No mic on keyboard?

I have searched and not able to find how to get the mic on the keyboard, normally its on the lower left next to the space bar. This is driving me nuts.

Yeah I really like the stock keyboard but I can not go without the mic I just downloaded Swype so I have a fix but I would like to go back to the Google keyboard.

I think I've found out how to restore it.
enable "Google Voice Typing" in language and settings

Can't remove "3 unread messages" notification from OPO custom lockscreen

Any ideas what app that "3 unread messages" notification could be linked to and how to remove it? I have tried marking all emails as read, and marking all SMS as read, with no luck. Its a very odd error and quite annoying as I like the custom lock screen.

By any chance you don't have 2 sms apps installed, like go sms and stock? If so, you'd have to clear them from both apps, and then disable the one you don't use.

That was it, thanks very much! Had to re enable stock messaging and clear its SMS.

No problem, figured that's what it was. I normally just delete the stock sms apk, personally.

Install App Settings in xposed and there you can select which apps you want full screen and what not.

I went with G3TweakBox so I didn't also install GravityBox.. thought they might conflict or something.. /shrug
I ended up trying ImmerseMe.. seems to be going pretty well.. few complaints but minor

Google System Restore

Hello,
I'm on Lollipop and I have a problem. When I make a clean flash (factory reset) and want to restore all my google things (W-Lan passwords, contacts, apps etc.) it only shows my Nexus 5 and it says that I used it 19 days ago. But I used it at least yesterday?
Why doesn't it say used yesterday?
I had this problem more than one time.

I wouldn't know, ask Google.
It seems to be kinda unreliable anyways, you're better off using Titanium Backup or similar.

Search function in Nought?

Since I updated to Nougat I can't find the "search function" (search for apps).
Heve they removed it from Nougat/EMUI 5?

You can swipe down on stock launcher. There you can search for apps, contacts, etc ....

Strange... this works for me. I have no clue why it doesn't for you

If I swipe down I only see the notifications (if any) and the shortcut icons for WiFi, GPS. Bluetooth, Mobile Data and so on.....
