personally I wouldn't put any card details into a site you are not familiar with. Your phone carrier normally others that service, that's what I would do. It is a little safer is all.

Sorry, but I closed this thread. There isn't a lot of iPhone unlocking going on here at xda, you may want to try a forum that specializes in the iPhone.
Anyway, if your gut is telling you it is a bad idea...then it is a bad idea!

HELP PLEASE!!
I've had my HTC touch/vogue for some time now and only just realized it was capable of so much more than I thought. I stumbled across this web site and dicovered an Iphone theme that I was interested in through this link http://www.iphonetheme4ppc.com/ I payed for & downloaded it to my PC and then discovered that I'm in way over my head, I don't know what to do next.
Could someone please tell me what I need to do from here??
did you try their install guide? it seems pretty thorough,are there any more specific questions?

Yes I am noob, new to these sites.Thank you to the guys who were actually helpfull with their posts, shabicht inpaticular thank you for the link. With my inexperiance I was unsure of where to appropriatly search for the right info. I figured that being as how I discovered the link on THIS SITE in the first place that I'd start by looking for help on THIS SITE. However all that I received were and very un-helpfull replys,there must be a lot of bored people out there with nothing better to do then to insult someone with little experiance in this area looking for some help.
I only paid $11 for the theme, addmitadly after receiving some actuall helpfull advice from others I did discover that there are better ways to improve my device.
I'm not sure how this site usually works,the site was recomended to me. I'm disapointed to see the amount of rude remarks I received when simply looking for a helping hand.

Wrong thread.. This belongs to General.
And to answer your question - not that I know of. You might try searching google for companies that unlock it, or you can just try calling tmobile and telling them that you are going out of the country for a while, and they will unlock it for you (if you are persistent)

I already know that i can get the unlock code from t-mobile, ebay or the unlocking companies ...
I just saw so many phones that can be unlocked through apps and i thought this might be the same case for G2x

To explain: I've succesfully installed Adroid on my HD2, and wanted to say BIG thanks to all developers involved.. But I can't even find the thanks button!? Nor put any of their links in my sig, so I've been searching and found you have to unlock some features..
Now since I can't find the 'unlock' list, either I'm pretty much blind or somebody thought I need to have a lot of posts/thanks before I can say thanks to somebody else?
And since I'm asking anyways, I hate Paypal.. is there any other way to make a donation? For example a central XDA account which will transfer money to the designated users?

I'm in the same boat as you. I've download Froyo6 into my htc tp2 cdma "Sprint' phone and it works beautifully. I wanted to "high five" the developers as well, but couldn't find the thks button. I sent a donation of $25.00 using my debit card, but I'm not sure if it went thru do to the use of paypal. I HATE PAYPAL AS WELL!!!!
I'm tired of htc deceiving us. They tell us they will unlock our bootloaders on the phones WE pay for and then the unlock doesn't give us access to anything. It's all a lie! So in light of this, I've started a petition regarding this matter. Feel free to check it out and link me to any existing petitions regarding this.
