Hello,
I am using a HTC one x unbranded. I have recently removed the back cover just to look inside(i know i am stupid, Shouldn't have done that).
But anyway after placing the back cover safely and cautiously i can't seem to get my sim card registered (which i used before perfectly in this phone ) due to poor reception in my opinion.
The other thing is when i go to the city where the network tower is located my phone seem to be working fine. better reception.
I have tried many things. I looked inside the phone again to make sure i haven't damaged anything and also tried a different sim card and i did reset the phone as well. Nothing seemed to help me so far.
Any suggestions will be highly appreciated
Thank you
Mahesh

AT&T one x is a one xl. Check bootloader if you're unsure. Evita = one xl. Endeavor = one x

Yes.
Stick to the ROM links on my Index thread, and you can hardly go wrong (everything listed is for the EVITA):

Hiya,
I urgently need to unroot my phone and return it back to stock as its developed a hardware fault and I need to swap it out. I cant seem to find a way to do it with the details of my phone.
I saw on some threads people wanted the following details
version main: 3.14.161.27
cid: VODAP001
If someone could help me unroot it and return to stock please id appreciate it.
I think you're asking in the wrong forum, this is the Evita (One XL) forum. You want the Endeavoru (One X) forum.

No, this is the forum for the Evita. I know what I'm talking about. They're two entirely different phones with two entirely different forums. You need to find the HTC One X forum.

Thousands and thousands of other users have managed to navigate their way through this seemingly labrynthian system. All you had to do was listen when someone who actually knew what they were talking about was trying to guide you in the right direction.
Nobody is talking about the HTC One X here, we're talking about the at&t One X (HTC One XL). You just need to be able to distinguish between the two, which is what I was attempting to help you do before you so blindly (and incorrectly) informed me that I was wrong.

Hi there.
I'm really, really new on this subject, but this weekend i tried booting my HTC One X into Cyanogenmod. Unfortunately i was not satisfied as my Internet Browsers (Built-in and Chrome) kept crashing.
I now want to get back to the Stock ROM, but i'm uncertain what to do. I browsed this page for way too long last night, but there was no help to find.
Upon installation of Cyanogenmod, i createda back-up which i tried restoring from, but after that it could not boot, and this very moment i'm scared i bricked my phone or something.
While my phone was working i downloaded the correct Stock ROM and placed it on my SD-card. I tried installing it via recovery mode, but the installation aborted.
Any help would be fantastic, but please keep in mind that i'm new on the subject, and english isn't my primary language.
Cheers.

One X Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting
Looks like One X to me -
Anyways - I found RUU + guide HERE . My phone booted the stock system now, but i can't Unlock it (Screen-lock, finger-swipe thing you know).
Any advice on this?
Nope. Take it from someone who knows what they're talking about, someone who is on this forum every single day because I have the One XL. I can't give you any advice because I don't know anything about your phone because you're asking in the wrong forum. You have the HTC One X, and I'll say again this is the HTC One XL / at&t One X forum, completely different device.

In the above post you're distinguishing them as three different phones. They're two different phones: the Evita (HTC One XL / AT&T One X) and the Endeavoru (HTC One X).
I know the difference between the Evita and the Endeavoru, I never said they were the same phone, please read again. I said the HTC One XL and the AT&T One X are the same phone because you mentioned them as different phones.

There is a logo on the HTC One XL (Evita) and the HTC One X (Endeavoru), both models have the HTC logo above the display. I own the HTC One XL, it's in my hands right now, I'm staring at the HTC logo.
Please, please make sure you know what you're talking about when posting on our forum. Being specific, correct, and thorough are incredibly important on XDA. Giving the wrong information can lead to confusing someone who's asking for help, it can even lead to bricking someone's device. That's why being careful and making sure you know what you're talking about is so important on this site.

Hi there.
I just flashed the new CM11 Nightly Jan22 build. When I was about to to calibrate my battery using an app from the Play Store, the calibration app only reads 4mV. When I was still in CM10.2 it shows 4200mV.
Already searched and no luck.
Anyone on the same boat?
Thanks!
