AM I the only one who can't download TED talks from the market?

Yup I can download it with my HTC desire HD,but not with the Note and they are running the same Android

market take a look into build.prop for a DPI and version number - as your is different that stoch note it work seems that something within stock note prevent market form recognizing it as phone ( bet fits because 320 DPI - market think that is tablet )

I can't either. I have droped them an e-mail.
Running LC1 standard dpi.

I made it work with modded region free google play apk it remove region and device checks. Also should work wuth lower lcd densinity because 320 used by nite is rcognized as tablet for many aplications

i did not by myself - there is a modded version around
Mod version features:
Unlimited access to apps in Google Play Store
Removed countries restriction in Google Play Store
Fixed the issue which your device is not compatible with this item in Google Play Store

remove google play with any system app remover (titanium backup or similar) then instal like any other app

When I uninstall using TB, how come I can still access Google Play Shop by tapping on the icon on the screen?

uninstall stock version - reboot then install modded version and all should work ( sometimes maybe you will need to clean google store cache)

or if you have 3.4 version previously go to phone - applications -> play store uninstall updates ,, rebot then install modded version - just like in any other vendor.apk updates

well u can download it from 4shared.com or applanet or blackmart alpha

Dude, format the memory card, and also wipe data from setting menu,
then,
reinstall ICS

If that's the only option I'd rather flash the Frankenstein rom and just read you shouldn't factory reset on ICS :/

Please read my post carefully, i told you to delete data in settings, not in CWM.

Okay problem solved. Flashed a fresh copy of ICS. The error was while restoring my apps via titanium I was also restoring the old gb play store. Working well.

Now the problem is coming to my device like pulley06 said. I am getting error while downloading from Play store. it said Purchased cancelled & then Connection timed out. Also when I tried to download from Browser, it never started. I checked at my setting in Play store, it hasn't my carrier & service as well..dont know what to do now..already format 3 times my data. now i dont want to do the same again & start downloading applications again. HELP
Edit: I already deleted data & uninstalled update from Setting -> Applications.

Buddy. The Problem Pulley06 faced and urs might be because of the play store version u r using. U might have restored the play store u used in GB to ICS. Delete the play store apk. Grab a fresh copy of play store and push it to system/app. Delete data of existing play store from Settings->Applications before removing it.:good:

Try this way..connect ur Note to PC, run Samsung Kies on ur PC..u wl see an option Samsung Apps under "Store"..search for the app, click on "get", login & download..apk file wl b saved to /mnt/sdcard/SamsungAppKies folder..then install it

Yes it's still free on Samsung apps.. but it says not compatible with GT-N7000 in samsung apps website...
Even though I click on get on the Samsung apps(s-choice) it used to download and while installation it says can't be installed on your device.
Any help please

[MOD] ALL APPS in multiwindow

HI, here is the mod to have all apps in multiwindow bar!
Based on N9005 with Omega v.1 and working good. Need testing for other versions...
Just replace Service.jar in /system/framework and FlashbarService.apk in /system/app. Save the original ones just in case!
Reboot and enjoy!
Note: there is a little bug when adding some apps it's another that be added in bar but not a big problem.

I can't make it work. On my stock firmware. I try to replace both of the files. But the multi window option not appear. And also it make my pen-window broken. I can't create any pen window anymore.

Yes you need to be deodexed...

Works perfect. And it also allows you to use xposed settings so you can change the dpi of apps and ui. Great find. Stock rooted no deodex and enjoying all the perks.

Google now widget is missing from widgets....
But when i switch back to Touchwiz launcher i can see Google Now widget...
Everything works perfect except google now screen...
As i have read we can instantly access google now by swiping the left edge of the screen but it does not happen in this case

it's so fast and fluid, but i prefer touchwiz launcher which is nicer :laugh:

After installing this APK on my Samsung GT - i8262 every five minutes a error occurred,"Unfortunately, Google Service Play has stopped". Otherwise theme is good but please help me to solve this issue as it hangs my mobile sometimes.

Seems strange.. as it doesnt mess up with google play services..
can u try to wipe cache only in cwm recovery? or may be try and update google search from play store

u r using omkars rom.. u need to manually push those apks to \system\app
or using root explorer copy them to \system\app
