Call Forwarding Popup issues - Samsung Galaxy S Blaze 4G

Since updating to the 03/04/2014 CM11 nightly, I keep getting a "call forwarding is enabled" popup, and trying to disable call forwarding results in the message "your provider does not allow disabling call forwarding when your phone is busy" even a factory reset and reflash + latest Gapps did not solve this issue. Any suggestions or ideas are welcome, as even the dialer shortcodes from T-Mobile do not disable the popup.

Bump back a few nightly's when you didn't have that issue and clean flash it. CM did something behind the scenes to cause that.

I too have this issue. the problem is, the oldest nightly available is 03-04 which is the one in question. I know 03-01 worked ok. Where can I download it? I cannot find it anywhere. Unfortunately I lost my previous copy.

I have the popup as well. Every 2-3 seconds, 4-6 popups appear at the same time, then I have to click 'Ok' 3-6 times. It makes it really hard to do anything.
I haven't tried reflashing yet, I'm going to do that now. It started when updating to a newer nightly. It worked in an earlier build.
Edit:
Just found a mention of this issue on the CM thread .-.: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2566075.
He says "Please do NOT install any nightly past 3/2-3/3 as there is a popup bug being worked on..thanks.."
Also, there might be some solutions here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2566075&page=60. I'm going to try flashing some of the builds linked.

I don't get it, why release new nightlies if they are unusable? Curious why an older working ROM wouldn't be available either.
I have a copy of the Feb 5 ROM that doesn't have this bug if anyone wants it. PM me

[Q] G2x with Cyanogenmod7 can't receive data (I realize this is a common problem)

Hey, so as stated in the title, I have recently flashed Cyanogenmod7. Initially, version 7.2.0 and then the nightly build released on 10/7/12. I can no longer receive mobile data. I realize this is a very common problem and have searched through multiple forum posts here and elsewhere online. I also flashed a new kernel in an attempt to fix it (not sure of the name, found here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1073626).
Mobile data will appear (and work) for the first 10-15 seconds after startup if wifi is disabled but then vanishes afterwards. I have tried changing the mobile network settings and apn settings in a number of ways but no method ever works (most of the ones found online appear to be at least a year old so perhaps I just need more modern entries). Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The CM team has yet to fix this, and I doubt it ever will be fixed. It's present on all AOSP based ROMS. I guess if they set the modem to reset on bootup, it could fix it, but I have no idea how to do that.

I've also tried wiping the cache and dalvik cache with no effect. I have also installed a custom kernel with no effect. I am not entirely sure what you mean by fixing permissions.
Edit: searched and figured it out. Tried fixing permissions in combination with the other two options. Still no effect.
Sorry to bump an old topic but I accidentally reflashed Cyanogen (pressed wrong zip in recovery) and now it's working so if anyone else has this problem, try doing a factory reset and then reflashing old data.

[Q] wifi issue on JB roms

Greetings guys. I'll skip the bs and tell you what my problem is. I just rooted 2.20 like everyone else and everything has been mostly fine but when I flash any JB ROM my WiFi doesn't work. I've tried flashing different stock ROMs in which the WiFi does work then wiping from recovery and reflashing jb but no dice. I've also tried fixing permissions and every other solution I've found via search.
Making a thread is a last resort as I know you guys are being flooded but any help would be much appreciated.
Try the 10/25 experimental nightlies CM10. Have heard this fixed wifi issues with most people
Any jb Rom? Are you having the same issue on aokp or miui

I don't get any errors. It just doesn't pick up my router. Although when I disable all security on the router it picks it up just fine. A totally unlocked router is out of the question though.

Yeah. I spent a good long while tinkering with my router and even factory reset it as well as tried every security type, changing ssid, hiding it, the works. My old iPhone picks up the router just fine, as does my laptop. This leads me to believe the problem lies with my phones ROM. I'm gonna try to flash a couple of the ROMs suggested to me once my phone charges.
So Ive flashed the experimental CM nightly released on the 25, MIUI v4, AOSP Nocturnal Dirty Rom 4.1 as well as AOKP JellyBean. Still nothing. Im sure I'm forgetting a couple too.
Don't really know what else I can do at this point. Ive tried different gapps packages too just in case that could be it. I might have to abandon all hope of running project butter right now. :crying:
Damn shame too, I really really like AOKP JB

Yeah, that's the standard protocol Ive been taking with every ROM I flash, even ones of the same kernal type. Reboot to recovery>Factory reset>flash boot.img for that ROM>reboot to recovery and install.

that sounds like a legit issue, you should probably report that to h8rift in the cm10 thread and see if anyone else has the issue.
out of curiosity what type/brand of router do you have ?
Update: Now running Cleanrom and everything seems to be working properly. I'm gonna stick with it for a little while until I can figure out how to run JB with wifi.

I had an old D-Link and wifi worked fine on JB based ROMs for me.

I've had the same issue in every aosp ROMs however on my phone i do get the WiFi to work. It takes me a while but I eventually get it. What I do I turn WiFi on and off, leave it off for a minute or so, re start my phone, after phone starts I turn WiFi on and most of the times it does it, you have to have patience

[Q] Unable to send/receive MMS

I have been unable to send or receive MMS messages to/from anyone. Outgoing messages just get stuck at "sending" and I've had multiple people try to send me an MMS. I believe my APN settings are correct based on other threads here. Has anyone else seen/dealt with/have a solution for this bug?
I'm currently running CM10.1 April 8 Nightly off of a clean complete wipe flash, but I believe the problem has occurred with prior versions as well.

I saw some commits related to unicode encoding with the MMS app. It's possible (Disclaimer: I am not a dev, these are just theories) that these have something to do with the MMS issue. You could extract the MMS.apk from a prior build (where your MMS was still functional) and push it to /system/apps, rename your current MMS.apk to MMS.bak (just in case), set permissions to R-W, R, R, then reboot. If that works then we know there's an issue with the CM commits to the MMS.apk.
Had the same problem this morning. Turns out I had mobile data turned off.

What that means is that your APN's might not be configured properly. Compare them to the ones listed here. If that doesn't fix the MMS issue then we'll have to investigate further.

I've put in a trouble call with AT&T hopefully they find something....
So according to AT&T there are no network problems but my phone is not responding to push notifications from them. They want me to bring it into a "core" store to have it checked out (not going to happen on behalf of the rooting/custom ROM). I'm wondering if my Android ID#/device hostname may have changed when I did a full wipe? Although I'm not even sure that would have any effect on my problem. I'm just tossing out ideas.

If I were you I'd just make a nandroid backup of my current setup, transfer that (and any other important data) to either my external or PC, ODIN back to stock and head over to an AT&T store. Just my two cents. You can always re-root and flash a custom ROM again. If you'd corrupted something through flashing (not saying you did, just a thought) getting AT&T to straighten it out and then going custom from there might be your best option.

Sinnce AT&T uses the IMEI number as the ID for the device, that wouldn't be the issue you aren't receiving push messages. I agree with mrfeuss, back up the phone, flash the stock rom, and go have AT&T fix it on their end. Then you can re-root and install your custom ROM again. Better to have them look at it than live without MMS.

[Q] Gapps Stops Working and Persistant Activation

I just flashed my first ROM so I'm not used to this whole thing. I figured that I would have some trouble along the way.
I own a VZW GS3, now running LiquidSmooth 4.2.2. I downloaded the ROM and the gapps that they linked (I didn't install the nightly builds, just the official). However, every time I attempt to sync my contacts, gapps crashes. I haven't really found a good answer via the search bar. I need sync to work, so disabling it isn't an option (plus, half of my contacts are missing). Should I re-flash gapps, or was that not the correct version to use anyways? GooManager is saying that the latest version of gapps for this device is the "20121011" version.
Also, every time I reboot my phone, it goes into this perpetual "Activation is required". That's weird because my IMEI is fine, and I can call/text/surf once I home out of that screen. Has anyone experienced this before?
EDIT: It looks like the sync issue ONLY happens when turning on the "browser" sync option. I've disabled that for now, but I have a new problem.
My "People" app is populated will all of my contacts, however that has not transferred over to my phone's contact list (used for phone and messages). How can I get those contacts names and information moved over?
Regarding the activation on every reboot, do you live in an area with poor reception? Also it seems as that issue only happens to me on certain roms I've tried.
That is not the latest gapps package. Try flashing 20130301.

That's the one I did flash.
I think I've fixed my issues. I cleared the Cache/Dalvick, flashed the new nightly, and re-cleared. That solved all the gapps problems. As for the activation issues, it still happens intermittently. I'll give Verizon a call if there are still issues.
Thanks everyone!

Camera problem

Hi people I have been using my Nexus 5 for a month now. Loving it! Going stock with Elemental 26 kernel, dalvik
This happens quite random, not often but it is annoying. Camera stops working.. I start it up.. And it just.. Black.. Waiting until it says "camera stopped“ a restart does help, but I have Sometimes missed some shots because of this.
Anyone that have experienced this and have a permanent solution?

I've had this issue once while on CM11. A restart fixed it, leading me to believe it's a ROM/Kernel bug, and also hasn't happened on the latest nightly. OP, try a different kernel version.

Flashable zips of stock kernel are available here. You can also fastboot flash the boot.img file from the factory images.
