Hi,
I have a problem with the camera.
I am only able to zoom in to 4MP.
I can't zoom in till 8MP.
How do I fix this?
I always had this problem, with stockrom, customrom.
But I never realized that the camera should be 8MP.
is there a popup appearing?

At the begin, it did. It asked if I want to write to the sd-card or internal storage.
Tried both, didn't work.
So i bet you are on the official Rom? Which version?

I am now on 4.1.2, 4MP
But:
4.2.2: 4MP
Custom ROM: 4MP...
All the ROM's are the same, 4 MegaPixel...
Thats very strange. I've got an i9105p running cm11 build #7 and my mate ownes an i9105p running stock 4.2.2 and both can shoot 8MP pics. Can you provide a Screenshot from your camera options menue?
edit: in fact i think u missunderstand the "4.0" on your screen while zooming. the number shows you the actual zoomlevel and not the quality of your pics.

Camera is ok, but when i switch on video recording, it's zooming ... i'm the only one ?

If you are on 5mp, you can't zoom with the stock apps (cyanogen or stock, both)...
You need to lessen the resolution, in order to zoom...
The lesser the resolution, the greater you can zoom...

Infact in Nokia's latest 43mp release .. You will have to use 5mp to zoom
I installed PACman v18 on my skyrocket and love it. The camera is amazing, but I have found that the video camera does not work. In 1080 I get a "snow screen" and in 720 and 480 I get a message that says the video cannot be played. Is this a known and/or fixable problem? Video is fairly important to me.

we lost the anti-shake feature, the best face feature and etc.
One fix for not having the anti shake feature is to hold the phone very still when using the camera

yea but it's not the same because the camera with the anti-shake option use to be very smooth and responsive but the aosp camera is really sluggish
I take no credits for this app/mod. Found a camera app from lenovo flagship set while searching on xperia z forum which worked perfectly on our device. Takes sharper image than our stock camera and less noise with hdr and many featurea. Also includes it with is super gallery with many effects. You'll truly love it.

Probably just my hyperactive work proxy, but the download link is blocked as "suspicious". I'll just stick to stock.
No problem with download. Will test it.
Be a bit careful with this app. Some users from xperia z reports that this apps request permision for direct phone calls ,http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=44898660&postcount=22 . And one of them reports a threat of trojan in version 3.5 of this app , http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=45232954&postcount=126 .

I was just wondering if anyone knew if there were any 4k Recording apps other than the actual stock rom..? Because im using a Custom Rom and it would be nice to record in 4k with another app that supports it..?
