I have non-nav infiniti g37 and it does not support bluetooth music streaming.
However, it does come with USB plug in for iPhone or USB memory stick.
It won't support Android devices for music streaming through USB plug in for some reason.
I was wondering if there is a way to stream music from my Nexus 5 to the iPod connected through USB to my car.
I do not want to lose my XM so connecting to XM method is not what I want to do.
Thank You
Anyone....?

Unfortunately that doesn't seem likely - Apple and Android devices do not "talk" well enough for something like this to easily happen.
When you say it doesn't support Android devices through USB- what has happened when you tried it? I don't know much about the subject but if you had an error code or something along those lines it would be something to google

Ok so I was wondering, is it possible to set up my old ipod touch so that when I connect it to my speakers I can have it stream the audio coming from my android device?
If this isn't possible is there a way to remotely control the music already on my ipod touch?
Basicly I want to be able to control the music on my speakers wirlessly from my android device without having to use my computer, but rather an ipod touch.
Thanks for any help in advance
(They are both on the same wifi network which should make things much easier)

so have a note2 and enjoying it... issue is getting media to my other devices. Currently I have an ipad1 sitting under my audio receiver connected via usb and it allows me to control spotify with my universal remote as if the receiver and ipad were one. I am thinking about buying a nexus 10 but I use my tabs for mostly media and ebooks. I want the sound and possible video (all streamed... spotify, netflix, google music, pandora) to somehow make it to my receiver and if it is video obviously make it to my tv. My receiver is a yamaha rx-373 (have a rx-473bl in the mail with networking abilities)
The solution I am looking at would preferably be something close to airplay or being able to connect my device through usb and control it with my universal remote or connect via hdmi but still charge my device. Ideal solution is being able to output everything over wifi to a receiver (maybe samsung allshare dongle) attached hdmi to my yamaha receiver. I just have no clue if that dongle will work with non samsung devices and if it will completely mirror my device.
Anyways this is what I am looking for and wasnt really trying to spend a bunch of money in trying things and paying return shipping on multiple things for what kind of knowledge probably is available here.
I was under the impression that Lollipop supported USB audio devices OS wide, but I haven't been able to get my two Schiit DACs (Modi and Fulla) to work in Google Play Music. I also have a pair of Audioengine A2+ speakers (USB connection) that do work. All three of the devices are detected by USB Audio Tester and are connected via a USB OTG adapter and powered USB hub.
I've reached out to Google and Schiit. So far, only Schiit has responded, but they only said that USB audio may not work with all Android devices and that they didn't have a Nexus 5 to test. I'll update if I get any response from Google.
I haven't been able to find much on the internet about USB audio in Android. Google has two pages (1, 2) on USB audio didn't lead me to anything to help solve the problem, so if anyone is aware of other pages on the topic, let me know. Additionally, the second one only seems to confirm that the Nexus 5 should work since both of the Schiit devices are USB Audio 2.0 compliant. I'm also aware some apps support USB audio, but I need to use Google Play Music since I could only store a fraction of my library locally.
As title, is there a Android App To Connect my iPhone To Nexus 7 Via Bluetooth.
The reason i'm asking I am using the Nexus 7 as car stereo front end, so when my iPhone Rings it the Caller Name and Answer buttons show up on the screen, i've searched and searched and cannot find anything, and TabTalk doesn't work for iPhone.
Maybe something like Bluetooth stack.
You can do it on them Chinese based Android Headunits (which is clearly via Software).
So just looking for app which does that.
Hello,
I have a Galaxy Note 9 and I wanted to record the audio streaming out of my phone via Bluetooth as an MP3 or whichever format that is common.
Originally (and mistakenly) I searched for an app that would essentially emulate itself as a Bluetooth device to connect to (such as a speaker) and have the phone connect to it as a Bluetooth device. (Like an emulated CD drive on a PC)
The app would record whatever stream was being thrown at it and save it to the phone.
As I typed this up I realized I do have an alternative that will essentially do the same to an extent, but this one requires no additional hardware apart from the phone itself.
Any ideas if this is even something that can be done using Android ?
If there is an app or several of them, would you mind directing me in the right direction?
Thanks in advance,
Nick
