i need a camera app for moto g which can take better pics then stock camera app
Well I am using snap camera, and this one have lots of settings

You can't take better pictures with a 3rd party camera app, you can only have more features or settings. It's still the same hardware shooting and the same firmware processing.

I use "A Better Camera" app. I find it easiest to use of the ones I tried.
I use dslr camera pro and nexus 5 camera apk

Hey just thought I'd let yas know about vignette. With it you can use your right trigger button to take photos, even with the latest version of android. Plus the picture quality is better than stock camera. I've been testing loads of different cameras over the weekend as hate how much stock camera compresses most photos to under 1mb, vignette had been giving me 2 & 3mb pics that still look great when zoomed in.

Came across this on the Market. Seems to be the actual camera from ICS ported to work on 2.3. All features (including panorama!) seem to work perfectly with my Play. Takes great photos too and even focuses really well when very close to an object
Wow thanks, Im realy fed up with current 2.3 camera App
Quality of photos is not better... Images wage same on normal stock camera app and this one. Only one good thing is panorama photos.

To me the image quality is worse. The photos looked less defined. Also the minimum distance of focus should not change compared to the stock or other apps.

Thanks for Info! I love this App and the new Camera Features:
- Volume Key Shot without Camera mod App
- Unlimited Video Record Time
- Higher 2x Bitrate for Videos and Ultra JPEG Quality feature
- Panorama Function
- Very nice design!

The "macro" focus setting is made for up close shots. Check it out it takes great shots with any camera apk

thanks for the info
tried it and works great on my play...panorama works great but you have to go slowly and keed a steady hand.
the main thing i want is the zero lag shutter...which i've seen reviews say its not there...
ohh well heres me waiting some more
This is better than the stock one. It even has the panoramic shot!
Takes pictures much faster and it actually shows the animations when launching/closing the app

Best opinion. I agree with you, image quality is worse compared to stock. Beautiful but ordinary...

Have you adjusted the compression, the default setting isn't great.

Even on highest settings photos looks same as on stock camera aplication (high quality). Photos wage same. Only one thing is good - in this app we have viewfinder in center of screen, so making a makro photos is a littlebit easier.

Android Browser runs it fine too.
Choices
Chrome (for now)
However, if it ever begins to feel sluggish I will quickly switch to
Next Browser
Next Browser is fast even on my older devices (HTC Sensation 4G and HTC Vision) and is very solid on stability.
I mainly used aosp browser but I've just switched to chrome beta and it's not much slower with better features

Tried it. It's really good and pretty fast. One thing I didn't like was that the toolbar was not only at the bottom but also it's pretty bloated. I'm currently using the stock browser.

Yup. 4.3, dual sim model. no 4.4 update yet for me eventhough some have gotten them.

not sure about that, phone is not with me now. video taken has the pixel but not in taken pic though.
Well if its on both cameras then its not dust or stuff.......
I normally refer to iMovie on my iPhone 7 to edit video clips with transitions and add other effects as well as music then export on 1080p.
Anyone know of the android alternative?
All the ones I've come across have subscriptions or in app purchases. Also the paid ones I've come across (Inshot, Kinemaster and Magisto aren't reliable as users have saidtheir whole projects get deleted without warning after app updates and things go haywire.
The others I've come across can only export at 720p.
Power Director is expensive with a yearly subscription.

After moving to Android I used your mentioned app Kinemaster instead of iMovie. Never had any problems...
Will give Kinemaster a try and see how I get on.

Kinemaster is subscription if you want to remove the watermark. Androvid Pro was recommend to me on Reddit. It seems good overall and only costs $2.50.

Ahh yeah noticed that about Kinemaster! Can't really call it an iMovie alternative especially considering iMovie is completely free and without ad's.
Androvid doesn't seem ti be capable of expressing video inn high quality such as 1080p 60 or 4K 30.
Honestly thought Samsung would have an alternative especially considering they're trying to convert iPhone users over to their devices.

I am using GoPro's Quik.
Completely free, produces 1080p60fps movies with a very good quality. You can add transitions, make video cuts etc.

I really like the Quik app! I'll go as far as to say it's better than iMovie! The best thing is it's available on iOS too.
Only annoying thing is importing videos can only be done from the Gallery app. Not a simple thing to do when everything is stored on Google Photos.
