[Solved][Q] How to get init.d support on rooted stock rom?

Can anyone please tell me how to get init.d support on rooted stock rom? If its possible by flashing any kernel then please tell me a kernel that will work.
For solution see post number 6
Cranium supports init.d scripts, but apparently some people have had it not work with stock ROM. Personally it's working fine for me (using rel #2, #3 has a bug).
EDIT: Fairly sure Titanium support them as well. Don't know if it works well with stock ROM or not.
Trying out...

Method to get init.d support on stock rom
I thoroughly searching on many websites i found a way to do it
I found a tutorial here
SOME EXTRA INSTRUCTIONS:
I tried out the method myself on a pre-rooted stock rom. The tutorial mentioned above provides a .zip file that you can flash via CWM. I was successful in getting the test init.d script to run without creating install-recovery.sh, which the tutorial asks you to create.
:good::good:
Hit thanks if i helped
thank you for the guide.....:good:

Whats the role of busy box here?
and I have to write following code manually?
Code:
# init.d support
busybox run-parts /system/etc/init.d/
I have done it and when i flash init.d zip file i got "installation aborted"
U can also try pimp my Rom ....through this you can also add init.d support to ur stock kernal.

Did you leave an extra empty line
And did you give it full 777 permissions to install-recovery.sh?
"If it's not now, then it's when"?

Press enter twice.
Just give it full permissions anyway.

[Q]

accidentally deleted system UI. on rooted tranformer tf700 4.2.1 I'm missing the status bars and home key etc... I assume I need to re-install the apk. Can someone post or send it to me... I would greatly appreciate it. I have a keyboard so I have limited functions... probably enough to get it installed.
thx!

OK in the attached zip you need to extract it to your sd and then copy the 2 files SystemUI.apk and SystemUI.odex into the /system/app folder and then set the permissions as 644 or rw-r--r--
Good luck!

You need to make sure you give esfile explorer root permissions. First turn on root explorer in tools on the left and then hit the word root explorer and set everything to RW - it'll work then.

I was able to get the files moved with ROM toolbox and get the permissions set but it will still not install? Any ideas?

You will need t reboot if you haven't already....
Other option is download the full rom from the ASUS website, unzip to the root of your internal sd and let that flash from stock recovery. You'll lose everything but it will get you back up.

S6 launcher with A-Z sorting

Since samsung forgot to add A-Z sorting option in app drawer in Indian firmware, can anyone from anywhere else who has this option please share their launcher app? I think it would make the stock launcher perfect for me.
Thanks in advance.
