[Q] Grey "Android" logo on boot screen (after rooted and the changed to GPE)
It just does not work!
I've changed the logo and bootanimation of my Moto G.
The logo has changed and worked fine but I can't get the bootanimation to work!
For the logo I used fastboot flash logo method.
And for the bootanimation, I used the bootanimation.zip file in sytem/media. I did replace and it just does not work!
Is there other way to get this to work?
Forget it... It was a permission problem ... Now it's working pretty fine! :cyclops:

Hi, I had flashed some ROM which had samsung Note 3 boot logo. Then later, i flashed some other ROM which had its own boot animation. To customize my boot animation, i flashed custom boot animation which replaced my 2nd ROM animation but problem is first Samsung Boot logo pops up then updated boot animation appears. I checked in System/media but there is only boot animation for updated one. I dont want that samsung boot logo but i couldnt find it whr to delete it from. Any help?
Try System>Media>Images delete Boot_logo & reboot.

I get a blank screen .. to the point my animation and then reaches the Lock screen. a recommendation of the PNG 24, 8 bits or something else that I am missing.
I have 21 files with a resolution of 480 x 320. I'm using Photoshop creating them.

I flashed boys Google Nexus S 'screen splash on my Galaxy S GT i9000 .... by flashing some files param.tat.md5 (PDA from Odin) ..... now if you restart the phone "Google "instead written by black screen 'GT i9000" and then a small size "Google" derived, and then boot animation .... how do I get back to my GT i9000 splash screen or boot screen .... I, "just want to change Google" ... please help my original gt i9000 .... I'm currently are in use around the first .... and sorry for my bad English.

Please, can anyone teach me how to change the Splash Screen: The logo image that appears when you turn on the device before the boot animation.
I am not talking about the boot animation. Changing the boot animation can be easily done by replacing the bootanimation.zip file. I need now a way to change the starting splash screen or initial logo image that goes before the boot animation.
I have already unlocked the bootloader and rooted it.

i have used many custom boot animations on on Samsung J701f, recently i have flashed a bootanimation zip which turned boot animation in balck screen, it shows logo and system works fine, only boot animation is black now whatever i install nothing changed, how to get back custom or origional bootanimation?
