[Q] plz Help regarding cm7.1

Hi i had instaleed cm7.1 on my phones and i m nt liking it coz the video lags and even theme chosser hang while installing new theme.. i want to know that can i just got to cwm and install zip frm sd card flash any other rom like razordroi creddsrom or cm9 or nethng and its not possible so how to remove cm7.1 and install cm 9
plz help fast its a request.....plz

dude y are u install an unstable old version when newer cm7.2 rc 5.5 is there????

i want to know that can i just install the new cm directly on the previous or one or do i hv ta remove it....what will happen if i download cm9 and using cwm install that zip of cm9???????

first about cm 7.2
you should goto cwm and wipe data/reset,wipe cache,format data,format system and cache.and then install cm 7.2
now about cm9
cm9 is based on ice cream sandwhich which is the latest version of android but is not available for our mobile.
So cm9 is still in development stage.though most of things are working but few bugs are still there so i prefer not to install that.but you can always stick to the topic and find about the current status of dev.
And all other roms have something or the other in them and you install all of them in the same way.and yeah will u mind pressing the thanks button?

please help, when I flash iHacker's MIUI v5 3.9.20 OTA update on TWRP, it failed on update binary. maybe on update-script??? help iHackers admin NOOB here.

Hello Friends !
By proffesion i m a It professional but i was not much involved in Android Development/Experiment.
i had updated my phone to JellyBean 4.1.1 from service center.
But after alot of research i Rooted my Canvas 2 Phone in nov 2013.
lots of apps were there to use, i used it.
Then i heard of ThunderZap Kernel 2.0 and i decided to use it .
i used Quadrant Standard Edition to view the change after installing it but unfortunately i saw that performance was degraded a lot.
but i continued using it had many problems in between.
then yesterday i decided to try any custom rom, after a self evaluation i decided to use MIUI Custom Rom.
i followed the mentioned procedure as said in the post by @Akhilendra Gadde.
flash 3.12.13 and update it to 3.12.21
i followed it completely.
now my phone is looking awesome.
UI is too good.
but....I M facing Problems.
1. Rear Cam is not working.
2. Play store download not working.
3. Unable to Install any apk files/apps.
4. default browser i unable to download complete files.
5. system is laggy.
i have udated the download limit in downloads but still having prob.
i m using thunderzap v2 kernel.
why should i use any script as they suggest suvibooster.
if anyone know/tried and want to suggest me any custom ROM with no Bugs plz suggest me.

Hi...actually u r using 4.1 kernel on 4.2 rom,so the consequence are those bugs. Either use a 4.1 rom or 4.2 kernel with 4.2 rom.

May be you can try Suvi ROM V16 it has android 4.2.1 . Its best UI and good performance. But while your flashing custom ROM from 4.1.1 to 4.2 then you need to update into latest Kernel (4.2). We cannot able to provide you the Kernel link due to GPL violations. Try to google it you can get it easily.

Yes I am also waiting since 6 months for MIUI latest Roms.
If possible please upload it.
For temporary bases I am using Miui 7 Global 6.2.25 | Beta, which based on clone mobile(name is Fly IQ450 Quattro Horizon 2) of A110q.

They uploaded latest version of MIUI which is 6.6.16, but this Rom is in ru-au language.
So I cannot update it because I need English version of it.
You can get Rom. Go to above Website then just click (firmware-> custom firmware-> Android 4.4-> Beta-> MIUI 8 miuiEU 6.6.16_ru-ua BETA updated / upgraded).
If possible customize it and give us bug fix rom.
So we can enjoy latest MIUI Roms.

[ROM] Cyanogenmod 12.1 for Huawei Ascend Y520 [MT6572]

I will not b responsible for blah blah...I hope you already heard that...
This is cyanogenmod 12.1 for Y520.
It has all the cm features.So,I guess I have nothing to explain.
What's working---
Everything except mentioned below.
Not Working/Possible bugs---
1)Network Dropping after every minute for 2sec.
Not dropping while on call.
Fixing Bug---
I guess its not a very serious issue as the rom is perfect for daily use.But if u wanna fix that network drop,follow this---
1)Get Chamelephone.apk
2)Get your IMEI from phone's back(under battery) and type them on Chamelephone.
3)Hit apply and Re-boot.
