I brought this new Karbonn Smart Tab 2 and would like to root it.
Please let me know how to root it and install CWM recovery.
I have checked the thread on how to root the Smart Tab 1 but since I brought Tab 2, Can I go ahead and root it using the Tab 1 thread...?

Karbonn Smart tab is rubbish
rooting no clues buddy yet,
karbonn is dead company, nothing works here , I bought a smart tab2 online , which deemed to be a jelly bean , instead i got ICS, where most of the apps don;t work, i went to localy service center , where i came to knopw online stuff don't carry warranty,
I paid to upgrade it to Jelly bean, where few things work for Day 1 , now i see apps cant be moved to SD card, Google + don;t work skype don;t work
MIPS do not support any Browser there in G Play
in shot its rubbish 7K

its too easy bro...use this link to go on this thread,download the latest version of it as 1.6.1 and install in ur phone.u wont need any pc help.nw open tht app and tap on boromir option.

You could Flash a Rom for a other device on yours but it could brick your device it's not recommend, you have to search a Rom made for your device.

It depends on which rom you use.. Also if the developer made it possible but i guess they will do.
If you only root it with Stock ROM, it's just the same way.

Try it yourself, Make a Backup and flash the Omni-ROM, If the S-pen doesn't work or the Multiscreen and your not happy with it, Restore the backup.

Did you take a nandroid back up before flashing? If yes then restore it.
If not , try to flash the stock image .

brother i think u did not got my problem my phone 'samsung galaxy gt7562' is not showing anything it seems to be a case of hard brick no logo no recovery or download odin mode it is reallt irritating

You should use "Search" feature next to avoid duplicated threads.
As far as I know, there is no root solution available for this device as of now.
