I have seen the Landvo L800 (MTK6582) and it is sold as the cheapest quad core ever. So is it any good do you think? it is not for me, but for my little son.
Has somebody in here bought this phone? An will someone be so kind to make an review?

maybe you have to wait a little longer because it is a new phone. later some users will edit the rom and post here.

i`m waiting for this phone, got this one from coolicool for 56,50 euro. I hope its here in a short time :silly:
I've received this phone today and must say that I'm impressed for a phone that costs almost nothing.
I've also attached a CWM recovery if someone wants to use it.
I've used MTKdroidTools for this and works perfectly on my L800.
You can use MobileUncle (from playstore) to flash this recovery

Ofcourse.
You have to copy the img file to the root of your phone.
When you have downloaded MobileUncle to your phone from the playstore, you have an option to update recovery.
Click that and then you can select the img file you just copied.
Press yes when asked.
After that a question will pop up to reboot into recovery to test, you can press yes to test the just flashed recovery.

Forget about custom Rom! Just Install Xposed framework and then install gravity box module (look for it in xda forum)... You will have all options you would find in any custom rom, and much more!

Don't mess with the PIT files, there is currently no way to get those extra gigs yet. You'll just fail flashing, worse get bricked.

Tested this yesterday and indeed the new 4.3 system dump is blazing fast! I came from CM10.1 and it really felt way faster.

Hi, I didn´t try it, but seems (by post linked) that someone tried and runs... I wrote "maybe", but I´m pretty sure that one of these PIT files will allow repartition to GT-i9505G table.
This afternoon will try this MG8 on my S4 bootloader unlocked (crossfingers...)

The day has come ? comeon, he didn't say he flashed the bootloader, modem and pit file. The rom in that topic is so old already and is odin flashable
First off, we have root. I'll post the method soon. Its using the third exploit in the cydia impactor.
Secondly, its kinda pointless until we can get the bootloader unlocked. This phone is locked tight.

We seem to have similiar taste....
I am very thankful, because I need my Vivo to play drum loops and use AirPlay on my iMac, which is linked to an amplification system (I am a Sax player).
This is working fine now using AirAudio on the Vivo (needs root).
One thing about the chinese root manager: I cannot get rid of it. I installed SuperSU and tried "Update", but it does not work even if I restart the device.
Any suggestions?

playstore works like a charm just need to install playstore apk after root
also install morelocale 2 for french language
all app work in french but the phone menu is still in english
use titanium backup to unintall all chineese stuff

I am interested in rooting my Indian version of the G Pro 2 but I have a question. Using this tool, If I root my phone, will LG ever come to know that the phone has been rooted. Like in Samsung, you get yellow triangle and also your boot loader will increase count by 1 eery time you install a custom recovery or rom, does LG G Pro 2 also have something similar.
I am asking this is because if in future I need to claim warranty on my phone, I should be able to go back to stock with no sign of the phone being rooted ever.
Kindly help.
Look through the development forums for lg g pro 2. You'll find way to install stock giles and unroot the phone...should help uou the warranty situation.

This is usual if you didn't reboot after using towelroot. Like its written there reboot and try again .

Yes, it should work. I bought the D838 in HK but Taiwan stock. firmware 10e
Running this on my d838 gives me a device unsupported error and nothing happens I'm running 10b but the update only came through yesterday so I'm guessing that has something to do with it

Can not you call while using link to help, but I do not understand, you have root and cwm, why did not previously made a backup !? That's the first thing exists. Get yourself the original Rome and FLASHE it. Then cwm, root and backup. Then you can change.
Could that be.

Are you sure it is the right and Rome? If so, then search times the Huawei unpacker. In order to unpack the file. Then booten.img, recovery.img and system.img flash individually.
Fastboot Flash If the command, you should know though.

seems very tempting. has anyone tried it? does it really remove the recovery? if so that means if I dont like it then no coming back after flashing as I havent seen a kdz file for my f350s...

Could you upload some pictures? and what's the performance like better then stock 10f? I might give this ago on my D838.

Yep sorry was being lazy I've had a look and overall it does look pretty nice I think I will make this my first rom on this phone goodbye stock!!
