hi everyone just to let people know that the chinese device "china" star note 3 N8000 MTK 6582 is compatable with the latest version of LMT launcher...and as per all info your device must be rooted first before installation.
if anyone is a noob to android devices,(and i know i am as i have just been gifted my first ever smart phone this feb),and you need help with rooting your chinese device then head on over to "youtube" for some excellent tutorials.
the most helpful and clearest tutorial i found was by "ITXtutor" who has his own website dedicated only to chinese devices,(although they do sometimes help with other types),titled "Chinadevices" and his tutorials cover most problems and software including..rooting,CWM,flashing ROM..etc,etc....
And finaly may i point out that the latest version of "LMT launcher" is extreeeemly user friendly and of course i must give a big shout to XDA's very own "noname81" who took the time to give us all the LMT launcher info...have a great day.
and in the famous words of spock...."live long and prosper"...peace out

Hi guys!
Since I didn't find any review to the "A9 NEC RENESAS EMMA V2 Dual Core Android 2.2 Tablet" offered in the (german) cect-shop, I was wondering whether someone already bought and tried it. Specs are quite nice, IMHO and videos on youtube look promising. Can someone share his experience with that tablet?
Thanks in advance.

Hi,
I personally have the device and the experience so far has been good using the device.
There is a whole bunch of information over at slatedroid page where there is a group of active users.
Sorry but my post is very little so you have to head over at slatedroidpage, please replace the dots with "."
www dot statedroid dot com/forum/204-rena/
Perhaps someone wants to start a thread over at this page? Hopefully some XDA developer over here owns the device and we can get things started
overall the device has received 3 firmware upgrades so far and the community is hopeful for gingerbread to be released for this. We do have the kernel source codes for this product but do not have any developers to help us out with getting gingerbread out yet for this.
also replace statedroid with "slatedroid"
I also don't purchase this tablet, but i purchase flytouch 3 from a china site, called mcbub.com,i find they have the A9 NEC renesas tablet, here is some review in their site:
http://www.mcbub.com/customer-revie...GB-Bluetooth-HDMI-MID-black-CN101769--136318/
hope this can help you.

full root for Rena 3
Greetings, comrades!
All the usual, lazy engine of progress. Tired of doing manually as rooting and rebuild the firmware for Rena, i am wrote a script that works like a flash, but flash itself is not working, just do it root! =)
Thus, the universal root for any firmware Rena 3:
Install:
Unzip all the files and qroot directory to root SD card.
Turn off the device.
Turn on, hold VOL+ POWER.
Wait until the message "Well done. Root complete."
Reboot device, enjoy.
The necessary files and directories:
install.sh
uImage4
ff4
cramfs4
sdboot.bin
uboot-sd.bin
and directory /qroot
NOTE!
The update does not repartition and reformat the partitions do not.
Is provided as is, no guarantees and responsibility.
Everything you do, you do at your own risk.

Hi there
The first thing you have to do before even start to look at how you want your mobile to look like is to Root it. By Rooting it you'll open up heaven's gate's in the Android world such as installing custom Roms, top notch apps, control your mobile and not your mobile control you, etc.
You really want to have a look at this link especially at what MoH21 comments and teaches for he is showing you how to Root your mobile. I cannot stress enough for you to read and read and read very well until you're sure of what you're doing.
Here's the link: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1727636
After that you can then start looking for proper custom Roms for your mobile and do the next steps like *Bootloader Unlock *CWM Install
...all of them are important and sometimes depending on which method of Root you choose (or have available really) the CWM comes included...
TIP: search in the Forum for a method to see if your Bootloader is locked or unlocked as that's crucial to know.
*for you to Google search.
Don't forget to thank me and MoH21 also for his tutorial

I tried that .... but...it doesn't work.maybe An other tutorial may help me...
Hello to all Pipo Max M9 users and generaly Rockchip RK3188 processor users.
I tried so hard to find a way to root my Pipo Max M9 after the last upgrade firmware, from original Pipo support site, that was not rooted. Until now (even with the stock firmware) in every android device I had, I was making the root with "Unlock Root" software for windows with one click. At this time It was not possible to do the root via this software.
After a hard try I found the right and easy way to make my tablet be rooted without install other firmwares or custom roms as other solutions needed.
I post it at xda developers cause I trust it very much and it is the first place that I look to find solutions on my problems. I think that many users do the same.
The easiest and "clean" way is describing at:
blog .geekbuying . com / index.php/2013/03/14/how-to-root-rockchip-rk3188-quad-core-device-like-cube-u30gt-2-pipo-m9/#.Us_XzdJdUYs
(Delete the spaces. I done it that way cause I have not already post 10 posts to be accepted to present links)
Happy Rooting! :victory:
This work is not mine.
I re-posted here from Geek Gadgets Blog and from the post of Eric
All thanks to him that helped me too!

I recently rooted my Samsung S plus with Kitkat OS.My phone was really slow and buggy with gingerbread OS but it feels like it drank some Redbull . It is really easy to root your device and flash a custom ROM onto it
I need contributers writing new tutorials, you will even get paid, once the site starts, you will get the advertising revenue of your post.
Hello All,
Long time lurker but finally I have not been able to find a solution to my problem.
I made the mistake of purchasing a Y511-T00 on a recent trip to china after quickly reading the box which said WCDMA. There was a sticker on the side however that said TD-SCDMA. Anyway finally home I realise no 3G. Which I can live with 90% of my time online is via wifi and mobile wifi device.
The issue has come now where I need to get a better ROM for the phone. I have some half baked english rom that is laggy and does not save credentials for facebook etc. In fact I am at a point where I would not mind getting the Huawei stock with emotion UI. The details of the phone are as follows
Model Number : HUAWEI Y511-T00 (China Mobile)
Android version : 4.2.2
Baseband version MOLY.WR8.W1319.MD.TG.MP.V4.P18 , 2013/07/31 15:37
Kernel Version 3.4.5
Build Number : Y511-U30V100R001C328B120
Hardware version : VER.A
If anyone can assist with a guide on how to change the rom and maybe confirm if i can use the y511-u00 roms as I need something in english I would greatly appreciate it. Also any directions to a forum for support for this phone with other users in English would be great
Thanks so much
