[ROM][DEV] JoyOS 0.1-1 by Grarak

Hey guys,
I'm both happy and sad to create this thread. Happy because we have finally got JoyOS on our SGR but sad because a great developer & a very good friend Grarak will not be developing for us anymore. I wish him luck for his future development on his new phone, Samsung Galaxy Nexus.
As you might know, Grarak is the one who ported MIUIhttp://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1800392http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1800392 & gave us the chance to taste it's beautification and snappyness on our SGR. He would keep working on his releases even if he would be at work. He always gave us fast updates and bugfixes. I've always enjoyed testing for him & in fact, will keep enjoying it if he decides to develop for SGR again.
Well, I'll miss him. Preferably, his comedy over Gtalk. :silly: :laugh:

Instructions:-
Please make sure you have taken CWM Backup/Nandroid Backup before proceeding...
1.Put the downloaded JoyOSv0.1-1.zip file in your SD card.
2.Boot into CWM and perform a data wipe/factory reset.
3.Wipe Cache.
4.Wipe Dalvik Cache.
5.Go to "Mounts and Storage" and peroform a "format /system".
6.Now flash JoyOSv0.1-1.zip from "Install from SD card".
7.Flash CM7 Gapps. You can download them here.
8.Again perform a data wipe/factory reset.
9.Reboot and Enjoy!

Its a special ROM like MIUI and CM7. Its based on AOSP resources. JoyOS and MIUI are almost the same. They both give iOS style experience to its user.

No buddy, its based on CM 7 so we need to wait for new CM 7 ROM update or fix for this....
ICS is our for Galaxy R why cont you try it......

Sorry buddy. I totally forgot about it since last night's ICS leak scene. Was pretty damn excited!
Btw, You can refer to the video that mj.vikram posted. It will look exactly like that.

I just wonder why camera never working on our device. Do i have to get cm7 first ?

Camera won't work on CM and CM based other roms, epsy have said that he will try building CM9/10 as its easy to fix this problem in 4.0+ builds.
As now we will soon be having official ICS and sources will be published soon so I think he will probably move to latest builds. And transfer CM7 for later.

For ICS CM team has developed common libraries file and drivers, so it will be easy to build it in ICS....

i am waiting for camera working after i can check becuase camera is most important thing for me

dude i think the prob ur trying to say the hottness n all .. its all because of the Temperature ..

Well I switched wifi on and off for 20 times in a row and didn't face the wifi toggle issue. It seems to be working fine.
Q: Isn't the memory script included? Or we have to use Link2SD?

Hi everyone, this is my first project in Totoro. I've ported LeWa ROM from Galaxy Pocket to Galaxy Y. There's a LeWa ROM for Galaxy Y, but it's lots of a bugs.
What is LeWa OS ?
Lewa OS is a third-party Android ROM produced by a Chinese company Lewa Technology. It mainly focus on developing ROMs for 1000-reminbi-phone.As of April 2013,they have more than 2 million users,and as of July 2012,they are the Top 3 custom Android ROM in China,together with MIUI and DianXin OS(or called as Tapas OS).Lewa is also the first-ever custom Android ROM in the world that supports dual-SIM standby feature.

Base ROM updated to CM7 bieltv.3 and i've port the ROM from Galaxy Pocket , i think in the thread (you posted the link) have lots a bugs

To avoid any such arguments about porting roms the mods have already decided you cant stop anyone porting and creating a new thread to port a rom if the rom is using a different base to that which is already available

User interface is the same as in my port..
I so understand for Pocket ported from s5570? Give me a link to original topic.
Now, about bugs and why my port is better:
In this port call setting FC, and this means that answer incoming call impossible! This can be solved by replacing Phone.apk, but blacklist incoming calls will not work (although it does not work).
In my port it all works! If you want to - I can update it for use CM Specifik Kernel or angpyshka kernel.
