[APP][1.5+][Holo] Invertase - Hex inverter app - Android Apps and Games

Invertase
Invertase is a hex inverting app for developers, programmers, themers and Android enthusiasts who want to invert the normal hex codes to inverted ones used in some of the smali files in Android Apps.
Scope
Though the scope of this app is very small, confining to very small occurrences of inverted codes in fewer Android smali files, it may prove handy to people who are more into exploring part of Android. Trying different color codes for getting a perfect color combination can be very time consuming, specially when you have to invert them with a pattern. Though working and principle of this app is very simple, it further simplifies the rather simple process of inverting.
Use
Use of this app is very simple:
You are provided with a text box where you can write the hex code you want to invert.
For example,
You want to invert the hex color #ff33b5e5, write ff33b5e5 (Values without alpha are also supported, for example : 33b5e5) in the text box and click the tick button on the right side of the box.
(Note: Text box is only for hex codes, any other text in the box won't work).
A panel will appear with your entered Old Code and inverted New Code.
As per this example, new code will be #cc4a1a. A color preview is also provided for a better look on what you're dealing with.
Note that the color will not change but only the code will, the color will remain blue but the new code will be required in some Android files such as Clock.smali in SystemUI.apk, BatteryHistoryChart.smali and LinearColorBar.smali in Settings.apk.
Though the new code will produce the same color effect as normal hex codes in Android files, it will refer to a different color in normal hex files, as if refers to a different color in normal hex system.
In similar way, you can invert the Android inverted codes to normal hex codes, but the color shown in this case would not be the real hex color, to see what the inverted Android hex is referring to, click on the New Code panel and your new code will be treated as normal hex and it's true color will be shown with the New Code again being the Android one.
You can long press on New Code or Old Code to copy it to the Clipboard.
To know more about how to use these new codes you got, see this guide on how to change the color of your Battery Statistics Graph:

Yeah, it's not certainly not for everyone Anyway, posted an updated with the following changes:
- Lexical density
- Display word count based on word length
- Unique word count
Minor updated posted
- Average word length
- Characters without spaces
Cannot download it
Seems really interesting but seems that my phone is not compatible with this version..
Updated the main UI so it's easier to navigate. Also added a compare text option which will as the name implies compare 2 bodies of text and hilight the differences between them.
Supports 3.0+ only (maybe include that in a tag, "[3.0+][APP] Text Utilities"?).
Do you have any plans to make it available on lower android versions?

+ Reverse string - reverse a string of text
+ Extract URLs - extract URLs from a given string
+ Length based search - search a given text and hilight words based on given size

Create your own app without coding | InstApp

Hello Guys! In this thread I would like to show you an easy way on how to create good looking apps in minutes without coding on instappbuilder.com.
1. You only have to get the idea on what kind of app do you want to make,
2. chose the best fitting template (or blank template)
3. upload the content,
4. choose the stlye (i.e. background image(s))
5. and finally publish the app in the stores (or share the .apk with anybody through a microsite)
Sounds easy right?
How it works
Select your app type!
Select your app type! (Event, Restaurant, Cafe', Pub, Hotel, Business, Sport Team, Music Band, Institution, Fitness and Gym)
After selecting the app type you can work with a thematic template, which contains the characteristic items of the given theme. Naturally, you can rename and restructure these recommended items according to your conception.
For every template we offer you an individual background and splash screen
If you don’t find a suitable model, choose one from the available templates and rename the menu items.

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
Add content
The menu items of unique templates have different structure, so several information type can be visualized in the app.
You can create a simple description, give your contact information, link your social media sites, share photos and videos, arrange a schedule with a real-time status, and you can navigate your clients to your location by its exact address.
You can rename the menu items, and their icons can be replaced too.
You can change the order of the menu items as well.
You can add 5 custom menus to the default items in every app types. The content of the custom menu can be a description or a website.
Choose style!
Choose from the background and splash screen templates or upload your own picture giving a unique design to your app.
For every app type we offer you an individual background and splash screen
Not only the background and splash screen picture can be changed, but you can choose your own menu and optional menu background, app icon and market icon as well.
You can upload a picture of your own photos, you just need to pay attention to the given proportions.
Publish your app
After you have finished to create your app, it will get into InstApp's own gallery, this way anyone can download its Android version. With the assistance of the link of the microsite you can start to spread your app!
If you don't want to be your app available in InstApp's gallery, switch its status to private.
For more extensive accessibility publish the app to Google Play, App Store and Windows Store.

The idea for a “personalized Love Calculator” I got from one of these TV commercials for expensive Love Calculator apps. Why not to make an own Love Calc, which basically works exactly as useless as a “normal” Love Calculator , but with the small but important “fix” that it returns 100% when two special names are entered. That would be a nice gift idea for your significant other for christmas .
Who directly wants to jump to the files, just scroll to the end of this post. There is a ZIP file containing a ready-to-compile B4A project, made for a 720×1280 resolution.
Since I am not a Java coder, I was not in the mood to set up the SDK, IDE, paths and so on for a one time programming in Java. So I searched for a alternative for creating Android apps with as less setting up work as possible. I found B4A: Basic for Android. This is a development environment in which you can develop native Android apps in a Basic-like language. It also has a graphical GUI editor. One big advantage is is that no setting up of paths etc. is needed, since B4A offers the oppertunity of “Remote Compilation”, where the program is uploaded to a server where it is compiled. So you just need to install the 30 days trial version and you’re good to create an app (the Java JDK only needs to be installed). The only downside of this program is, that for a few seconds after opening the app, a message box is shown that the app was created with the trial version.
So here now a short guide, how to make your own, personalized Love Calculator:
Installation of the software:
1) Download and install the JDK (here)
2) Download and install the Basic 4 Android Trial (here).
3) Get the B4A Bridge App from the Play Store (here). This app is needed to test the compiled APK later.
When the softwares are installed, you can directly begin with the app itself .
Adjusting the app:
When you start the IDE from B4A the first time, you land in screen like this:
Via Source->Open Source you can load the project from the Love Calculator (at the end of this post). Then the source code should be loaded.
Now you can insert the “special” names : Just replace the value of the variable name1 and name2. If for example the names Dog and Cat should produce a 100% result, the following lines have to be changed like the following:
Code:
‘HIER DIE NAMEN ERSETZEN!!!
name1=”Cat”
name2=”Dog”
Te first line is simply a comment and means “Change the names here!”. This is the only part in the whole code which need to be changed. In the actual program it does not matter, which name is on which position or if written with capitals or not.
I adjusted the GUI to a display resolution of 720×1280. If you need an other resolution, you have to to this in the “Designer”.
Via “New Variant” you can create a new resolution. In the “Abstract Designer” you can scale and adjust the position of the UI elements. I won’t go here too much into details, if you have any questions, just write .
Save the project and choose “Release” from the dropdown list right beside the blue arrow. Then start the B4A Bridge App on your mobile. Click on “Start Bluetooth”. Then go to Tools – B4A Bridge – Connect (Bluetooth) in the IDE. First click Find devices and then your phone. Then you should be connected with your phone. Now you just need to hit the blue arrow and you’re done! The app should be installed several seconds later.
The compiled .apk should be placed in the project folder under /Objects . Surely this App won’t win an innovation or design award, but thanks to the little “Fix”, which gives a specific name combination always 100%, it is a nice little gimmick, especially for christmas time .
The ZIP-file of the project you can find on this site.

This app can help you to fetch any text information from the internet, and display it to you with widgets or system notifications.

Any comments? Is it good idea for app? Or it's useless?
If somebody needs help with setting some template, i can help
Version 1.2 available:
- When you setting template with css selector, you can select element directly on web page. Note that this function is suitable only for simple pages, which structure and elemts position doesn't change. It's preferable to manually adjust the selector, then parsing will be more correct and the result more expected.
- Added results history for every template, it can be saved to txt-file if you want.
- Now you can copy parse result at the corresponding screen.
- Fixed incorrect sharing links and some other bugs.
Great app idea!
In future versions you may try to add mode where user enters his current number of subscribers, for example. Then your app downloads html and finds the place where that number located. It would be more simple and reliable, imho
It's not only for subscribers count, you can use this app for any other information on web-sites, maybe for last news or last posts on forum topic or maybe for checking availability of goods in the store or for currency rate or weather.
So, typing current number of subscribers and getting automatic location of this place is useful only for this case... App has mode where you can pick at simplified webpage element which you want to parse and css-selector will be automatically defined, but this mode is useful only for simple pages structure of which doesn't change in time. It's better to define css-selector manually or use regular expressions.
PS: sorry for my bad english... if it's so...
I prepared a video with a demonstration of the application:
