Sony's company response to my request of updating or unlocking bootloader - Sony Xperia C

Look what they send me after I send them an email in subject of give an update or at least a unlock bootloader to Sony xperia c:
We value the importance of your concern.
In response to your query we would like to inform you that you cannot root your handset because there is no such policy available for rooting of the handset and Sony does not support rooting the handset. If you will root your device in that case our handset will not be considered under warranty.
Sony just shame on you

WTF Sony! It seems like they don't know the difference between rooting and unlocking bootloader. Shame!

after damaging my xperia c http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2617746 , one thing I learned one thing that this type of cpu(mtk6589) is new and first to their company , so boot-loader will be always locked, and new version of flashtool could flash that F***ed version of xperia.

[Q] Unlock Sony Xperia J

Hello,
I am new to Sony products and before I make steps of unlocking the phone I would like to know what exactly to read. The problem is that I have a brand new Sony Xperia J which is locked to a certain mobile operator. What should I do to unlock it? Should I do anything with the bootloader or anything else? If anyone can provide me a valid link to read about that would be great.
I appologize once again for the newbie question.
Regards to all determined to help.

No worries.
That's because some carriers have made the bootloader unlockable and there is currently no way to get around it.,
However look at this
http://unlockbootloader.sonymobile.com/
and you can see that Sony is not the OEM of the year (As voted by XDA members) for several years on the trot for no reason.
They actively help xda devs. They give instructions on their own website on how to unlock the bootloader (On sim free devices and devices from carriers such as Vodafone UK who do not lock down the bootloader) and even give devices for free to devs (Adam Outler being one) so that people can work it.

Unlocking Bootloader and Rooting are two different things but Rules and Regulations consider them in same category. They are same according to Rules but in real they are two totally different things.

according to sony if you root the device ....the low light performance of the device will hurt alot..... the bad news is .... the device isn't very popular so not worthy enough developer's support is available at the moment.....and i doubt it will ever be available .... may be in next four months.... so all n all ..... you n i we are stuck ........ if you still root it you can enjoy cm12 but in alpha right now but then again camera issue..... ... son y will update z3 with lilipop in march or april i think ..... there is not much customization available at the moment ...unfortunately
