THL T5s mic problem - General Questions and Answers
Hello to everybody,
I'll get straight to the point.
On all THL t5s devices I've seen so far there is almost no volume in the recorded videos. It seems that something makes the microphone of the device react like as if you're having a phone call. So, if you put the phone near your mouth (like when having a call) the sound recorded in the video is just great...but in bigger distance ...there is no sound at all.
I think it's a rom problem or something with the kernel but i'm not so sure about it cause i'm not so expert yet!
I've tried using mobileuncle, and another recording app...but the same thing. So i think it's a software error!!!
Right now there is no other T5s available rom on the internet to have a try than the original one...so how could we change that?!
Do you think that i could try the THL T5 rom instead ?(t5 is a former dual core model, t5S is quad core)? i think that's not possible but i wanted to ask someone who knows better than me!

Have you found a solution? Please share if you did! This is bugging me too... Don't know should I return the phone or not :/
No i havent found anything yet ...no one helped me around ... But i think its a rom problem... Im trying to find out how to port a rom from another... I have asked people with the miui rom (in russian forum) but got no answer... Propably my russion is not so good!!!

I think i've read your settings in myphone.gr i've tried some and saw some difference indeed... Its not something great but it makes some difference.

I want to order also 2 pieces (any recommandation for a shop ?), but I dont want to get the same dillema as with HDC S3 i9300 EX: GPS still NOT working . So my only important question would be: Does the GPS work fine or is it true, that HDC is not able to solve this problem for all theyr phones?? thanks a lot

Innumerable emails after receipt concerning not working GPS were ignored by them - never again with this company !! But hopefully you are luckier than I was - and hopefully GPS works fine with this phone...

Did you managed to root it,did you find any roms?what about your battery life and GPS.

I will have to order today, as a friend of mine (he is currently in Shanghai) will bring the mobile with one - therefore I have to order today, otherwise he will not receive it in time..... Hi everybody!, I've bought this cellphone from dhgate.com. I've receive it last Wednesday and It is an awesome device for being so cheaper, it only cost me $199. I have root it, I'm using it as my main device in my daily life, and I have found this disadvantages so far: * GPS doesn't work * This cellphone only works with 850/2100 mhz for WCDMA, so I have to use it in EDGE mode. It moves very fast with the MT6589 quad-core and 1GB RAM. Battery Life is a very good point for this device, and it counts with a 12,6 MP front camera. It is a good device and really looks like the real SGS4 . Byeee :good:
Poor GPS
I have a unit of Mi4 WCDMA. It takes a few minutes to fix gps. But when the unit is brought into a car, the GPS signals gone very poor. Considered unusable. Not sure if it is a hardware or issue to MIUI.

Same Issue with my Mi4W, it wasn't like this at the beginning (outside fix was good and inside the car usable at the beginning), but after 4 month and some OTA update (I'm using the global ROM), gps is unusable in the car and still ok outside (but weaker than the redmi note 2 from my girlfriend...). Did you guys solve your Issues ? when I use "GPS test" app with both Mi4W and redmi note 2, GPS fix is really different.

Hi everyone. I am George. Here's my problem... I have a Sony xperia z2 smartphone and also a Sony SmartWatch 3. Everything is good except for the fact of my Bluetooth headset. I have used many devices (just earphones, single bt earphone and dual bt earphone) but my problem was that I could not carry them all the time due to my job. I got to the conclusion that what suits me best is something like huawei talkband b1 or dream link etc. Now I have this question. Can I use at the same time the SmartWatch and the talkband? Recording sound fix

Popup camera don't open
Hi all, Just go my Poco F2 Pro today, and i'm unable to use the popup camera. When I try to calibrate it, the phone tells me that he could not calibrate. I hear the sound of the little engine though... Any helps is appreciated. Do I have to return it ? Thanks.
