If it's an Telsda "ROOT" T9989 it sold alraedy rootet, which means you have full acces even to the system storage. It's Android 4.1.2 so this GApps -> Slim GApps 4.1.2 03/16/2014 will (probably) run on your actual system. These are only Playstore + core services and you can any additionally needed google applications download via google Play.

I bought a ZTE V967s for one reason: to keep a portable listing of my home library with me so I don't keep buying duplicate books at sales. I rooted the phone and installed Max Flavour.
I'm wondering if I can download the few apps I need associated with my library software onto the sd card and then flash Max Flavour slim without gapps? The apps I need to run are not put out by Google.

yes all apps will work without playstore

You can uninstall using titanium backup and no need to reflash rom for gapps issue. If you need gapps, later you can install too

Hi everyone!
I recently bought a cheap Chinese phone for my father. After finally having it rooted, now get Chinese notifications (from the Chinese Super User app), which I cannot read. I tried to install another version of Super User, but it does not work. I wanted to download the one supplied with the rootmanual I used (click), but the location doesn't exist anymore, just like the ones on other sites.
My question: does one of you have a English version of the Super User app which works on Spreadtrum SC6820?

Hello everyone! I bought the M811 device of China Mobile. It is running on Android 4.3. Most of the Google apps are not working and even if you put the language on English, still lots of information is still in Chinese, which I do not understand. Therefore, I want to put another Android operating system on it, preferably Android 4.4 KitKat. I am not familiar with this at all, can someone help me?

I have the same phone with the same problems as yours, also even if i have the "Network Mode 4G/3G/2G(Auto)" i can't get 4G and my friends next to me with other phones they can. So, is this 4G fake or what?
Also i made it to root it but i can't found any compatible custom rom.

I do currently have this device in my hand.
You can try rooting it and then you should be able to install gapps.
As no source code is released by CMCC(or at least I can't simply find it), upgrading to another version of Android requires a lot of work - possible in theoretic and possibly only possible in theoretic.

No custom ROM/kernel support for Chinese devices you know (It's from Chinese OEM with crappy MTK chipset that stuck on JB or something like that without any Open source support)...However you can install recovery for it....Head to MTK thread on XDA....

The stuff on needrom (version 1.0.5) is the latest/newest/best available ROM atm. Unfortunately, google play services still gives error 501 when trying to update. manually updating it to version 11.0.62 gives an almost 100% working system, only AVG is refusing to work (needs an even newer version of google).
Rooting seems possible but complicated. I am also hoping/wating on a fixed/rooted rom...
The System.img of all the ROMs for V10 pro , I've downloaded so far are corrupt.
Has anyone successfully been able to flash this firmware to their devices so far??
