What apps do you use?
Home use only or are you taking it out?

I would recommend Nexus 10!
For a tablet at least 8inch screen is better
Wait for second generation Nexus 10.
Ok guys.tx..cant wait for the 10..maybe ill change it appears..

It depends on where you want to use it. A nexus 7 is just perfect for using your tablet on the go and the nexus 10 will do better at home.

I had both at one point and I must admit, the new Nexus 7 felt so skinny. It might not bother you but I think it should've been a bit thicker. The software and hardware on both devices are great though. If you have a few extra dollars, get the Nexus 10. You won't be disappointed.

If I have my Nexus 5 on a desk in front of me, I am unable to feel/hear it. Did I get a defective unit? I am missing notifications...

When your holding it in your hand does it feel strong or week? Also are you using a case? Some cases may be causing it. Most that have reported vibrator issues have been plaining of it being very loud.
Get this app to increase vibration if you feel it's too weak: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.dunnow.software.vibrationTuner

This app is great I feel like 70 is good. 63 is eh. Thanks! This won't hurt the vibrate motor or make it die out early?..

Nah. Other manufacturers implement this as an option in their stock roms.
I set mine at 80%

The speakers are what is holding me back to purchase this phone.

4.4.1 fixed the speaker volume and clarity a little.

Volume seems better on my N5 4.4.2.

Undoubtedly the speaker volume on the 4.4.2 is much higher. I would say it is perfect atm. The only problem I can see at the moment is the hissing sound on the silence parts of a recorded video/sound....
I'd recommend against buying this phone if you want good speakers bro. For obvious reasons lol

Are you sure you're doing it right...?
Hey, so I Just upgraded my moto to 4.4.4 in the UK, and now there's a sort of smudge on my screen near the center left of the display, its very obvious when i use my phone in bed, and it annoys me non stop. The smudge looks like a white fingerprint but its on the display, like a dead pixel or something which it obviously isnt. I will take a photo on my tablet so you can see it, as unsurprisingly it doesnt show up in screenshots. I would greatly prefer software alternatives over hardware ones due to the fact im in quite a rural area. Thanks, Neo

Here's the picture. Sorry for horrible quality, but at least you can distinctly the smudge.

In my opinion, it looks like the display had some water
nothing can be seen well from the photo, it's like an halo under the screen.

Try to dry the humidity with an hair dryer, carefully, really. This was the suggestion I can second, in my opinion. The better photo?
Sent from my Nexus 5 using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
I've been really busy today working, so I'll take one in the morning. Also, if its water under the screen should I put the dryer on minimum heat?

Correct, I suggest medium heat and try short, multiple time heating. Difficult to sort out without a much clearer photo as stated from smbody else.

Here's a "better" photo, as my moto has the best camera of my devices, and my tab 2 has a 3mp shooter so the quality ain't great.
EDIT: been blow drying to seemingly no gain, will try later. In the meantime, any other ideas?

Are ( or is, the spot appears to be the same of the other photo) the places of the screen responsive to touch inputs with your littlest finger?
