[Guide][FIX] OTA Updater MD5 Error! :) - Android General

Hello, last time i was having issues with OTAupdater app, when i try to update it shows me md5 error, i tried searching the thread and requested for help but no luck.! Now i have find a way to fix this problem its very simple
You only have to upload your Update to Dev Host and after that dev host automatically tells you the md5 of that zip file, now goto the otaupdater site and sign in now goto add you rom and fill the forum
in the download link just to this
Open your update file (You uploaded in Dev Host) you will get the md5 of the zip and the download link button. Just click on Download button and Cancel the download You just need the direct URL to your ZIP so copy that download link and paste it in Form
for MD5 fill it with the md5 that dev host shows you!

FUS Firmware Downloader

I found this small utility to query and download firmware's from fus.samsungmobile.com. We have to Enter all inputs like CSC, PDA, Phone, Suffix, Nation Code and Phone Model to download firmware's. I can guess all inputs except "Suffix". I don't know what suffix is. We can download firmwares with suffix code. Explore and post your result.

U need to have the exact fus link URL and the decryption key, because firmwares are encrypted on fus.
You guys should try my app Check Fus. It works in the same way as that app. It gives you the url and decryption key to latest firmware available published to Kies. If you got a rooted phone all needed info will be filled in automatically. check it out here

^^^^Request2 Devs:Adding Recovery Records To ROM.zip Files^^^^^

*********************Request to all dear Devs when uploading new update/[NEW ROM] or any big *.zip file please Add Recovery Records in it . its not possible for us to download file again and again if found an crc/volume/etc error in that zip **********************
I get an error like "CRC failed in file name. The file is corrupt"!
File data are corrupt. Archive may be damaged after creation. In this case it is sometimes possible to repair it if it has the recovery record.
It also could have been broken while creating, due to hardware failures (usually caused by an over-clocked CPU or unreliable memory).
In the latter case the recovery record will not help. The only way to detect if the repair will help is to try to apply the repair command to the archive and test the results.
Here is the tutorial to add Recovery records

[Q] Downloading from Dev-host

How do you download from dev-host?
Every time I try to download a file I either get a page refresh, or it downloads a file different from the size it should be.
Attached below are the steps I take to download. And the resulting incorrect file.
Step 1) Click "download", "download now" button does not work.
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",
"lightbox_stop_slideshow": "Stop slideshow",
"lightbox_full_screen": "Full screen",
"lightbox_thumbnails": "Thumbnails",
"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
Step 2) Get redirected.
Step 3) Click download again. (this is normally a virus if you have to click download twice)
Step 4) Get downloaded file that is not the file described on page from step 1.
I found this file from a how to install guide on XDA, from a certified XDA person.

Edit:
I am on a Mac using Safari. I created a VM and used firefox and that worked just fine with the "Download Now" button.
