you need to flash it on your own before you flash the ROM. however if you are already on android 4.2.x there is no need to flash a kernel
but if you are running on android 4.1x or below and you want to switch to 4.2, you need to flash a custom kernel for your device.
search for Xtreme Rejoice kernel on Google and flash it through CWM or TwRP recovery

The "best" ROM will be different for different people. For example, I put a heavy emphasis on long battery life, whereas some one else may not care so much as long as their gaming experience is top notch. Try a bunch out for yourself and decide. It is pretty easy to flash a new test ROM and if you remember to make a nandroid back up then it is easy to flash back to your favorite....

My friend tried experia c ROM and even CWM recovery is not coming now. That's why
In my case I put up a ROM of a wrong phone and the phone was in continuous restarting loop. Had to give service center
Is there a way to know whether a ROM is compatible without risking all this ?

I think dex, will you please take screen shots of ROMs on these phone (settings/about phone/"screen shot" ) same like u did in your first ROM.
I think these is the solution for which ROM works on it.
Dex please I appreciate your hard work for all ROMs but screen shots will make it hit..!!

batter backup is good in v3 rom
the battery backup is good in v3 and the sound also increased and only bug present in this version is status bar bug

No bug..i just found d battery backup not as good as v1..it just gets drowning too fast after touching 50%

Serious battery issues
I'm facing very serious battery issues, just wanna confirm if it's my phone's defect.
I get max 3H screen on time, 2.30H on average.
I have to charge the phone for 3-4 times a day with moderate/high usage.
is it the case with everyone ?

Have u applied any tweaks or SCRIPTS ? It may be due to uncompatible script.

turn the brightness low and use compatible init.d scripts for battery tweaks use deep sleep battery saver

The back Key Problem can be solved in this manner-
Connect your phone to adb
say you want to install zip then clear cache
then first install zip.
type adb deboot recovery in adb
then clear cache

I dont think i need to mod FB app cause it will be waste of time as FB apk took a lot internal space,we can make it smoother but still it will take the same internal memory
