Project Ameliorate Toolbox (P.A.T) - Moto X Themes and Apps

As the creator of many toolboxes for Motorola devices over the past 4 years I decided to try my hand at merging my toolbox with this new fangled thing called xPosed framework. This is where Project Ameliorate Toolbox comes in.
This toolbox is an extension of not only my previous works but I also imported parts of GravityBox as well as built my own parts for the xPosed portion of this toolbox.
** Gravity Box Parts **
I cherry picked some parts from GravityBox, these parts were picked because they work best on the X, and they are what I use.
You should check this out!
*** Disclaimer ***
Parts of XYZ TOOLBOX may conflict with other xPosed Modules, if this occurs then you should uninstall the other modules.

Yes, I would do that. But I have used them side/side as well.

Please add screen recording with audio

Will you be adding the ability to have the long press Nav key options from Gravity Box? The GB dev spent alot of time working with Moto X owners to get everything working perfectly. XYZ module ui looks very nice, easy to navigate to find the changes you want to make. Are you adding the module to the Xposed repository so we can easily see updates?
Keep up the good work and thanks in advance.

with your toolbox is there any way to KILL apps all the way with the back button? Every other phone I've had when I set it up to kill an app it killed it all the way, on the x it's will kill what the app is currently doing, but stay within that app.

The "exit an application" on back button is not how Android handles the life cycle of apps. The OS will take you back one stack (view, etc.), so if you are in an application with multiple views then the back button will keep going backwards through views until you eventually get back to the home screen.

Hi, the option Navigation > NavBar Keys > Navigation Icon, could you please say where do you find him? I use GravityBox (for the QS tiles options) but want to change my Navigation Bar icons, but PAT doesn't go well with GB.
Thanks!

I do not understand the request * Where do you find them?
They are an application that I had built previously and have now added to my version of an enhanced Toolbox. You can't find them in GB. (I hope this answers the question).

Working on my N7.
Thanks dever. pls add some function like "show status bar on screen off, hide status bar on screen unlock..." and add widget to control status bar show/hide. thanks.
would be awesome if it can be hidden for the lockscreen only on jb
Tried this but gives me a reboot after like a minute. Even the pro does. Maybe it conflicts with my settings and all. But great apps. Im using the gesture control, too bad cant use the hide bar thingy...
Good job! Works like a charm on Motorola RAZR xt910 ICS 4.0.4.
Please add 'exit' button when I run app and when bar is hidden there are no way to go to homescreen when I using tablet mode on Lapdock.
+1 to widget control and restore bar when screen off.
Thanks

I'm using the paid version of gesture control, and I love it. One think I'd like: replacing the Launchpad with a "recent tasks" window. Right now my launchpad consists of a single button to the task switcher, but I'm lazy and I'd like to have one action less to get there..
Working on my flytouch 7
This application is pretty similar to HideBar (http://ppareit.github.com/HideBar/), an application that has been in development for over a year. It contains an intuitive user interface to hide/show the systembar.
I find the development of customizing tools like GMD very good. But as a developer you should not use the same name. This only leads to confusion for existing users.

This was not intended and happened just because title is kind of generic. Since there is no perfect solution for ICS yet without modding, it is good that alternatives are appearing so everyone can pick solution that works best for them.

[APP][XPOSED][Touchwiz] Wanam Xposed | Tweak stock Touchwiz on Note 3!

Hello, everyone! I have seen this mentioned in a few of the posts here in this community but no one had posted it as a thread.
Just wanted to post this here in case you might be interested in tweaking stock Touchwiz without needing a custom recovery (which we do not have yet). I have confirmed a lot of these tweaks work (mostly the theme tab)...some of the tweaks I did not have a use for so I did not test. Please test at your own risk and report back if something does not work for you! Neither Wanam or I are responsible for any issues you may run into...use at your own risk! Have fun!

As long as you reboot after exposed before you install Wanam you can do all the tweaks in Wanam without rebooting of course you do have to reboot before any of them take effect.
Also be careful with some of the tweaks that have to do with actual operation of your phone concerning calls and whatnot I found them to lead to boot loops on this device time to time. As the original poster mention the ones in the "Theme" category are generally safe. Should you messed something up and going to a bootloop just re root you'll be fine.

So i think installing MobileIron and my companies admin settings are conflicting with Wnum and I am again facing a soft reboot. Starts up but immediatley crashes. How do I get to ADB so I can disable wanum?
Anyone have any clue on how to theme the brightness slider?
Can someone check to see if your S Health still works after using Wanam? I'm trying to narrow down the tweak that breaks it.
edit... So it seems that Xposed breaks it for whatever reason.

[Guide]LG launcher hidden settings

There is a pretty simple way to go in these launcher settings.
1. Download and install Launcher Pro from Google Play (you don't need to set it as default launcher or anything)
2. Add Activities widget to your LG Launcher home screen. Search for Home - com.lge.launcher2.hiddenmenu.LGHomeHiddenMenuActiv ity
3. VoilĂ  now you have access to hidden settings from your Home screen. If you change your settings they will keep even after restarting your phone.

Those just look like a non polished interface for your custom launcher. My guess is that they aren't LG launcher specific, they are Launcher PRO specific...
In which case you're telling us that a custom launcher has more features than the integrated one, which isn't really news to anyone on XDA mate.

[Q] Navigation button customization on stock

I'm trying to go back to stock. The ROM I'm using now allows 5 customized navigation buttons. This seems to be the only mod I can't do without. Does anyone know how to get 5 nav buttons and your nav bar on a stock or close to stock rom?
My nav bar actions:
second action is long press
pull down notification bar, torch
home, search
back, kill app
recent app list, last app
app drawer, settings

Only thing that may be able to do this would be an Xposed framework and module for Nav Bar customizing. Try Gravitybox or one of them.

You sure about that? They have like 20 different options and you can cram 9 different buttons on the nav bar. I doubt the custom rom you were playing with had more options than that.

I think you are being too picky. If you are wanting to be on stock ROM, the only way you are going to get those customizations are with Xposed or an app. If neither does the job, you should just stay on the ROM you are using.
I'm not to picky, I live without a lot of options. My rom has tons of options and all I want is its navbar settings in xposed. I think the only customization this phone really needs is a personal smaller navbar.

[APP] 4.4 (and lower?) BackOff, button backlight disabler

I designed a simple app that disables the backlight for the capacitive keys. It also installs an init.d script that disables them at each boot, meaning you can uninstall this app after using it, if you wish.
Perfect for roms that have a navbar but no option to disable the button lights, or anyone who doesn't need the glow to tell you where your buttons are.
I tested this on SkimKat. I'd like to know if it works on JB roms.

Edit: I noticed that the screenshots make it look like a widget. This is definitely not a widget, but an app overlaying the home screen. In other news: I'm accepting better screenshots (I don't own this device)

Does it have an option to undo the init.d script after it runs? Can it do it on the fly or does it require a reboot?

Sorry about the delay. Does it disable the backlight at all or is it only after a reboot that it fails? Does your rom support init.d?
Also, my app only disables the light, not the actual button.

Awesome. Now my ROM is complete

I decided to give this a go since the option hasn't been merged into AOKP 4.4 yet. It does what it says. Thanks for the simple app.
K, so I hate to go back on this...It is still nice, but it doesn't seem to persist on a reboot. Any thoughts on why that may be?

If it doesn't persist it's because your rom doesn't support init.d. You could try another kernel for now. I'm dabbling at support for roms without init.d, but I hate to make my app run at boot.
