[Q] JMP v 9 questions, and queries

hi everyone, could not find a thread on this thats why starting it,
FIRST of all hats off to jigar, what an awesome ROM
loving it to the core.

next just wanted to ask whether i can change build.prop( product model) to GT-i9000 using solid explorer, i have JMP v9 with game patch,
i am asking this cause i have seen ppl soft bricking their phones while attempting to do the same on jelly bean
plz clear my doubts.

Bro,
Offcourse you can change it easily but do take a backup first so that you can revert back. I always do this first after booting....
Never got bricked but do not change the finger prints.....

i know that buddy i did it when i was on ics, was working fine, but when i tried doing it after i upgraded to official jb by mmx , phone was soft bricked ( i used es explorer) then i flashed jmp v 9, now my device shows samsung gt-s9081, hence many games in play store are not showing thats y i askd, wheter i can do it in jmp rom, dont wanna reflash rom again, cause i have free version of tb and restoring all the apps one by one is a serious pain in a$$

I know this thats why i do this after my first boot. Be sure for this and change it to what you want.

Hi, if you don't mind having a 4.2 camera app then install the attached through CWMR and it will change your device identity to 'Galaxy Nexus' and Android Version to '4.2'
I don't know how but it does this. Do share your comments if this works for you.
Find the attached screenshot I have just captured.
Note: I am not the creator of this Camera 4.2 patch. I downloaded it from here from one of the threads (which I am not able to recall) and hence giving an open credit to the developer/compiler of the same here and also am thankful to him/her. Do not even know if I am allowed to redistribute it here or not.

Game Killer not Working with Samsung Galaxy S4 Rooted Jelly Bean 4.2.2

Hey guys! I really need help i recently rooted my galaxy s4 and i tried to use the Game Killer Application which is used to edit the values in game. but the problem is even though my phone is rooted it still asks for root privileges and closes on its own and starts again and then disappears on its own again..any help? would be much appreciated. Game Killer is one of the key reason why i rooted my device.. I badly need help with this! so kindly if possible help me out with this. I also tried to contact the developer of the App Game Killer but no reply so far. so kindly help me out with this! TIA!

i have too same problem about game killer.
tried anythings.on 4.4.2 worked game killer 1.9 version but old version.
changed rom version from 4.4.2 to 4.3 and not worked.
from 4.3 to 4.1.2 then worked and i think it problem abour kernek or linux version.
and i have find solution for my Galaxy Note 2 N7100.
flashed AGNİ Kernel and now i use game killer 2.6 version.
and my note2 is klone ime. hasn't problem about imei or signal.

You would like to try using SB Game Hacker or Game Guardian, or simply the problem's just your superuser is not responsive or you didn't get one. Download Chainfire's SuperSU if you don't have now or you don't have any superuser yet.

I also need to know how did you root your device so that I can see if I can check it out. If you rooted your device using TWRP or any recovery, I give up. But you can still re-root your device using Chainfire's SuperSU zips(Unless that is how you rooted your damn device). I don't have the link for his threads but try to search, you'll find him and his threads.

I just bought the KarbonnA12+ from flipkart.com having 4.2.2 JB. The phone is nice. Tried a lot and used a lot of apps to root it.

BUT ULTIMATELY THE APP WHICH WORKED IS
**SRS One Click Android Root**
1. Install the app in ur pc.
2. Run it and select "Smart Root"
1st two exploits will fail but then a white popup will come in the screen, Click BOROMIR and thats it. your done.
REBOOT then!!!!
hAPPY rOOTING
p.s. Please enable usb debigging and enable unknown software install.

Hey, hi... I'm also looking forward to buy the same from flipkart... How's the phone...??? After using a bit... does it hang...Does Google maps work on it properly.... Howz the battery?... If I load it with many apps... does it hang or get slowed down? I want to use it for constant internet connectivity with instant messengers like whatsapp and others... Want to use social networking sites like Facebook and others,... and stay in touch with Google maps... What do you say... should I buy it?

Starting off with the phone is very sleek and light. Till now it hasnt hanged even once. Honestly i am yet to try out the google maps so will post review in a day or two. Battery can be rated 7.5/10 as it gives a healthy amount of service, i used wifi for about 5 hours till it got red. If you load it with many apps then obviously it will get a bit slower as its having armv7 processor wid 512mb ram, try not to overhaul it, Otherwise the phone is pretty nice, sound is ordinary. Whatsapp and facebook works really well without lag. Games are real crisp and smooth, BUT hd games and games which r high end will have some lag but still it does not force close thats the good part.
Especially all of this at this price is a real good deal.
My suggestion u can go ahead and buy it. best of luck with it. Enjoy

i saw in youtube they were playing high end games like real racing 3,asphalt 8. Is it realy capable of playing high end games? I want to buy a budget phone for some gaming. Please suggest me.

A12+ stuck at boot screen
i have A12+ and have rooted it successfully:laugh: but then in hurry i have installed chainfire downloaded long ago which is not compatible with jellybean 4.2.2 and i am stuck in boot screen (the eye) , i have already tried wiping data and cache from recovery and i have not installed cwm i have stock recovery. i could have uninstalled it via adb but 4.2.2 have sideload only hence adb commands are not working adb shell returns error : closed error. now the only option i have is to flash stock rom which i have not backed up so it would be very kind of you to upload it .or i have also read that it could be achieved by installing TWRP recovery and then renaming some files and changing some values from this link http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2560607 , who had similar case like me .so if anyone could provide me the stock rom and preloader drivers it would be very helpful my mobile is just a week old :crying:

Hey Bro´s,
iam here to ask if there is a way to use any tool like Gameguardian, game killer and gameCIH ( Editing Memory from running apps) on our Razr i?
i tried the newest versions but fail..at least iam not at the newest rom from omar iam at a old one, maybe osmeone at a new version could test it...it seems it has permissions problems..but it gets root permissions....
maybe someone can help..

I've tried all versions of SB Gamehacker, Gamekiller, Game CIH, none work for Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge. I Have full root, ran Root Checker everything ok, every other app gets 100% root access, except the game cheat apps. Any advise??

that does not always mean its compatible with your device, it looks like a graphic heavy game, i dont think it will work on your phone.

most likely nothing, your device lacks the hardware to be able to run the game.

you could overclock it but for that you need a custom kernel but i doubt anyone made a kernel for your phone
