Hi,
I was wondering If i could share some of the apk which I have modfied (customised) here on this forum.
If this is possible could someone point to me the right forum section (maybe a link) where I could upload the modified (customised) apk.
The reason why I wanted to share was because I gained a lot from this site and was hoping to share whichever apks I have modified. I have been modifying Samsung S3 Jellybean 4.3 apks (individual apks) and would like to upload them just incase someone would like to try them too.

Thank you for your quick reply and for the link too. Till now I modified 3 apps : SecCamera.apk, SMemo.apk and SecCalender.apk.....These are apps which have come with the stock ROM........are these paid apps?.....Because if they are paid apps, than I will not upload.....wouldn't want to break any forum rules...

Am unable to upload the apks because outside links are not accepted till one completes 10 posts....
Also for some reason just cannot access this forum without using proxy website. This has been happening for the past few days. I can access this forum only via proxy website not directly. And if I use a proxy website, the insert link, attachement buttons etc which are used for compiling a post do not work......

Did you try "Manage attachments" option you can upload the file to your xda account so there is no need of outer website to upload the files..

Manage Attachments allows only 8mb of apk file to be uploaded. The apk file which I want to upload are all above 11mb. One is 11mb, one is 15mb.

yup maybe coz your calendar app contains more colour red: textbox, fonts and the buttons. try to make it more neutral. :good:

I took no part in the making of this theme!! It is the handy work of 928Droid!!
I love the features of 2.2, but I not really fond of the stock look so I did some searching and found a pretty nice theme. It was originally made for the Droid but with very minor tweaks will work on the Nexus.
Download MetaMorph version Here in the first post.
Use the MetaMorph version and don't apply the services sub-theme and it should work perfectly.
Grab a services.jar from another Nexus theme and push it to system/framework so you will have the white clock and notifications.
Looks cool! Very sleek.
A port of the Black Glass theme he did would be much appreciated!

Bump'd it. Links up. I MM'd this on top of Kang-O-Rama froyo. Worked fine. FC loop when it got to "phone". If this happens to you, just reboot, go back to MM and start where it left off...skipping "services"

I propose to you, that my mod, the original theme for Xperia J - ST26I
- also works on MIRO - See post # 14 from test wergon
- It works in portrait and landscape mode,
- It works well on unlocked bootloader, but I think it works just ROOT
- The test was performed by me on my rom firmware from Stock 11.2.A.0.31, default wallpaper changed framework_res.apk
Given that the tests were carried out on Xperia J with rom-changed.
Specified below:
I extract the original firmware (11.2.A.0.31), after converting it in FTF format, I converted from ODEX, in DEODEX ROM FINAL. Some changes
to the build.prop, status bar, frameworks, icons, etc. ..
TUTORIAL:
- BACKUP ORIGINAL THEME (with root explorer etc. ..)
- Extract the rar and put the folder VENDOR inside the SYSTEM folder ... with relevant permits ....
- restart
DOWNLOAD POST 2
DO NOT ASK FOR MONEY BUT ONLY THANKS IF YOU LIKE MY WORK....

Upload photo on internet,for example: http://www.tinyuploads.com/ And copy url of image when it will be uploaded and copy it to first post!
+ upload file on http://www.mediafire.com/ or something,because download gives 404 error!

Thank you .... but it is not the first photo or upload files that attach directly here on xda. It never occurred a similar error! However, the problem is even download the file ... try again tomorrow if it is a problem of slow line otherwise the gate ..

I am happy my mod works well on AVD rom.
Just the AVD rom was my first rom that I installed on my Jlo, just in this rom, the themes were crashing on my phone.
The icons you see, were one of the first changes that I made on most of the system applications, to my cooked rom.
But the change is not on SYSTEMUI or more .... but it is on every single application .... and it gets boring post ....
example: my PHONE.APK modified, may not work on other rom, 'cause the changes on my rom can be different from other rom .... framework-res ....
systemui setting .... .... etc ...
I hope I did understand ....
I have to decide to publish my rom ... I believe that the road is more convenient ....

As I have already said this mod was created by JB 11.2.A.0.31. The premise was used to this ....
I believe it also works on Odex rom, but not in cm10.
In the past I did some cooking rom cm10, - cm10.1 and AOKP for HTC HD2 and HTC WILDFIRE S with similar test, but with no results

Two Weather icon in my folder,on of two is the weather theme apk,another is normal weather apk.

Hi all! I have been using the SamsungSans apk for very long and have edited it as to my liking.
I removed a lot of fonts I wasn't using and added some I like. So now I want to share the zip file I am using.
Any additional font request can be granted as long as you can provide and apk similar to the apks from Samsung fonts.

Tested and working perfectly on SuperMan and BatMan Roms!

it is possible, but i havn't dug too deep into it, but it has to deal with the sec folder settings within the apk

I think we are using the same method, a flashable zip, since SamsungSans.apk is a system file, to make it work properly, flashing thru TWRP or manual push thru root browser or adb method would be the way. I removed font more so and added some that I like on my version.

I can't say it's impossible, but since it's size is so big and that it need to be in system, is the reason it won't be in an installable apk, but if someone can make it into one, then that'll be great!

To be clear ! No this cant be possible to make an apk installable as a standard apk. Apk i use previously need to be place in system, standard apk are installed in data. Flipfont system cannot be bypassed for this. Also it need a mod like signature bypass in framework and other restriction i do not remember... I've it somewhere but it an old old project and i dont have time actually to work on it. Cheers ! (I'll look if it change since i've made original mod but i dont think it can be done) ...
