[SOLVED]Lost Root access after nadroid restore . - General Questions and Answers

Hi folks , lost your root access after a Android backup ???
No need to root again and again ...
If you are using Superuser app just flash the below package for regaining root permissions.
Recommended for Samsung devices . Aldo works with other devices .
This package only upgrade your su binary and reinstall superuser app .
Code:
1 . Reboot into any custom rcovery like cwm .
2 . Flash the below package .
3 . [COLOR="Green"]Reboot and enjoy with root access. [/COLOR]
4 . Click thanks button or rate this thread .
What are you waiting for ? Do this and save your time

Thanks!

Can you flash any superuser file in recovery to regain root? E.g. could one also flash SuperSU in TWRP to regain root?
---------- Post added at 01:07 AM ---------- Previous post was at 12:58 AM ----------
Hijacking the topic a bit, can you lose s-off by restoring a nandroid backup?

My superSU need to update binary, and i choose normal instead TWRP, but after reboot, my aplication like TE and Titanium backup can't get root access.
How to solve it? Should i to reroot again?

Im just redownload superuser apps and its working

Who has the same problem?
Hi!
I'm new on this forum and may on the wrong place but I ask your help rooting my Xperia C1505 single card phone.
Last year I could root it untill I updated the OS from the Sony site and since then I can't
do the rooting. I've tried a lot of ways what I found in the internet (EMMA, One click
rooting, etc,), all the Framaroot from the earliest to the latest too, but non of them was succesful.
The Framaroot says "Error #7". My phone has: Android 4.1.1, Kernel 3.4.0-perf, Build 113.A.2.23
I hope someone has the solution.
Thanx for your help!

Thankx for your help but this 1.4.1 didn't work. I followed the instruction. Neihter SuperSU nor Superuser was succesful.
I tried both exploit (Aragon and Gandalf). It says "Faild - Try an other exploit if available!"
Maybe you have some other way.
Thanx again

Backup needed?
I'm pretty new to this matter, so excuse me if I ask stupid questions... Do you recommend a backup before running the app or is it not necessary? also, do I need a program to do a proper backup or do I just copy-paste card and phone memory into my pc and then copy-paste it back? Can a rooted device be connected to a pc or will this crash the phone?
Also when I tried to download framaroot I was asked to complete a survey - yes the kind of surveys that charge you an amount of money per week - is there any way to get past it? I don't want an untrusted source to get my phone number. Although they say you can cancel any time, I don't trust this kind of activities...
However, older versions, 1.9.0 and below are available w/o survey (idk if they ask for one when you run it). Should I opt for an older version? Is this ok?

Just Google for the latest version of the Framaroot, it's every where on the net, you don't have to get it from the web asking to complete the surveys.
Rooting by Framaroot is very safe. Backup isn't necessary as far as I did. My device status in still OFFICIAL upon rooted by it.

Easily Root Micromax Canvas 2.2 A114 using PC.

Here's a 100% working method of rooting Micromax Canvas A114. I bought this phone today and after a few hit & trials found out that this is the only method to root this amazing device. Framaroot, Binary Tools and SRS Root did not work. This method is not as quick as Framaroot and it requires a PC but it's quite simple.
All you have to do is download the 2 files from these links:
1. http://d-h.st/okL
2. http://d-h.st/jll
and install them on your PC. Then turn on the USB Debugging option in your phone and connect it to the PC. Make sure that no other phone is connected to your computer. Then run Root Genius on your pc, it will automatically identify your phone. Then just follow the on screen instructions. Click on Restore Data on the phone if prompted during the rooting process. After 100% rooting procedure is complete, you'll find KingUser app in your app drawer. Then reboot your phone (not necessary but recommended). Your phone is now rooted. Enjoy.
The process usually takes about 10-15 minutes & restarts your phone multiple number of times , so there's no need to panic.

Plz don't quote the main post. You are posting a reply that itself implies that you are replying to the main post, so there's no need to quote it. It takes necessary bandwidth for those users who are on 2G.
There's an option to unroot it in the KingUser app. On a safer side you can always take titanium backup of all the data and format the phone before handing it to the service center coz they will format it anyways. (BTW I don't think the Micromax service center guys even know what root is, I got all my services done while using custom roms in my Canvas 2)

Xperia M2 Root
There is a guide for rooting the Xperia M2, its called Towel Root . Its easy and it only takes 2-3 minutes to root, I did it on my M2 and it works fine
I unlocked bootloader and after that I downloaded Towelroot. Now it works perfect.
Towelroot works. I suspect that some just install the app, but then don't execute it.
After executing it no need to reboot. Install FlashgordonBB, unselect it's safemode, install SuperSU-v1.99.zip with it, reboot with the phone (not through Flashgordon) ... and enjoy.

I’m curious, is there any reason/benefit to using this Flash Gordon app to install the SuperSU zip as opposed to just using the steps provided by CeBits on the root guide:
How to get the latest SuperSU to avoid the update prompt
First uninstall the SuperSU downloaded from the PlayStore.
1. Visit Chainfire's SuperSU threat here on XDA
2. Scroll down and find the "CWM / TWRP / MobileODIN installable ZIP" download link
3. Download the file and extract it to your phone/PC
4. Once extracted, you will find the latest "superuser.apk" inside the "Common" direcroty
5. Transfer and install the APK file on your phone
Or are both methods basically just the same?
