I have no YouTube on my Xperia Play ! Help !

Hello,
I bought my Xperia Play and I have all the Google apps expect YouTube,
I really need the YouTube app.So my question is : Where can I get the YouTube app?!
I've tried the Appmarket but it isnt there!
I really need help.

If it's not in the market, and it didnt come with your device, maybe it's not availible in your country. What country are you from? Did you try the web market?

Sign in to your Gmail account (market email) and see if you can download it.

I'm from Belgium and my dad has YouTube on his Samsung Galaxy SII.

Connect both your laptop/computer and phone to the same internet. Open the previous link I gave you. Sign in. Click install on the link. It says choose device. Click that and then it should say Xperia Play or r800i. (Check attachments on this post).

I cant download it !!! Please help

Are you talking about the .apk i attached above, or the way the other guy is telling you to do it? If your talking about not being able to download the .apk i attached above, then, are you trying to download it with your phone or your computer? If your using your phone, then download the .apk from my post above using your computer, then transfer it to your phone, using the USB cable.

Just incase XperianceIT apk does not work I have uploaded one from my device, R800i 2.3.4 stock.
Its from /system/app so you could try to install it or move it to system/app and set permissions to rw-r-r providing you are rooted.

Yep your absolutely right, I grabbed the wrong one off my sd card I think. Thanks for the uploading the correct one.

Installing it is not a problem however when I run the app it says it is incompatible... this is quite frustrating

Yeah. Mine says it's for the kindle fire and closes after
the whole GALAXY to NOTE about...counting down from 10 to 1.

I already get the answer the Kno app is only Pre install in GT - 8013 only other is not Pre install so they cannot do any thing as well I already email them and ask them .

S5 Super Power Saving Mode

I took those file from S5 ROM, then place them on S4 (i9505) and I found using Google Gesture Setting Search this: (see attached File) But Crash when activate it

No, it does NOT work. You will have to wait a bit more for the launcher of the S5 aswell as this powersaving mode

I found it before, but it's not working, I think it will be available in the next update :fingers-crossed:

most likely it's just disabled due to it's a new feature for s5,
same thing was with download booster can be enabled in S4 in settings, no FC when activating it, but if it works is another thing

I didn't find download booster in gesture search, is there a codename u used? P.S. if anyone is working on Ultra Power Saving Mode I would love to help.

Galaxy Apps not working and others... (SOLVED)

Hello there.
After Samsung Apps update to Galaxy Apps I can't install any app.
If I uninstall the update , the Samsung App do not allow me even to search. Have anyone this issue to?
Other thing, I'm using Gnabo_v5 and the Quick Command isn't working, is it normal?
The last one, when I try to access the Photo Editor in gallery, it says that I don't have the app and ask me to download it, then redirects me and when in Galaxy Apps it says "product does not exists".
Can anyone help me?

I have the exact problem with gnabo v5 rom. I want to have polaris and grouplay on my n8013 so I installed the removal package. But Samsung requires me to update their appstore first thing to galaxy app, after which I cannot download anything from the galaxy apps. Always shows "installation failed. Try again layer (0)"

Well... Updated to v5.5 and still have same problem. Anyone with this issue?
Other thing, when accessing status on "About Device" gets fc and the Quick Command is not working.

I can, but it seem that you had already posted there man.
Well, actually I'm not sure if mikyno will resolve this issue since he did intentionally remove those apps from his rom. But let's hope that he will help us anyway

besides if you want a good Youtube Downloader google TubeMate it was removed from the Play Store long time ago but it's still the best.

I have both Polaris Offices the one from the Samsung App Store and from Google Play Store IMHO the one from the Play Store is much better so don't even bother with the one from Samsung https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.infraware.office.link&hl=de

Downloaded the Samsung Apps from this post http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=50974832 , moved to /system/priv-app and changed the permissions to rwx-r-r.
To solve the gallery issue I downloaded the zip file from this post http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=53300077 and flashed on recovery.

Open Camera go to more there you can find download, where you can download additional modes.

But due to regional difference ...I am not able to download any modes...it says not available. ..any OTHER way to get it besides downloading it from the app?? Thanks

you can install the camera modes manually.
XtreStoLite Rom has a addon package. From that you could extract the apk.
Regarding themes there is no manually way to install fifferent themes. But the theme store store should be available to everyone.

Regarding the themes I am sure it is not available to all the countries of the world including mine - BHUTAN !

You can try using HotspotShield or other vpn services and hope that it tricks the system. Not sure though. You can try.

I wish i could do that but sadly i dnt have huge internet package here thus cannot download the package u are refering to. If there is anyone with the apk please let me know ! Thank you ,,,
