Just a month ago, I flashed a custom rom of Xperia Z in my Xperia J . It all booted and worked perfectly .
Then I saw another thread of some other rom of Xperia Z and as I flashed ArcS.img file it just won't boot up . . .
I red a lot of threads sayin charge your battery to it's fullest , I charged it for about 5-6 hours but it won't charge at all. Just, when I try turn on my device a red light notification light at the top blinks for three time. It's not working and not booting . If it can boot then I can flash another steock rom in it, but my problem is it's not booting up. And I also tried to flash it but my computer won't recognize my device .
Please don't tell to connect 'coz it's just not recognizing my device .
Please Help. . . My warranty period has lost . . .
I think I've hard-bricked my device . . .
r u trolling?why the heck u flash xperia z rom on xperia j?dont know wether u are totally noob or totally expert..

My Xperia can boot into recovery all right but it doesnt turn on in NORMAL mode . When I press the power button the SONLY LOGO comes up and then the phone turns off.
I had to repair it using PC Companion. Can you tell what the problem is . I changed the model number in build.prop too but it didnt help.
Can you please provide a working CWM for Xperia J ?
Need it urgently for installing CM10.

same problem, but i try to use Sony update service and restore my phone to normal, it's easy to use is working only your phone is off, sry for my bad english
before instal CWM you need to unlock bootloader

that cwm only works on .18 & .28 fw. thats why most people like me with unlockable bootloaders are stuck on primitive stock fw no one has developed a proper cwm for locked bootloaders yet
I didn flash any rom or kernel recently . After i turn off my phone , i noticed that i cant boot my phone (even fastboot or cwm ) . When i on my phone , it didn show any led light or vibrate . I also charged my phone overnight and remove the battery for a few hours . Can anyone help

reflash stock ftf using flashtool...
or many your phone battery was spoiled

Im facing the same problem few days ago , my miro (no vibrate,no led , no cwm , no fastboot ,no flashmode )
I also overcharged for few times , my phone still no reaction .
Due to desperation, i leave my phone idle for about 4-5 days to let my battery completely dead , and after that when i connect my phone with charger , it start charging :laugh:

flash firmware but not in usual way
remove mobile's battery
open flashtool and begin flashing
then without battery go in flashmode by connecting usb when flashtool prompts you, but do not remove your finger
then install battery and remove your finger from flashmode button

Uhm, try flashing the stock ftf file using flashtool.:cyclops:

As far as i know, your partitions will be all messed up.
I guess all recoveries have recovery.fstab. All mountpoints should exist in this file and it is crucial this information be correct or else very bad things can happen, such as a recovery flash writing to the wrong location.
I don't think you will have any success with it, but still try flashing the ftf file

wmshua alway flash failed after 10 % 16.0.b.2.16
sony pc companion detecting but not shwng of update , also try like first slect repair option then connect xperia c but this also not working so cant updating device from sony pc companion also
try also on another pc but failed ...
but still geting green light when pressing vol down key n connecting xperia c to pc ..
is there any hope ??? or any other way ???

Try this first :
Open Sony PC Companion, and select the very first option (Support Zone), then the last option (Repair device) and there select Xperia C (do not connect your phone until here), now after selecting Xperia C when PC Companion asks you to connect your device, now connect your device and make sure you are continuously pressing the Volume Down Key (it will come written there and pics will also be there) and then wait till it detects your device. Then PC Companion will repair your device.
If this does not help then try method given on THIS thread.
If nothing helps then you have to go to Service Centre.
Connect your phone to the computer, Reboot into CWM , then in advanced, select mount USB. thats it.
Or just use a card reader and place the rom in ur SD card.

I had tried to update through Sony pc companion but as the update begins, after 10 sec it shows error message......
And whenever i use wmshua it jst stops at 10% on flashing firmware for xperi c.......

Do one thing download the correct ftf of your phone and flash it from flashtool

Phone model?
Xperia c 2305 I was able to boot in cwm and tried to flash stock rom again it shows error
i broke the display of my sony experia z1 c6902 and while replacing the display i accidentally dropped 1-2 very very small drops of water .. so now the phone is dead .. it shows only charging % while charging and dead while it is not on charging ( it vibrates 3 times when i turn it on while charging ).. so i used my hair dryer on it but it didnt help.. and then i tried to flash stock rom but i flashed stock rom of sony Xperia c6903 by mistake using flash tools in flash mode ..(i didn't even noticed) (it stop at 1%) then i went to local repair shop they heated it up as per my request ..again i flashed stock rom of c6903(still didnt noticed mine is c6902)( it stoped at 1% again) .. now it is completely dead.. no more charging indicator no vibrations nothing , pc wont recognize it , no connection in flash mode.. now i have downloaded stock rom of c6902 but the phone is dead .. what should i do?
p.s- i just tried to connect to pc in flash mode but some how it connected in fast boot mode! i have never rooted it .. and i used down volume key while connecting .. i dont want to **** up anymore plz help me..my phone was running on lolipop update which i received it using sony pc companion.
