[Q] Adobe Flash - Droid Ultra Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi,
I have a Motorola Droid Maxx on 4.2.2 rooted and am wondering if there is a way to get Flash Player working on it? I'm visiting a web site that requries it.
Thx
Mark

Check out this thread, I believe it has what you're looking for.

Yep. And when you take the 4.4 plunge it won't work....

You can always use a 3rd party browser for a quick work around. If its a must I use photon browser which has a flash option.

using maxx rom on maxx hd

Is it possible to flash the Maxx ROM to the Maxx HD? I want my moto cast, I was hoping I can put the Maxx ROM in my HD and then let it update to JB and possibly carry the moto cast app over.
Nope, different hardware, they will probably discontinue the service on the future. Why not get your music on google music instead?

I use moto cast for my business. To auto upload pictures to my home computer and to access files from my home computer.

You can use cloudvault linked with Google drive to auto upload pictures and access files remotely.

I have a rooted razr maxx. I am thinking about using a jb. Appalachian wireless is my provider. My question is, can i ise any rom, or would i have to have one geared for aw?

Just an update. I am currently running cyanogenmod 10.1 on my aw xt908. Works like a charm. It does change the name to xt912 while cm 10, but so far everything is working great.
I have tried to flash jelly haters and solar eclipse as well, but all i get is a black screen. I have used a couple other roms successfully, but those two seem out of reach. Anyone have any pointers to get one of the two running on my phone?

I am on Appalachian and was thinking about rooting and installing Cyanogenmod on my RAZR MAXX too. Was just wondering, did you stick to the regular Cyanogenmod instructions or did you have to deviate at all because you were on Appalachian rather than Verizon. Also, did you have 4G when you installed? How did that work out?

Q About xt926 And Rooting & Unlocking

Hello I just upgraded to a RAZR HD on verizon and it came with ics. I'm wondering if I should root and unlock before the update to official jellybean?
And if I can make a nandroid of stock ics or stock jb, do I need to root and unlock before I can backup?
I also noticed some weird static in my skullcandy ear buds when listening to YouTube and Google music anyone else notice this?

Root and unlock is available for jb so no worries there.do it sooner rather than later in case an update comes out that disables the unlock exploit. You can't do a backup that way unless you unlock and install a custom bootloader.once you unlock you forfeit your warranty btw.have never noticed a static issue.

Static issue seems to be gone once I disabled the audio eq in settings, trying the motochopper root exploit hangs in ics so I guess I will be updating to jb after all then.
Got the updates from 4.0.4 to 4.1.2 but when I try to run the motochopper exploit my PC reboots and due to "DPC_WATCHDOG_ something” I can't remember the last part of the error. My PC is win 8 x64.
Edit- Turns out the DPC Watchdog Violation errors I was getting is due to a faulty usb port on my laptop, I used a different usb port and now my razr hd is rooted. *Sighs relef* thought I screwed one of my machines for a minute.
I have too. Its rather annoying. My iPhone never had that issue. I haven't tried it since going to A new ROM though. I'll let you know if it is better in the next day or so.

[Q] Back to stock with root?

I was just wondering if I can go back to the stock MotoBlur ROM and still have full root access for my GSM XT925 ( mostly because I can't connect to Koodo cell)
Yup.

Tap your heals together three times while repeatedly saying "there's no ROM like stock!"
Or you could use one of the many tool kits available in conjunction with voodoo root keeper.

That's good. Does anyone have a backup? We tried a root method and it didn't turn out so well, and I'm stuck using my backup device...
I just realized that my link is for the Droid Maxx files (my phone) and not the Mini, but when the site is back up, the mini is easy to find (Obake_mini, if I'm not mistaken.) Sorry, I have the latest Maxx file but nothing for the Mini.
That's what I need, the Maxx file! Any way you could upload it?

Try these. I think they work for the maxx and mini.
