Warning: Unlike other apps in this category you don't need 'ROOT' access to use this app and this app is very battery friendly!
Hint: If you have problems please do a full re-install and/or reboot your phone. Otherwise contact me over the in-app function!
Warning: If you use a Samsung S3 (Mini) you have to disable Samsung TTS (text-to-speech) under settings -> apps manager -> all (on the right) and Google TTS (text-to-speech).

Some hints from questions in this thread:
you dont need root rights! thats a big point.
the on screen led is always working!
but first try hardware led of course.
your data is always safe
but the "paid version" needs more permissions (for google things) to read your personal data.
thats why the paid version has no internet right.
the lite version needs internet only 4 a little ad banner at the bottom.

- My problem with an app like LightFlow was the amount of "alarms" it created, thous reducing battery-life. How does this one behaves?
- Does it disable the other ones (like Whatsapp, does it keep working when you have this app installed)?

1) LEDBlinker creates only one notification at the same time (the last one wins the race)
2) other notifictions should work normally, try the lite version first!

no your data is of course safe, too!

What is Smart Lock?
Smart Lock is a smart app that intelligently lock/unlock your smart phone without touching it.
This app runs on Android 2.1+ devices having proximity sensor.
The main objective of the app is to lock and screen off your smart phone immediately when it is not in use to save more battery.
When your phone is in your pocket or in phone cover, this app automatically locks and turn-off the phone screen to save battery.When you pull out your phone, this app automatically unlocks your phone and turn-on the phone screen to make it ready to use.
I got the idea to build this app by using BlackBerry phones. It uses sensors to turn-off screen when putting the phone in phone cover and immediately turn-on phone screen when pulling out the phone from phone cover.

Very cool app, I have purchased the Pro version; it works great, with one (small) comment:
I don't know, how to phrase it, as I am not a programmer, but I have the feeling, that the priority of smart lock should be higher. What I mean:
Although I use it with 'show notifications' on (which should mean as I recall that the service stays active), after running a few apps (I have about 60 installed) smart lock stops; meaning: after taking the phone out of my pocket screen does not turn on -I assume (maybe I am wrong), that due to lower priority of smart lock app, which gets stopped when more apps loaded/ memory used?
Anybody else experiencing this issue; any ideas how to solve it?
Otherwise great app, 95% of the time works just as described, very easy to get used to!

I've been using your app pretty much since the beginning, this feature has been there a long time & is working fine.
So I really don't understand why you need this new permission.

I'm wondering what EXACTLY this app does to hide/unhide apps.
and how do you backup/transfer your apps to a new device?
normally, you just copy the app folder to a new device.
what happens if an app is protected with this service?

lockdown pro. its the best apk to lock apk files. but one thing bothering me is that when i press recent tasks in my phone, it displays all the content of my gallery or any apk files. so please fix that

My previous post #1283 hasn't been replied to, so I'll ask another question.
If I was to uninstall Lockdown Pro and reinstall...
Firstly would the private gallery still be accessible or would I lose all my pictures?

And no, the app is not useless. This adds yet another layer of difficulty in accessing your phone & info.
A good offensive mobile security plan involves layers.

I'm not trying to knock it, but considering my girl was able to boot into safemode and access my locked apps.....
If she knew what safemode even was, then some who is actually tech savvy would definitely know how to bypass it.
On a side note, I made a bet with my girl that she could not get into my locked apps and lost, though the money I make, the check might be in my name, but it her money lol

Locked Out
Hi, I used LockdownPro to lockdown all apps on a Samsung Galaxy a couple of years ago.
I ended up not using the tablet and it's sat in a box for two years!.
When I turned it on today, I could not remember the Lockdown Pro passcode.
I can't access emails, settings or anything to try to amend.
Is there anything I can do?

There seems to be a small conflict? with Nova Launcher. When you click on resent apps, LDP comes up as it's supposed to, but after you clear the list & hit Home or Back...it pops up again.

Let your kids do some math exercises before playing games on their phones!
Learn 4 Fun works like a screen lock. Before accessing the apps or games on the phone or tablet, your kids have to solve some math exercises first and are rewarded with play time.
Once time is up, access will be locked and the exercise screen appears again.
Learn 4 Fun is not a kids mode! Access to apps and internet is not restricted.

Hi, just installed your app and the idea is really cool. Functionality is also good and my daughter will need to do some exercise before using my phone.
Two things :
1. I get always this exercise of 6+28kg=? And the answer is 6028!? Does not make sense for me and the exercise is coming again after 2-3 different exercises.
2. I would like to enable your app only for some special apps like YouTube for example. Will this be possible in the future?

1. This specific exercise is "6 t 28 kg = 6028 kg" with the "t" meaning tons.
Unfortunately, the 't' and the '+' look very similar in the chalk font.
Wronlgy answered exercises are repeated more frequently, that's why it is coming again and again.
It has to be answered correctly three times in a row to be removed from the list.
2. I have already thought about this.
Probably in the future, there will be some kind of configurable white list for apps where the timer is not running.
It will definitely not be like a child mode with a separate desktop where only some apps are visible at all.

Thanks for your explanation, now it make sense... Maybe it would be better to change the font. The request must be 100% clear.

Hi, CPU182 thanks in advance for your game, I think is quite fine to enforce kids to use the knowledge to achive what they want, a nice approach to a tool for learning, I wish you to continue on this road, and in order to do so, I'm ofering myself as a volunteer to translate and support if necesary your app and options, to help becoming popular your app... Because I believe that in the latin home, this kind of app is necesary for a bit lazy generation of kids, that let sometimes aside their responsabilities for a taste of their favorite game, or alike app.
