Finally I get the S5 Weather Widget fully working (not the themed one but the real from S5).
This widget working only in KitKat touchwiz ROM with touchwiz launcher!

Galaxy S5 Accuweather Widget
Instructions:
1. Download S5 Accuweather widget and WeatherDaemon from here --> http://www.mediafire.com/download/v9rs6dk2kc6d1yu/Accuweather.zip
2. If you already have S5 Weather widget go directly to point 4. If you've still S4 weather uninstall it with titanium backup (or remove apk from system/app).
3. Reboot
4. Install my 2 apk like a normal apk.
5. Reboot again
6. Open Touchwiz launcher and put the widget on the Home.
7. If you encounter error deleting data and cache. If Weather go constantly on crash see here
8. If you want S5 font on Accuweather go HERE
9. Fix if you face CITIES LIST FC

Interest thing:

I got it. Please delete WeatherWidgetDaemon.apk before you installa both files. If you did not make it, it will give this error.

Backup your old widget install both new apk put them into system app and set permission reboot and go to application manager go to all look for weather apk and clear cache this work for me

Sorry, i don't wanted to be rude thanks for your shared widgets, i was searching a working accuweather (5x2 resizable) for leaked chinese rom; it's strange but original accuweather widget from GNote's gingerbread roms pushed on ics fill only 4x and not 5x.

I have Note Rooted! Custom ROM
Download is OK
I try to install
1)As a Regular App:-
Install it normally like other aps
ERROR: application is not installed
2)As a System App:-
Copy in system/app using Root Explorer
Set permissions as rw-r--r--
Reboot
I can't set permission with root exlorer!!!!
I was interested in using this too but didnt work for me (failed to load widget or something)
Mind you, I just got scared (didnt want to mess up phone) and unistalled it without trying to figure it out...
(Rooted, stock ROM)
Perhaps OP should make some more detailed instructions?
Use root explorer!!!and put in system/app and set rw-r--r-- as permisoons

Just click on the little grey button "mount r/w" in Root Explorer and it will work.

Coz its 4x2!!!CAn U Upload the Stock 5x5 for me!!I will make Transprent it also!!
Here you go its the 5x5 stock Samsung widget. If you can make semi-transparent and full transparent I would appreciate it.

if they show the dots then you can drag to fit.
I had to switch to the other google search widgit to get the resizable one. also had to remove and re-install weather widget

well if you can get it to copy to (SecLauncher4.apk)system folder, then go to data/dalvik-cache/[email protected]@[email protected] ( way down the list)
and delete [email protected]@[email protected]

ok then you must have odex rom, when you copy the Touchwiz Launcher 5x5 SecLauncher4.apk to your system folder, you need to delete the SecLauncher4.odex file
I will fix the installer. The odex file is the issue.

bri315317 I tried it on my AT&T stock odex rom and it still FC works fine on deodexed rom, which 99% of us use deodexed rom
never mind it works, I had it deleting from data instead of system
so work on AT&T odex stock rom

if you get error and not selected city you can uninstall it and then reinstall it .. you can refresh weather from widget..

2nd method:
Download titanium backup, select APP and delete data. Open the APP and choose your city. ( works for me )

Here it is. I have only tested it on leaked 4.4.2 FNA5. To install it you must be rooted. Make a backup of the stock apk just in case and place the apk on system/apps, set permissions to rw/r/r and reboot.
I have only themed the widget, if you open the apk it´s still stock.
OFFTOPIC: -Aatif- where did you get the images? I´m trying to download a tab pro firmware to try some port but file is too large and my internet too slow and if you have it, maybe you can upload some files I need.

Decided to give it a try on Galaxy S4 and turns out half of the stuff doesn't work
The setting app loads perfectly fine other than the fact that there were 2 settings in the app drawer.
working here on the NB4 firmware as well.. tried to freeze the old settings app through TB but both of the settings icon disappeared in the app drawer.. good thing i have folders so i just placed the other one there and set the new one as the default settings app..

Can u please do a step-by-step procedure on how to do this?
just download the apk and copy/paste it in the system/priv-app folder.. overwrite the existing one and set the permission to rw-r-r then reboot the phone.. you need to be rooted to be able to copy/paste the apk to the destination..

maybe your settings app is installed in app/system. just delete it or overwrite it with my app

Use rootexplorer:
Rename downloaded file with SecSettings.apk, copy, go to system/priv-app rename old SecSettings.apk with .bak, paste, menu, set permissions, r-r-e, reboot, try settings. You will have 2 different icons, press use once to view wich one is the new one.
This worked for me.

NewTouchwiz from S5 coming with stock 4x4 and have big icon.
Now, i and my VN team @thanhfhuongf have modded touchwiz S5 with 4x5 , 5x5 icon in homescreen -5x6 in ap drawer - 6 icon in dock.
Update : My magarzine have replaced by pull up. Choose any app in pull up and if you swipe over left you will open app have choosed in pull up.

Install 3rd launcher then go to system/priv-app change your Seclauncher4.apk to Seclauncher4.apk.bak
You just rename it if you want comeback.
I do not test on android 4.3 , so pleas be patient.

Which launcher do you suggest. I like the stock look of touchwiz. What chages does your launcher has?

Great job. both 4x5 and 5x5 work fine on SM-N9005 but widgets sizes got messed up. Had to go back to my original 4x4 S5

no u dont need to install another launcher. just use root explorer push the new apk to system/priv app fix permission then rename ur old touchwiz apk to touchwiz.apk.bak, and reboot.
Thats what I did.
