A concept I came up with lately. The basic idea is to add the function to replace the Quick-shortcuts by a bar with music controls. It could clear up the status bar by deactivating the ongoing notification in the status bar.
This will also been shared on the boards of PA and CM.
I've added a little concept art for better understanding.

Has Chrome ever supported translucent status bar on your OPO?
I am asking because Chrome's address bar coloring feature looks really ugly with a total black status bar: I'd like the color to extend to the status bar as well
I have stock COS12 not rooted.
No real complaints about this device. Just not a fan of how every thing in the status bar is smushed together. Are there any apps or mods where you can customize arrangement (i.e. center clock) that do not require a ROOT? Thanks.
Anyone Remember Lolistat Reborn?
A xposed app that allows you to match your navbar to status bar color based on app color preferences?
Well, just wanted to know if there's an app laying around that allows you to achieve a similar effect, but on the background of the QS tiles...
Anything?
Hello Devs, I have a really good idea about status bar.
It is kind of copied but extremely original for android.
The idea is about adding media controls in status bar.
The controls will be to the left side of the QS tiles. The full music player with volume control slider, media art, music title and everything related to media.
I will try to update the OP with a (photoshopped) Screenshot, but I hope you guys understood what I am trying to say
For example the one in iOS control center, they have it on the left side of the Control Center, in android we can add it to the right (on the left side there are more QS tiles)
PS (Desktop) : There's a poll !
Sounds like a lot of work and i personally dont see the point in that. You already have notification with thumbnail and controls. And if its next to the tiles you have to use pulldown anyway and then you also can just use the notification.
Navbar Tools allow you to add colors that match the currently opened app color scheme. You can also add images that you like in the Navbar. And last but not least you can add a battery level bar in the Navbar also.
