Hi, first i am not sure where to post this, sorry if i am in the wrong posting area.
I'm on OmniROM 4.4.2 i9300 Nightly on my Samsung Galaxy S III. I don't have any issues with it. It's rooted with many functions. I do have a problem setting the ringtone. I cannot change the default ringtones. For example i want to set .mp3 songs to ringtones but i cannot set anywhere to change/ search folders for ringtone.
Can anyone help? Thanks.

Hi guys,
maybe for most of you the clicking sound "chick chick" isn't annoying but it's too loud and hurts my senses especially using ear phones...
I have a very cool clicking sound file from my old Samsung mobile... I would want to change default to that and lower it's volume...
Anyone know where is the wav file located for that clock sound in our Roms?
That mp3 located in system/media/audio/ui/
yeah thanks.. I figured it out already yesterday...
How is the selection done from the files within the directory? Do we replace the file with our own with the same filename? Because I changed from one rom (Omega 16.2) to another (Omega 9.2) and I saved in my pc the folder /system/media/audio/ui from both roms to compare them. Although both roms have (almost) the same files in the directory, the touch sound (which is the one I want to change) is different. So how do I choose which file the system uses for each operation?
EDIT: I am using Samsung Galaxy SII, I got here from a link from another thread. I will post this to the proper forum again, although the system is the same
How do I tag mp3 files for ringers for different people and the default one? Also for alerts and alarms?
in contact manager, you can chose different files as ringtones for different peoples, or keep the default one
How can I set a custom ringtone for a contact with the Lollipop update? I've had a look in the contact main and editing screens and can't find anything which will let me change it. I wonder if it is related to the missing Mark As Default screen.
Does anyone know to do this?
Thanks,
Mark
Does anyone know what ringtones and wallpaper are on this device?
Has the "Grande Valse" ringtone been updated?

Nokia Tune is essentially the same as the 2018 version played here:
Stock wallpapers are here: https://www.techmesto.com/download-nokia-8-3-stock-wallpapers/
I haven't had a Nokia since 2016 so I'm not familiar with any of the more recent models but ringtones and notifications are named after Greek "stuff" (Tethys, pyxis, titan, etc.) along with a dozen "Nokia" ringtones and "Nokia Message" notification sounds, alarm sounds are mostly elements (oxygen, helium, argon, etc.) with "Timer" and "Nokia Alarm_Clock" (which sounds vaguely familiar but has definitely been updated since my n75/e72/Lumia days).
It's still very easy to add ringtones and sounds, too.
I have a notification sound named "93" set for the default notification sound, but I can't find it anywhere in the system files. It's a Lineage17.1 build for the Oneplus6T, I assume its official. I downloaded a zip of LineageOS stock notification sounds but I didn't find it there. But I really like this specific minimal sound. Anyone know of a way to find it?
Edit: I did find it in my Dropbox, I guess I somehow found it a 2 years ago and backed it up so I didn't have this problem. But is there an easy way of searching for these ringtones? If I did back it up and restore it on the device, it should have been easily found by its name "ding", but system notification sounds are more difficult to find, but this same sound was named "93" for some reason . But it wasn't in the ringtone folder for sure cuz I checked that which had one I know I put in there.
