It started like a month a go wen the speaker of ma phone started acting up it gets to work and sometimes it just start to sound as if am listening to a radio channel and it even gets to affect my headphones too pls help

So my friend showed me this huge & annoying defect & I was able to replicate it. Let's see if you can too.
When connecting the phone to my car stereo through an AUX cable to play music & I get a text it'll pause the music briefly & the phone's speaker will play the notification. 9 times out of 10 the speaker also crackles or makes a pop. Doesn't seem right. Does it do it for your phone too?
has anyone or will anyone else test this out for me? please & thanks
never really noticed this...ill try n pay attention when I get off work later on tonite n ill report if I have the same problem

Well I tried to listen to any pop or sound bt I couldn't hear anything, the notification music jumps right in n when done the music player continues to play..
Also, everything on mine plays on the car speakers continuously, nothing from the fone speaker.
So ur sound will switch from the car speakers to the fone speaker without u even unplugging it? Then that's just weird
also @xnifex, are you using the standard notifications or did u set ur own sound/song for the text notification

Was listening to music via power amp and headphones while IMing and noticed the music being interrupted with the notification sound. The I just turned on silent mode and the problem was fixed

I've not noticed this with the Sensation, but I did notice it on my G2.

Correct, the music coming out of my car's speakers pauses & the phone's speaker phone will play the notification. Using the HTC Subtle sound for texts
Just rung my voicemail it dials and speaker comes on ? I have to press speaker button to put it through the ear piece any ideas how to stop this ? It's very annoying
Only thing I've installed re calls is vlingo

I've the same issue on my Dsr HD! I would say it came few days after gingerbread update
Happened to me when the phone was new.
Just had to plug and un-plug the charger and it stopped
I Just bought a htc sensation, and my headphones dont work proper, they are from a sony phone, and i have to hold down the headset button to let the sound sound good. I fixed it with some tape, but it goes loose all the time, so are there any other ways of fixing it??

Try another headphones, so you will know, if it's headphone or phone problem. As for headphones, replacing a jack is a good starter. I don't know what to do, if it's a phone problem though...full wipe and install a ROM I guess
I'm using my headset now, that works cuause that one doesnt have a headset button for callen. The other one does, guess i'll have to stick with this one :3

I had the same issue until I bought official HTC headphones which had some music skipping issue and it how the microphone was built would bug the f out of me now I have to use those white icraps headphones.

Hi I'm on ics rooted soff. Running ARHD with beats audio. I'm pretty sure that my vibration was working after the flash but now it doesn't work at all. I got a vibrator app ;p and nothing happens. Please help

Did the phone fall down recently? I had this issue for some time after my phone fell down. Another fall and it got fixed

Don't know if this will help..
But in CM10 I turned off Profiles, and the phone refused to vibrate unless I set it to only vibrate....
So I setup the default profile with overriding notifications to always vibrate, and it solved my problem.
Hello, yesterday i wanted to make a small speaker for my phone, so i connected the phone to the speaker trough a jack and blah blah.. then it was not so loud so i tried to add 9V ac to the speaker.. big mistake, my phone turned off, i turned it on right away and even when i disconnect my headphones they still show like they are in. No youtube sound, no music and no sound when someone calls me. What could i do? Please help me..

Seems like you might have blown off the sound amp section of your phone, by injecting that 9V ac power
A trip to the LG Service Center for you I guess !!!
But the speaker works! When i press volume + the speaker produces that sound of volume, the speaker works well but the phone sends the audio to the wrong place, any ideas without having to go to the LG servis? Im a bit poor this time..

Try opening the phone n check for any damage/burn part. Or try speaker cleaner app from gplay

But the phone speaker works! It isnt broken or something, i just need to find a way to disconnect headphones, because they show they are always connected, even if they arent. The speaker is working because when i press vol + and vol - it produces a sound. Is there an app to disconnect manually the headphones!

If you have any pair of headphones plug them into jack and reboot the phone and unplug them at lg logo
Maybe will deactivate the headphones profile for me this method worked on icysnap v1.1 (I had a similar bug with headphones)

Hi! I got a similar problem thanx yours, my headphones also shows that are connected all the time, and I think it's software related because whan I flash a PAC-man rom te sound of the headphones hears in the speaker. Have you tried a restore vía KDZ? Maybe that fix the problem (I can't tried yet because of lack ofrece time)

It's look like that app aren't compatible with the p500 but there are some similar apps, for example I installed one called "toggle headset 2" and it works!!!
