting through out the Sensation apps and setting and theres nothing like that build-in by default, unlike iPhone for example.
Is it realy so hard to find a working app, which doesnt autoclose when i start another app or auto starts after phone restart. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
Use root call blocked pro. I have been using it for a month now. Works for me.

unfortunately iam not rooted nor iam planning to be, thanks anyway
I use Call Filter, but it does not have time of day scheduling like you want. I have been using this one for years on 3 different phones and it does what I need it to do.

Hi Guys,
Appreciate if you can help me with my problem. My phone is not receiving some SMS/TXT Msgs from my other contacts. My phone is able to send SMS properly but there are times that I don't received any SMS from my other contacts. Have you guys encountered the same problem as well? If so, did you manage to fix it? I'm using a HTC Sensation XE which is not rooted and no custom ROM is installed.
Thank you and apologies if this issue was already answered (I wasn't able to find a thread for HTC Sensation with my specific problem).
Have u tried restarting the phone? Have tried clearing the messaging cache in applications>manage apps? How long has this been going on? Nice phone by the way sir.

Thanks for the reply! Yup, I've already restarted the phone a couple of times and cleared the cache as well. Hmm. I think this has been going for a month or so.

Have u tried doing a fctory reset? Are u using the stock message app not handscent or chompsms? Also you can go to your carrier and tell them u think the sim is bad. Ive had a few messed up sim cards that would do the same thing. Everytime i got a new sim the problem went away

I haven't tried doing factory reset. I'm saving it for my last option. I'm just using the stock messaging app of HTC. At first I was using Go SMS and I uninstalled it thinking that it was the cause of the issue. I've also reported this to my carrier twice.

Which carrier do you have? Call them and tell them u need a new simcard. Thats the problem man im 99.9% sure.

The problem was with my friend's network provider. Hehe.

Google Play is Down for Certain carriers/Countries , Mayb server load or some bug , Its not ur Problem its Googles So dont worry

Had the same problem (Telstra, Australia) this morning trying to download some app updates, waited half an hour and it came good.

Hi. I have a small problem , i cant see pictures in marketplace, facebook or in internet, on any rom what i use, sounds like im not clearing cache, ! But i can clear it how many times i want and reflash rom same. No changes. But its only happens when im on wifi, if im on mobile data all works fine. Plz some one can tell where is problem on this ???

I've never heard of this problem before. I can only imagine the issue is with your WiFi. But that still wouldn't explain the lack of pictures only. I don't know how to advise you. Try the help thread in the q and a section. You might find someone who can give you an answer there.
I found that the there is some bug in play store, same thing what i have. But it will explained pne problem, but not facebook and youtube. In youtube i dont see pictures anlu blank screens and the clip name.
Some time back i changed router ,but it cant be that fault, got better one
