I have installed Infused ROM, still the charging time is same as before. Is there a way to decrease my charging time?

Entropy's kernel uses alternative charging logic that supposedly charges faster at low battery. I don't know how effective it is, but you could give it a shot.

Yes, I am charging from 5%, Even if I charge from 50 to 100 it will take more than 2 hours.
the phone is charging 22 to 25% per hour. I dont think a phone should to such a long time.

can you tell me how can I update the kernel. I am new to android, so I am not sure with my Infused RAM, can I do this or not.

I didn't understand anything in this..
Try deleting the battery stats when you are at 100%... you can do this manually or with apps like " battery calibration" free on market, or go to system and delete batterystats.bin manually, try everything i guess.
I was having same trouble when i used to change between ROMS a lot now i decided to stick with Infused 1.6 Froyo did the "recalibration" with battery calibration app, and takes a few days for the battery stats to rebuild correctly again.
But now it hardly takes my Infuse 3 hours to FULLY charge.
And you can recharge at any point even if its on 80% or 95% if you have a power aroudn charge while not using... this batteries dont get "used" for recharging them before "time" they dont do memory you can recharge at any time.. there was a whole thread about that somewhere here on XDA sorry i cant post the link just maybe try the simple way.... recalibrate on battery calibraiton and give it a couple days to generate an accurate stats.
Also recharge while not using (working....eating...sleeping...)
If nothing works maybe... get a new battery? may be faulty i guess.

Clearing battery stats does NOTHING on the Infuse, or any of the first-gen GalaxyS devices, or any other Samsung phone with the MAX8998 PMIC for that matter.

Mostly i am charging when I am sleeping, still it charges @ 23% to 25% per hour. I already tried 3 different batteries and 2 phones.

it's funny (sad?) that you need to say this over and over again every single day. you'd think people would come across another one of your posts, which are everywhere, where you said this exact same thing.
Then you need to figure out the common denominator because either your cable, charger, or you aren't doing something right.
That amount of time to charge isn't normal.
Have you also tried pulling the battery for a few minutes then charging it yourself full? Don't power down, just pull the battery.

maybe try draining the battery all the way to 0. Recharging over night interrupted. And doing it once more. Not sure it will help, but I'd try anything.

I tried 3 different cables and a wall charger, all of them are behaving same. what could be i am doing wrong?
I will try pulling the battery in my next charging.

I already tried this couple of times...
Install CurrentWidget.
In the settings, near the bottom, there are settings for "operator on value" - Set it to divide by 1.83.
Then plug in your device when it's discharged below 80%.
Currentwidget should report 600 mA if you applied the correction factor above. If it reports 1100, you forgot the "operator on value" settings.
If it reports 475 mA, your device thinks it's connected to a USB charger for some reason.

The problem is people keep on coming from other devices, and they've been trained so long by HTC devices (most of which use coulomb counter fuel gauges) that they need to "recalibrate" their battery and let it "settle in".
Note that the GSII may also require battery calibration - it does have an updated fuel gauge chipset. But ours does not.

current wideget is showing around 600mA. So I hope its fine.
Currently i am at 78% @ 2.06 PM est. Lets see when it will be 100%

12 to 13 % in 30 mins, ie 4 hours to full charge, that is the problem...
Is it the same with phone off and charging as with phone on

Phone asleep and charging and phone completely off should be fine. Phone in use will take longer.
Also, the reason I said to measure at less than 80% is because as you reach 85-90%, you hit 4.2 volts and the charge circuit goes into constant-voltage mode - in this region, charging takes longer.
Measuring time to go 10-15% is WAY too inaccurate for any remotely decent estimate of total recharge time. ESPECIALLY if that 10-15% is near the top of the battery. Our fuel gauge probably has on the order of +- 3-4% error. For example, once I saw it drop 10% in 30 minutes, but then it recharged 10% in only 5 minutes. The 10% "drop" wasn't real.
Am i Supposed to have a full battery or an empty battery when wiping battery stats, and oops as well how long has everybody else had while on it??

then reboot and again charge to 100% done
also iam using the same rom on my s2 without any battery issue
normal usage (no wifi or data conn) only for phone call Lasts the day down by only 20% (80% left)
my only issue with the rom is the dial pad sometimes freeze's while dialing

with wifi for 2~3 hrs continuos will be down by 15~20% max(only wifi)
avoid 3g data if possible

After august update nexus 5 charges very slowly near about 50% in more than 2 hrs , any one else having same problem
I have a stock unrooted 16 GB N5 and charging through a wire or wirelessly doesnt seem to take any longer than before the update.

@udo do you have same symptoms .. takes 2 hhour to charge 50 ℅ when phone is not in use.... This is frustrating
Mine started doing that earlier I think. Says "17 hours to full charge". Huh? I have to take it off the QI pad and put it back on before it will charge normally.
Does it say charging via USB in battery stats? Happens to me on stock and elementalx. I use latest modem and bootloader.
Franco's kernel charging is fine, but it loses charge rapidly, but it could be dead battery.

Try franco's kernel. It forces to draw full power somehow, but charge doesn't last as well as on stock kernel.

When i seen your post I realised I had the same problem but I tried a different charger and it seemed to work better then.
I also tried another cable, it shows AC now. Probably cable got damaged somehow.

Yep, it's cable. Data wires are damaged, PC dosen't detect phone with that cable

It just coincidented with august update
I have installed Oxygen B12 and i flash SmurfKernel (i select power-save mode from Spectrum app) and NoLimits 4.5a magisk mod. For some reason battery is draining faster than before and i dont know whats the reason. Can anyone help me?

I use stable 9.0.4, Smurf Kernel and xxx mods. My usage varies between 5 and 7 hours SoT, with Maps, Games and music. Of course, if I push the phone harder it will provide less SoT. Are your apps in check? Use BBS to check for wakelocks and abnormal processes running. It will give you clues as to why your battery is draining faster than usual.
The battery drain 1% per hour during the night and 1% every four minutes of sot. On the 9.0.4 the discharge was 1% every 6 minutes of sot and 3% or 4% during the night (10h),
Same here. I just switched back to the stock kernel last night. based on my personal opinion the stock kernel is way better for battery life. The only differences I've noticed after using Smurf kernel was that the interface was a bit smoother.. that's about it. Your sacrificing 1-2 hours of battery life for a bit of fluidity. For me it's not worth it.

I just downloaded BBS to see if its any of my application that its cause the problem. But i dont think that is my applications the problem because i didnt download any new app and i noticed more battery drain after the update to beta12 (beta12 and 9.0.4 have the same features right?) and Smurf Kernel and xxx mod. I dont know if the problem is from the update or from the Kernel

Nope. No other mods than kernel + xXx.
I have not rooted my phone yet or installed any custom kernel etc.
The battery drain I noticed increased after the latest 12 beta update from OTA.
I am also noticing quite allot of heat coming of my phone.
As you can see the screen is using too much battery i my phone as a result the battery is draining quickly,is there any solution

and could you please show the screenshot of above part where it tell how much time remaining and since last charge.
and how much time it took to drain 8%.
