Hi,
I have bought an Verizon HTC One(4G LTE) when I was in US. But now I moved to India and I use a different carrier. The Phone works fine. But my phone shows its LOCKED and S-ON.
Now I want to update my phone to Kitkat 4.4.2. I cant get the OTA of software as I don't use Verizon anymore.
Can anyone please help me to update my software to kitkat.

I've a Galaxy S3 locked to T-Mobile UK. Model number is GT-19300, currently running Android 4.0.4.
T-Mobile UK have removed the OTA update functionality and i'm impatient, and want to upgrade to JellyBean.
I'm fairly new to all of this, but have some experience of rooting and flashing from an old HTC Hero.
I don't want to change to a differently themed ROM and don't care for all the different features that rooting would bring to the phone. I would just like to flash the bog-standard Samsung UK S3 ROM so I don't have the T-Mobile OTA update lock on there.
Is this possible to do? To restore the phone to an unlocked state, capable of obtaining updates without all the bloatware T-Mobile will put on when they finally release their JellyBean update. If so, i'd appreciate it if somebody could point me in the right direction of a ROM.
Apologies if what i'm asking isn't clear, as I say, i'm fairly new to it all!

I have a device from AT&T and I requested for an unlock and received a code.
I would like to use this in India. But I dont have a indian micro sim to unlock it. Is there any way to clean up the device from those useless AT&T apps and upgrade it to KitKat ? Or is it possible to do it only after I unlock it ?
How can I know what is the latest release of android for a specific phone model, for example HTC ONE VX.

i cant help you with your international problems but it looks like the device came with ice cream sandwich update (4.0.4) and is upgrade-able to jelly bean 4.1.2 (cant find much about the phone) updates and no word on an offical kit kat update. as for the AT&T bloatware you can root the device and remove them from there, you could flash a custom rom that has kit kat on it if you are willing todo that.
Hello I know there's a lot of update posts and what not but Id rather not fudge up my phone.
I bought the US GSM variant from Moto, I converted it into a GPE awhile ago. Will I get the OTA like a normal GPE or am I gonna have to do it manually? Also am I still a XT1032?

So I recently bought a brand new, unlocked AT&T D850. Right now it's running version 4.4.2 and I know Lollipop is out there already, yet trying to update OTA tells me I'm on the latest software, as does trying to update on the PC Suite. The LG Support Tool doesn't list the AT&T D850 on the phone options for some reason.
Is there anything I can do here? Is something wrong because I'm on Tmobile using an ATT phone?

It will ONLY update if you have an active AT&T sim in it. Or unless you use a custom rom.

I've got G955U (unlocked At&t) version and there aren't a lot of roms for it. I'm trying to stay on stock version, but I really want to update to 9.0
Online, Ive only found TMobile update to 9.0.
I don't have an AT&T sim with me because I have to be in India for a year, so I'm not getting to OTA.
Can anyone help point me in the right direction?!

Yes look up carrier switching for 955u and it will come up on xda
