Well, hello everyone
I was hoping it would not come to this, but this is a dire emergency. I am sort of new to this as well.
My Droid Razr M or (xt907) was boring so I rooted it. After doing so I wanted to look through some settings and stuff to see what it could do. I tried to add partitions to my sd card along the line and when I did so I must have chosen the wrong place, even though it said SD and it did not crash when i did whatever it was. I was using an app to make partitions I forget the name, but when I did so it asked to restart and after it did it showed the AP fastboot Flash mode screen
this is what it shows exactly...
-------------------------------------------------------------------
Device is LOCKED, Status Code: 0
Battery OK
Transfer mode:
USB Connected
Failed to hab check for gpt_main: 0x35
Failed to hab check for gpt_backup: 0x35
failed to load GPT
CID Read Failure
Invalid CID status 0x69
No SP partition found
-----------------------------------------------
I have no clue what to do, and I really need my phone. I dont have any knowledge of android programing.
Someone please just help me.

I have tried to update my droid with update.zip. It failed with a weird message, smth like could not update modem (the phone was ok before)
Now i got mass of downloaded files, like rsdlite and two sbfs
VRZ_A956_2.4.33_1FF_01.sbf and DROID2WE_X6_2.4.29_FULL.sbf
both stop at 100% and i get a popup message telling new device is found QHSUSB_DNLD or something like that. I've checked ALL motorola drivers (5.2.x update) for subject of this string with the hardware id of PID_9008 but i have found nothing! It just simply DOES NOT exit!
I have found proper dirvers, it looks like MSM6600 default drivers. So when RSD switched to BP mode it won't see anything, tho i get the drivers running and in the device manager i clearly see smth like Qualcomm ..Download 9008 but the RSDLite keeps searching and fails to process - Phone disconnected...
So, maybe anyone here got the same problem or has a clue of how to get rid of bootloader screen? Wiping cache, erasing to factory does nothing, I don't just get what this rsdlite wants? which device appears when it switched to BP download mode? Isn't it the one i get?
I have tried 3 PC, 2xXP and 1xWIN7 so it's NOT the PC's fault.
RSDLite is 5.4.5 - latest, the drivers - latest!
Please guys, need your input!
EDIT: I have joined only 3 files: CG05, RDL1.smg and RDL3.smg to test faster - it will immediatelly switch to BP mode, so no need to erase or reflash whole device. Will upload to rapidshare if anyone wants to test.

This nice manual, does not help either
http: //droid.koumakan. jp/wiki/SBF
Try http://www.droidforums.net/forum/droid-2-global-hacks/170060-tool-ezsbf-d2g.html — this is a bootable CD image (which can be also used with a USB stick) that performs the task.
Note: 2.4.29 is the recommended (at least by me, after quite some experience) image; it's best to update to 2.4.330 OTA.
Thank you.
But here is the fact:
"If you already use Linux as your OS of choice you can flash with your current system, grab sbf_flash and the SBF file then simply cd to where you put the files, then:
chmod +x sbf_flash
./sbf_flash filename.sbf"
I have Linux Ubuntu and i have tried it already. No use.
“No use” doesn't quite describe the problem, to be honest.

Ok it will flash it flawlessly, no problem. But it does not flash the BP module. It just ignores the fact that in package there are AP and BP firmwares, so sbf_flash will flash only the AP part.

I am not yet able to help but at least i can give an answer that will probably point into the right direction.
What actually happens:
Droid 2 Global has 2 CPUs : OMAP (AP) & Qualcomm(BP)
At some reason the update via sdcard or failed sbf flashing in BP mode erases the BP content and fails to write the new data into the nand/emmc(whatever), so Qualcomm will jump into Emergency download more each time the RSDLite will try to switch to BP mode, thus you will see the QHSUSB_DLOAD device (COM PORT actually) that's it.
The chip is CDMA1x QSC6085 so it barely has any security on board, making it possible to use any Qcom flasher compatible with the chip and + ramdownloader.
What to do:
Get a qualcomm flasher (PSAS or other tools)
Get a ramdownloader (boot loader) for the 6085 (can be found, for older phones)
Extract the original SBF file content and use the *.mbn files and flash it.
This way may help.

First and foremost, this belongs in the q&a section. Is your phone an MB865, an ME865, is it AT&T branded? Have you tried uninstalling then reinstalling the Motorola drivers on your PC? Tried a different USB port and/or another PC? Can you give a little more information? Awesome sound effects, by the way.lol

Yeah, I was kidding. This site can be too serious at times. I know you said you tried everything, but a lot of people say that and it isn't always true, especially when they ask questions on the same day they became a member. I wasn't trying to offend you or insinuate anything. I asked if you had an AT&T branded phone because I was curious as to why you wanted to flash to 2.3.5 then ota to 2.3.6 then ota again to 4.0.4 instead of using this:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1961310
to go straight to 4.0.4?
So your PC isn't detecting your phone, but ONLY when in fastboot mode, correct? Is the phone detecting the PC? By that I mean, on my phone when I boot into fastboot mode, at first it says:
AP Fastboot Flash Mode (S)
0A.72
Battery OK
OK to Program
Connect USB
Data Cable
Then when I connect it to the PC it changes to:
AP Fastboot Flash Mode (S)
0A.72
Battery OK
OK to Program
Transfer Mode:
USB Connected
Are you at least getting that?

wot motorola driver ..?? i have installed moto device manager and it is not showing any thing connected.. because it remain in boot mode..:crying::crying::crying::crying::crying::crying::crying:
Use Virtual PC
I still have the same issue. I have installed Windows 7 on VM Ware workstation i.e virtual desktop and then followed the below steps :-
-Reboot your Virtual PC
-Install Motorola drivers.
-Reboot your computer
-Install RSD Lite
-Reboot your computer
-Boot your phone into Fastboot mode
-Connect your phone to your computer using a high-quality (preferably OEM) cable.
-Let your PC install any necessary drivers. When it finishes it should tell you that the device "Fastboot Edison S" is ready for use.
-Turn your phone off, disconnect the cable
-Reboot your computer
-Boot your phone back into Fastboot mode
-Wait a couple seconds then connect your phone to your computer
-Wait a couple more seconds, then look at the bottom text that's displayed on your phone. It should say
This means that your phone is connected to your computer.
-Open up RSD Lite
-Wait a couple seconds. At the top of the list should be your phone (under model it should say "Fastboot Edison S")
-If you've done all this and everything has worked out for you, flash the fxz! Make sure to follow the instructions in the noob thread as specifically as possible

This seems to be happening more lately. it IS a driver issue of some sort, that is for sure. I would just use one of the scripts, or moto-fastboot manually. they do the same thing as rsd but through command line either with your own typing, or a .bat script.
This may also work better in linux, so you can try downloading a live cd/usb of ubuntu and seeing if it is recognized. no need for drives with linux, just download one of the scripts that includes the moto-fastboot utility. Let me know if you need more help.

Hi everyone,
I have received my new Idol 3 4.7 (6039Y, european version) yesterday. I was stupid enough to apply all proposed updates before reading the forums thoroughly, so I got stuck with a 01005 build, with fastboot disabled.
I followed petrov.0’s guide to restore fastboot: http://forum.xda-developers.com/idol-3/development/6039-guide-how-to-return-fastboot-t3201077 or at least I tried.
I chose the files for "6039Y (repartitioned by following the repartitioning guide)" in the hope that it would save me some further work. QFIL seemed happy, but on restart, there was a message complaining about something like "unencryption failed", then saying that it was necessary to wipe the memory and perform factory reset. Then the phone spent some time wiping the data, and reboot took me to the stock recovery with a big nasty red error message.
So I used Alcatel Mobile Upgrade to restore the stock system, which went fine, but I was still stuck with a 01005 build. Then I tried again to follow petrov.0’s instructions, now using the files for "6039Y (8GB stock partition sizes)". According to QFIL's log, all went fine (except it waited forever in the final step, after the phone rebooted).
Once rebooted, the phone works ok, "adb devices" lists the phone, but "fastboot devices" still doesn’t.
Does anyone have the same problem? Any idea on how to solve it?
P.S.: this is my first post so I can't reply to petrov.0’s thread, and I couldn't find a Q&A thread on this subject, so here it is.
Fastboot -i 0x1bbb devices should be the right syntax. You have to directly adresy the devices by add “-i 0x1bbb“. Next zimě try to use search and read a little before posting stupid questions.

No need to be rude : of course, I also tested the "fastboot -i 0x1bbb devices" with no more success.
(AFAIK, the -i option is just a filter: am I wrong?)
Turns out I was even more stupid than DallasCZ thought: my problem was that I used the fastboot commands in recovery mode rather than fastboot mode!
In case anyone as dumb as I passes by: use "adb reboot-bootloader" before trying any fastboot command.
And I confirm that the phone is NOT listed if I omit the -i option. The man page is really not clear about that: maybe the XDA-University guide about fastboot http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2277112 could mention this kind of quirk?
Sorry for the noise.
I really have failed to restore fastboot commands using @petrov.0 's guide.
The problem I had having failed at flashing a modified OTA update file...well to cut a long story short I resorted to using Alcatels Mobile Upgrade Q 4.9.2 to fix my phone. I have no windows so was running the program on Linux host using VirtualBox. After loads of trouble with the drivers with 64 bit windows XP finally got everything to work using Windows 7.
I thought it would now be simple to restore fastboot commands using QFIL and to get my awesome 16GB internal memory back but despite phone definitely being in download mode and the phone showing up as Android HS-USB QDLoader 9008 on COM6 and QFIL automatically choosing COM6 etc and following everything in the guide as it should be I got an error when I hit the download button. Something about the phone not being in Firehose mode. I tried again and this time the error was about Sahara.
Anyone have any ideas?! Is it perhaps just not possible through Virtualbox?
Please help me! I want my 16GB internal memory back!
(phone is 6039Y-2AALWE7 and Upgrade Q updated it from 1AB2AZ22 to 1AJEAZE0)
fastboot - no permisions
deleted - found a simple solution.... for fastboot command in linux you need "sudo"!

Any progress with this ?!? I'm a Linux user too, but I must admit that for this process I had to start my dusty Windows installation. As for the second attempt ... if the first one fails you must restart the phone in download mode again.

Sadly no. I don't understand why Upgrade Q would work in Virtualbox but QFIL doesn't. Still get the firehose error:
NOP: Fail Code: 10
Unable to send FireHose NOP, Device is not in Firehose mode!
Download Fail: System.Exception: Failed to send Firehose NOP to the phone
As I said before the phone is definitely in download mode and shows up in device manager correctly. I tried altering the USB filter in Virtualbox to be less device specific and a few other things, plugging unplugging, different usb cable, different usb port on laptop etc but no luck.
I might try a different Windows version but I think I'll probably resort to using a friends computer at some point.
Don't want to dual-boot windows as my laptop HDD is toooooooooo full and it would involve altering a few of my partitions etc.
Hi there,
Today i've received this tablet. All good and dandy until it notified me it has an update so obviously i've gone and do the update. Surprise.. after reboot, update installment and so on the device won't boot anymore at all, and recover mode doesn't work to enter.
I've found official ROM package on their site:
ftp.vonino.org/public/Firmware/Vonino_Tablets/Pluri%20Q8/Orange%20Version/Android%206.0/
Tablet can connect to the PC, but it isn't recognized because "some drivers" missing. How can i install this ROM on the tablet from my pc ?
Thank you.
Hi,
I can't find anything about it on xda or anywhere. You'll need to contact the manufacturer for drivers and instructions on flashing their firmware.
Good luck!
After i tried like almost the entire day i got the tablet in rescue mode or fastboot mode..
I've wiped/data or factory reset and the same happens... it stays in a loop when boot at logo.
I've let it to do so until the battery went dead from 100% and still the same.
I have official ROM but can't install it at all. I think the bootloader is locked?! And it doesnt even unlock it when using some fastboot commands
Also can't install nothing from SD card and when tryin to use ADB the PC can't see the device, but when using fastboot I can work on it.
In rescue mode i've done some root integrity check and at the end of the check some /system files are modified. I believe this is causing the entire problem.

Typically, on devices I know of, it's fastboot that you would use to flash factory images. So you should be good there. But again, I don't know if that is how your device works too. And it would also typically not matter what's been altered on your device, system wise, you would simply flash the appropriate images with fastboot.
So I'd still say you need to determine the correct procedure to flash the files you got from their site. Perhaps there site has instructions? Or a support number for help of its not working as it should?
I've talked with the support. They gave me a link with an official ROM, a different one that the one that was from the site. But they didn't even told how to use it, LOL.
Have the damn files and don't know what to do with them, OMG.
I've placed the zip archive on SD card and tried to use the option from rescue mode with 'update via sd card". The zip archive is visible but after i select it says Installation aborted :|
I've googled around and maybe my tablet needs to be at over 50% power... but it was plugged into the wall it should've worked.
edit: 100% and no good...
edit2: they sent me another e-mail with a pdf file in which it is explained how to flash their device.
