Changing the way contacts work

I recently saw someone using a samsung galaxy and their contacts had a little phone icon at the side of the contact a bit like our call log on 2.1 is it possible to have contacts setup like on the galaxy .

If you press on the picture of a contact in your contacts, it brings up an option list, so its a similar thing.

I have been using it that way but would of prefered a one touch soloution.

Long touch on the contact name, then dail. Two touch solution though

That used to work but since 2.1 ita not available . But i like the way they can put it in the call log .

Youtube app is slow compared to iphone youtube app

Hi guys,
I was using iphone 3gs and i used to see the videos in youtube and its work fine without buffering in 2g network and when i switched to GNOTE with same 2G carrier and used youtube app and its buffers a lot.....and same thing happen when i used to skype or voicecall......... ..why there is a difference in both the device

because Note's level of Awesomeness requires it to take more bandwidth
jk, i dont know why maybe your net slowed down? i have an iphone 4s too but they browse same on both.
maybe you need to check the settings (for preloading) option

The youtube app on the 3gs has a different standard videoquality. 240p vs 320p I think.

note plays HD videos by default... but I phone app doesnt

Share music over phone call

I have been searching all over the internet for an android application that can play music to the person on the other end over a phone call...
Please point me in the right direction...

Well I searched in Playstore with the words "Phone, Music". And found this which is for Samsung or Sony devices I believe:

UNFORTUNATELY what i want is to be able to play music on my android phone to the other end over the call...
The old school N71 can do it, why not state of the arts androids???

[Q] 3D videos not playing on my GT-P3100 [HELP]

Hi my dear friends......
I have Samsung galxay tab 2 (GT-P3100)
.
I want to play 3D videos on my tab2...
I have installed MX player ,In MX player its playing 3d videos but it splits in to 2 screen
then
have installed 3DV player v4.2 on it.
There also same happens , 3d videos playing in two screen.
Then
I had done it all settings of 3DV player and in setting pleyer selected as 3DV player
Then
Its not playing 3d videos on it
When I open 3d videos then only black screen coming and player restarts again.
plz tell any solution for this or any app that can play 3d videos

Actually the gpu or the (graphics prossecing unit) inside our tab is a little weak so i don't thinks would play A 3D video
which rom are u using supply me with info and i may help you.:victory:

Bro I am using '' Abaddon HD v 1'' ROM now
But in previous Samsung ROM same happens....

3D videos are recorded in one frame, 2 frames top and bottom, and 2 frames left and right. Even on my samsung 3D TV I have to manually select which one it is or I would see 2 videos also. So either you did not select the correct option or that app is not capable of displaying dual frame 3D videos that require 3D glasses anyways. Check with the Dev of the app for support as that is where this question should be directed.

Yea your right but the hardware plays something in terms of how things are accuselerated then how would you play a 3d video on on 1d screen seems impossible and yea as you said that......

In my previous tab (MID Alps), 3d videos was smoothly play on 3dV player in single screen.......
Then whats problem behind samsung tab 2 .....

bro everything is fine problem is particular app, app cannot stream their video to external display thats a problem

Ohh got you, sorry miss read OP, and I think you may be SOL, some apps block screen cap and casting for copy right issues. I could be wrong, and if so someone please correct me.
