I am using Moto g-Xt-1033, unlocked bootloader, rooted.. and also installed xposed framework.. I want to change my default battery icon to circle type with percentage on it... I tried several modules and gravity box also.. but nothing helps.. Kindly help..
using some app for this?
I think Power Toggles can do what you want, it's free and customizable
I can use..but I don't want two battery icons wasting my notification area. No way to hide the default battery icon?

Are you talking about having the battery percentage with the icon on the status bar? Stock Android (and in this case mostly stock) doesn't have that option. You can use what I use, power toggles, to have it pinned on the left side of the status bar. Not the greatest set up but for now it's all we got. Another reason why I really hope we see an unlocked boot loader so we can get some roms that will have this feature. :good:
Or you can two finger swipe down on the notification bar and it will show your percentage

Yes, that's what I was talking about... I added power toggles and put up top. Thanks
Has anyone figured how to get these two modules to play nicely together?
Problem is the following below.
I use Xblast to change all my status icon colors, including the clock. But whenever you then load up MotoXposed, the clock and only the clock gets reset to holo blue. I would just not use MotoXposed, but i need that wifi spacing fix and the ATT carrier logo GONE. It annoys the heck out of me.
I got rid of Xposed and xblast on my DroidMaxx and only using GravityBox

Cam GravityBox fix the wifi icon spacing, color the navbar and STatusbar icons and get rid of the carrier text?

No

Use Modaco Tools to get rid of the carrier label. It's buried under HTC One options, but I can confirm it works on the X as well.
Xposed and gravity box works well together ..the only thing so far is the flashlight toggle causes a softboot
Sa sens le Rooting icite !!
I cannot get signal bars to change with gravity.

Obviously Xposed and GravityBox work well together. I'm trying to get the Wifi spacing fix from MotoXposed, and everything else from GravityBox--which I can't do; I lose the QS tiles from GravityBox.
I am looking for an app for my rooted Nexus 5 - 4.4.2 wich can change the battery icon in % ...
However i cannot use this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2516913
Due to custom launcher i think the text over the battery doesnt desplay even if its below 50%
Im looking for an battery icon with COLORED text, not only white...
Can anyone suggest any? Or similar app that can override the app icon..
Xposed + GravityBox is what you want
I'm trying to get the AOSP battery icon instead of the Sony one. I've tried GravityBox, which works to add the AOSP icon, but Sony's one is still there. I know I can disable it in settings but it still shows on the lock screen and when the notification pane is down. Is there any other way to change/remove Sony's battery icon?
Not Optimal... But it works!
So I am figuring you are trying to do this because you got gravity box and when you apply a battery icon it adds it alongside the stock one but doesn't replace it... So there three easy steps to get rid of it! First of all in the settings search for personalization, system icons and untick battery... this will get rid of the battery in the status bar when it is NOT pulled down; then go to the xposed app and download a module called clean lock screen, activate it and tick the option for the removal of the status bar icons... this will get rid of it in the lock screen BUT it will also remove the gravity box one and the WiFi and data signal icons... and lastly, download a module from the xposed installer called android N-ify, this will add some awesome features like the double-tap recents to go to last applications and yata yata but most important thing is that this will customize your notification and quick toggle panel and it by default hides battery... so reboot and your stock battery should be successfully hidden!! I know your question is kinda old by now but I just got back to stock marshmallow in my z3 and was struggling with this same exact problem and this was the best solution I was able to find for this!
Can anyone advise me as to how I would change the battery icon on stock rooted MM?
I've tried Gravity Box and a number of other xposed modules but nothing seems capable of changing the standard battery icon in the status bar!
Any advise greatly appreciated.
I just want to change the battery icon to a circle battery with the percent in the middle
Thanks

Stock Aosp /GPE - Gravity Box
Stock HTC Sense - Xtended Settings
This should have gone into Q&A, not Themes and apps.
