Vibration on Moto G - Moto G Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hey guys,
I have a little problem with my Moto G: the vibration intensity is too weak and when my phone is in my pocket, I can't feel the incoming messages and calls. This is a big problem because of this I always miss calls and important messages. Is there any option to adjust the vibration intensity?
Thanks in advance.

Unfortunately there's not an option to change vibration intensity without rooting your phone.
If you are rooted try this:

Adjust vibrate sensitivity in general?

Hi all,
I own a HTC Desire and I don't like the vibrate sensivity. It's too strong and it doesn't feel good... Previously I owned Windows Mobile phones and it was very easy to adjust the vibrate sensitivity... There was also an app to enable vibrate on every tap....
Is this possible? (I really mean in general, not just ringtone vibration or keyboard vibration)
THANKS!
No one interested???
Sent from my HTC Desire using XDA App
Got the same issue, at least for sms and calls I reduced it with smart vibrator by reducing the duration of the vibration
Any news of you ? Did you find a solution ?
I'm interested too... My Desire vibrates too much on my desk !
Ty chill91. SmartVibrator works well for this. Yes it still sucks I can't modify the vibration intensity, but at least I can cut it down to a short burst.

[Q] No notification sounds during phone call?

Is there any way to turn on notification sounds (for new text msg or email etc.) during phone calls?
I find myself constantly taking my phone away from my ear during calls to check if there are any new notifications since the sounds get muted during call and find this kind of annoying. Seems like this should be a standard option, no?
Turn on pulse notification light in display.
You really talk on the phone so much and receive so many notifications that this is a problem?

Notification pulse is turned on - that has nothing to do with sound. It bothers me because notification sounds worked just fine during calls on my Galaxy Nexus.
If I talk on the phone for 40 minutes but I get an important text message 5 minutes into the call that needs a timely response, yes, it is a problem.
Anyone have any ideas? This is an annoying issue.
+1. I'm looking to see if there's a solution for this.
Yes , I need to know the answer to the same , because missing out on important messages are a fear when I am on long calls . Thanks .
Anything new on this? Just got my Nexus 5 and I'm having the same issue.
Use tasker. Make a profile that makes a short vibration upon receiving a notification. You could use a sound instead of vibrate, but imo that would be annoying for you and the person you're on the phone with.
Nexus 5 issue.
There's a simple solution for this., just go into your settings>sounds and notification >interruptions. Here you can edit what notification will interrupt you while being on a call.

Did you ever find a solution to this? My phone has started doing exactly this, and I don't really know how to even begin troubleshooting it.
Yes I did. It was a 3rd party app causing the problem. A call control app that lets you accept and block numbers.....
Thanks for replying. That was my problem too. You saved me going through app by app to figure this out.

Make sure you have set a proper ringtone, with high volume and make sure the profile is 'General' and no set to 'Silent' or 'Vibration' mode.

Question Whatsapp Incoming Call Vibration Issue

Hi All,
Phone is vibrating on Whatsapp incoming calls. I cannot seem to disable the vibration no matter what I try.
This started happening recently, not sure if after Android 13 update or not, but I have all vibration settings on my phone to OFF, incoming calls and notifications from phone settings and from Whatsapp settings as well.
Any one having the same issue?
Thank you kindly in advance.
Try clearing phone cache
It happens with my phone as well...also with my wife's s21 ultra. I think the issue is with whatsapp.
Clearing cache didn't fix this.
I wish there was a way to fix this...
I lowered the Vibration Intensity for calls to the minimum level in settings (Sounds and Vibration) and it did the trick, but of course the phone won't vibrate at all on incoming calls if the phone profile is set to vibrate.... Temporary solution until Whatsapp fix this.

I had this way back when I first got the s22 ultra. It went away eventually. There were threads on it.
