No I change it to art as soon as I'm done flashing the ROM and I've restarted and wiped cache multiple times now and it did not change back

Is there a trick to getting the init.d scripts to stick? I have been checking off "zip align", "clear cache", "fix permissions", but they never stay checked. This happens on multiple ROMs I've tried (i.e. Beanstalk, SlimKat).
Thanks! Loving the ROM so far!!

Curious, I did not pass me,
Friend check this,
with any file explorer with root access, go to the following location
"/data/PACLogs/"
opened with any text editor "tweaks.log" and sees that services started

Dirty flashed the nightly and Recents button is working fine.
But found a new issue.
On receiving the incoming call instead of showing the call info I am getting some android process has been stopped and no caller id is displaying.
Please tell me if I can provide any log for this issue.
Reverting back to the 01-03-2014 nightly.
Edit: I also found that my mobile is not being listed as android device under windows device manager even though I have enabled the Usb debugging option. Is there any way to fix this issue?
Thanks and Regards,
Sathish.

Hello folks! Here is PACman ROM, a great mix of all the best ROM's basically.
It should build every single night, unified build works for both GSM and CDMA.
Let me know what you think!!
Aftermarket kernels - feel free to use any kernel which works with CM-11.
FAQRead ALL of this before posting in this thread! Thanks.
Q: I don't use the on-screen softkeys. How do I remove the navigation bar?
A: Go into Hybrid Properties --> Interface, under Workspace drag the slider for "Navigation Bar Size" to 0%.
Q: How do I disable the dual-pane layout that is preset in some apps (Settings, Gmail, etc.)?
A:Go into Hybrid Properties --> Apps and choose the app that you want to change. In the top right hand corner, click "Reset" and it will change the DPI and the layout of that app to the Workspace default that you have set. If your default Workspace is phablet / tablet UI but you want a specific app to not have the dual-pane layout, then go into Hybrid Properties --> Apps and set the specific app to phone UI.
Q: Some ROM Control options do not work?
A: ROM Control is still a WIP as of right now. The frameworks part of ROM Control has yet to be merged, so that's why some settings are blank. Please give some time, and it will be fixed in the near future.
ROMControl is now fixed and mostly working.
Q: Why did some of Hybrid Properties options disappear in the new update?
A: Go into Hybrid Properties --> Tools, and check Expert Mode and more settings will appear.
Q: How to I disable the PIE controls?
A: Go to Toolbars --> PIE Trigger Size and set that to none.
I love PacMan ROM. Been using it on my Razr. It's the most complete ROM based on AOSP. Hopefully, sdcard swap storage will be added soon. Thanks.

I asked about Carbon adding it, and they want to wait and see what CM does with it... if it is revised etc.
I bet PAC will have a similar attitude.

Yeah..LG Enact is the next side slider qwerty and the specs are oudated. Photon Q is the best out there. Hopefully,it won't be the last qwerty side slider. I'm dreaming of Droid 5.

Great ROM. Specially the integrated UI switcher.
For me the HDMI is not working. When I connect Lapdock 100 the phone screen rotates automatically but there is no image on lapdock screen. Is there a way to get it working?
One more thing I always missed from custom ROMs. The Motorola favorite contacts. Is it possible to port it from original JB.

I'm not sure about the contacts - you can try?
As for HDMI... does this work on stock ROM I assume? Have you tried on CM10.2?
Unfortunately, for the most part, if the bug exists on CM it will exist on the "other" CM-based ROM's. Carbon, PAC, AOKP, etc.
Wow, you are a true hero... what a commitment!!
System UI keeps force closing, great rom before that though!

Hm. Which gapps did you use? Did you factory reset? No dirty flashing...
Which build were you on? 8/23? Do you get it from doing anything in particular? I think someone else was talking about a FC when going to a certain setting...

I've tried original CM10.2 and lapdock doesn't work even if the description says HDMI working fine.
I love the rom from what little i have seen of it but i have run into a major issue for me. I dont use sprint and so i need a custom apn for data and since in most custom roms and all cm roms the ##whatever# codes dont work so the only way i know how to set the custom apn is a zip i have. This method has worked on every other rom i have tried but not this one any advice?

I think ## codes work on these ROM's, they are just #*#* commands instead if I recall correctly.
But what is the error when flashing the zip? Are you on another CDMA provider?

I used the gapps that were in the thread, but I'm not sure what the last option I clicked on was.... I was on 8/23 when I made the FC, so I tried to update to 8/24 to see if it fixed it, and still a FC.
Edit: arrrghhh are you using a Samsung epic 4G?

There is no error it flashes just fine but when I get back into the rom my connection icon says "LTE" I assume that's the same as other roms saying "4G" but when I try and use the browser the loading bar stalls it doesent even 404 out and the market won't load etc.

ROM is pretty good so far. I've used PACROM on my phone for quite a while, so setting it up just right at first takes some time.
I've noticed lots of crashes when going through PACROM settings, especially trebuchet. No crashes outside of settings though.
Nice to finally play with 4.3.

Maybe that's because Cromi X browser was using browser2ram, you should install it and try again.
EDIT: Got a system UI FC after installing an app via Play Store and rebooting the tablet didn't help, also turning the screen on take a several seconds and sometimes I had to make a complete reboot by pressing the power button.

Good man, we are proud of you...
Well, I have a question about the layout. When I use the PAC Rom, many of my apps are out of bound, eg the menu icon of the browser, or Titanium BK, or Gmail...etc on the upper right hand corner does not show. I tried to change to small/mid/big TabletUI but it is still the same, do you know why and how to fix it?
Other than this, the Rom is actually very usable, and the 915 revision is smoother than the older ones.

I dont think my tf700t is using the keyboard battery to recharge itself. Another thing is a hardware issue (i think) My port on the tf700t(charging port) is not charging my tablet when i use the outlet, but when i hook it up to my pc it recognizes my tablet. I hooked my dockk to the charge to see if that was the problem but it charges the dock fine. could it be a pin on my tablet that is broken?

Great battery life! Data on boot, WiFi no issues. Volume for audio is also good. Listen to Pandora on LTE for 2 hours with little effect on battery. No sync issues either. D801 maintainer did a great job! Tons of extras ...thanks again and hats off for a great intro!

You are the fukin man... Excuse my French. I'm in love with this ROM. Extremely stable dude... Just gotta let it settle and also. How come while I play music I can't hear my notifications coming in.
Ex: Music use to play but pause for like a second, when texts came. Doesn't do that now.

No it doesn't. Only stock Roms with lg ui will contain WiFi calling. You will never see it on any aosp based Roms.

Will the Multi-Window feature from the LG G Flex be in this?
I get a force close on the phone.apk with a message that says "blame it on the split window"
Tried to separate installs, didn't even get through all the settings and getting my preferred setup when a call came in. I took the call and finished. Once the screen came back on all I got was that fc. Had to roll back to my previous ROM, but seemed fast and a quick glance at the settings had all the things one could come to expect from a PAC ROM.
Will give it another go with a different gapps maybe? Need to be available for calls the next few hours

If I'm already on 4.4.2 Is there anyway to flash this yet? I believe I'm understanding correctly that there is no way to get TWRP stock Kit Kat at this point. Is there another option. There are so many different threads going around right now since the most recent update its hard to keep track of things. I loved the Pac Roms with the Galaxy S2. Alot of features and no bloat.

ROM is not booting for me. CM-boot logo and then black screen (but not off). lights from home & back-button are on.
I'm on old HBOOT (2.19) with TWRP 2.7.0.8
EDIT: with full wipe!
Hmmm. Sounds like api levels are wrong. Will fix when my parts get here.
I just tried a dirty flash and I got the PAC man logo and then the black screen issue. Pretty sure I know what the problem is.

This isnt a port. its completely compiled from source. but if you wanna try porting the one x (evita) or nexus 4 are good places to start.
Seriously looking forward to flashing this! Many thanks for bring this to our attention.
I'm currently on stock 4.3 odex released by tr1gg3r84, HBOOT 2.19 and TWRP 2.6.0.0.
Would I need to update my HBOOT and/or my RECOVERY? Was thinking of flashing your modded HBOOT 2.22 and the latest build of Philz recovery.
Also will your overclocked kernel work with this?
Also on the PAC website they have a M4 folder under downloads, is this for our phone?
Cheers!
there are official nightlies for our device as well, anyone tried?

Can't wait to try this out. Presume the OP is aware the link is not available, ATM.
Does this ROM have Halo?
If not any chance to get it?
The development on this phone is unreal... Thanks

Link was down because of Pac forum maintenance
Halo is dead per PA. You can use xposed to get it on most any Rom.

Overall it's pretty stable, having some sound issues currently. Some users can't play media, others aren't getting touch or notification sounds.

Thanks for the reply man. I ended up trying it out last night, and beyond not being able to play music, I love it. I will just have to wait around until it gets more stable.
Really like the ROM but couldn't get it to work with my USB DAC. Is there a setting I'm missing? And yes, I realize this is a non-issue for 99% of people.

I ran this Rom for a day and music playback worked fine, with Play Music and stock music player. The reason I switched back to a different Rom was because the wifi kept disconnecting every other second...if that was fixed it could be my daily driver.
