This mode made by birgertime,all CREDITS go to him,i just ported
HERE THE ORG THRED
Installing
You can install the EDT Tweaks app or you can push it to /system/app
You must push SystemUI.apk to /system/app
Bugs - any modifications to the icons will take a minute to update (signal bar toggle & battery icon toggle, just unplug/replug to toggle it, or it will show when percent goes down)

The other apk is to tweak status bar. It is not necessary.

Can anyone upload original file "SystemUI.apk" from System/apps (2.3.4 only)
i lost top status bar after replacing SystemUI.apk with the modded SystemUI.apk of status bar hack cant afford to restore apps nw as i have just restored 200 odd apps

It does work.. I tried it my self.. Piece if advice though, back up all the files that you are going to modify just incase something goes wrong.. And in my experience if yo replace something it automatically backs up a file with an extension of .bkp i think (using root explorer)..
Edit: based on my experience you have to reboot afer doing the mod

right after i pasted the systemUI.apk to system/app using root explorer, the phone just froze. After rebooting it, the statusbar just disappear

go to priv-app and backup the original secsetting.apk
then paste this one in priv-app and set right permissions and reboot.
after reboot you will likely have 2 settings. but both will still work. :good:

Its 960 downloads of this file and I amazed that how come others follow instructions .Its clearly mention to delete .odex file not the .apk file from system and how come it didn't ask u to overrite previous systemui.apk .U messed up with systemui.apk in ur system/app folder which caused u with this error .Download Stock rom from www.samsung-updates.com and flash again just check ur download rom file don't flash corrupt file .

Use ONLY SOLID EXPLORER to replace the old systemui as other explorer is not changing permission after reboot
Only for motion rom 5.1.1 but I will try to make one for kitkat

but can u tell me this problem bro- i tried to customize the systemui.apk so i decompiled it and made the changes that i wanted to make n tried to recompile but the recompile failed even when i try to recompile without any changes to systemui.apk
