Hello
I have a XT920 with root and this night I received an update for my XT920. After update my phone becames in loop while booting. I found a lot of threads about this problem because the phone was rooted. And to solve this problem the solution was flash another rom to the phone. I started the procedure below:
Fastboot flash boot boot-sign.img
Fastboot flash system system-sign.img
Fastboot flash recovery recovery-sign.img
Fastboot flash flex flex.img
When I executed the second command, I noticed that the first activity was erasing the partition. I wait about 20 minutes in this activity, but it doesn't finish. So I disconect the phone from the USB cable.
Now when I enter in the boot menu, no action works and the phone reboot. So I can't enter in recovery mode, fastboot mode and can't do a factory reset on the phone. All other the procedures (with fastboot, RSD NetConnected, RSD Lite) that I find in the forum needs the fastboot mode to recover thhe phone and flash the ROM again.
There is another way to save my phone? Can somebody help me?
Tks!
ps: sorry for my poor english.

Hey All,
My Dad's Xoom died over the weekend - 13months after purchase so is not covered by the warranty. He was browsing a site, it came up with a "Internet is not responding - do you want to continue to wait" message and he clicked Wait - after a second the tablet knocked off. It will not come on by pressing Power and only turns on by pressing Power and Vol +
It gets past the Motorolo logo screen and the device starts the boot animation, about 20 seconds into this it freezes and reboots - this continues in a loop. It's been GEDified and was running the last OTA update 4.1.2 - no root etc.
I can get into the stock recovery and performed a factory reset - but the same thing happens. I've also tried Update From USB with an OTG cable but the screen just shows Choose a package to install and under it has /sdcard but nothing else. I have a dummy zip on both the Flash disk and SD card so it's not reading either.
I've also tried to perform update via ADB - when I select it and connect to a PC (Win 7 32bit) it tries to install drivers but I see In Computer Management that it shows under Unknown. ADB Devices returns List of devices message but nothing under it.
I've also selected the fastboot command at boot, tried fastboot devices and the command does see the Xoom.
So my questions
1) Anyone seen anything like this issue before and know how to fix it?
2) Is it best to try to reinstall the ROM? If so, how do you suggest I can see it with ADB?
3) As I have Fastboot command, could I try to install CWM and see if that sees a ZIP on the sdcard - so I can install a new ROM.
Any help much appreciated :good:
so...I've just done a fastboot oem unlock
and then tried to flash the CWM recovery using the fastboot commands - no errors, press reboot and go into Recovery but still getting Android system recovery 3e :crying:

So just to add to this, I found the stock recovery.img, boot.img, userdata.img and system.img and used the fastboot commands to send all to the motorola - all succeeded without error....still the same problem though.
I installed RSD lite and tried a few SBF files but I'm getting an INI error - off to google possible solutions to that now
The other day my WiFi Xoom stopped getting past the "Motorola Dual Core" screen.
I have removed the SD card.
Android recovery mode gives me the error android with the "!"
It does this plugged in or on battery.
Not rooted.
What else should I try?

Hadn't really done anything. Just normal use. No out of the ordinary installs. Turned it off. Next day I tried turning it on and it won't boot.
Did you ever resolve this ?? I was give one to repair for a child and it too is stuck on the red boot screen. The good thing is the person who sold it to them was a hacker and put TWRP on it of all things. I was floored when I tried to enter recovery and found teamwin.
but the problem is its still stuck on the boot screen, i did flash it 3-4 times with M604 M602 flashes and some other customs but nothing works, it completes flashing and wiping caches but always goes back to stuck on boot screen..
perhaps I have to unclock the bootloader or something for the flash to be succesfull ?
Just wanted to say I fixed it with these commands and firmware if anyone is interested. I tried everything else including flashing with twrp and wiping all caches and it didn't work, getting the stock firmware and doing it like this worked to clear boot screen endless stuck
download fastboot and adb and xoom drivers 6.4 (about 5mb) and the appropriate stock firmware. for me it was ZM604
at the command type
adb reboot bootloader
you may need to unplug and replug cable after it goes in fastboot mode.
fastboot devices
.. should return something "02a439cj0skjdke fastboot" to proceed.
fastboot oem unlock
.. look at your tablet and follow the instructions, for me it was down twice and up once to accept unlock conditions, then it reboots
on reboot press vol down 2 seconds after you see moto logo, it will enter fastboot
fastboot flash boot boot.img
fastboot flash system system.img
fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
fastboot flash userdata userdata.img
fastboot erase cache
fastboot erase userdata
fastboot reboot
no need to relock after, you will see android logo and first boot pop up after 2-3 mins
hey , i just installed wrong rom in my moto G , i suppose to install xt1032 but i installed xt1033 and now my phone isn't booting , it's constantly showing me android logo for very long time. Hi,
Power down your phone and power up by pressing power and volume down buttons, you'll enter bootloader mode.
Connect the phone to your computer and flash again recovery with fastboot commands...
Let us know
You may need to use the following fastboot command:
fastboot erase userdata
Note: Internal storage will be wiped; photos, music etc get erased.
Hello,
as the title says... I bricked my phone. In the past, I successfully installed LineageOS on my old Galaxy S3. I got a used Huawei P9 Lite recently and wanted to install a custom ROM. Here's what happened:
1. Unlocked the phone
2. Accessed Fastboot mode
3. Installed TWRP* via fastboot flash recovery file.img
4. This didn't work and I read on the web, I could try to flash revocery2 with fastboot flash recovery2 file.img
5. This didn't help either, so I decided to cancel my plan and use the manufactorer's system since the system still booted (of course, I didn't install any custom OS).
6. The phone told me on each startup it's unlocked. I didn't need the unlock anymore, so I accessed the Fastboot mode again.
7. I re-locked the system by using fastboot oem relock password.
8. The phone asked me to do confirm this action and do a factory reset
9. After this, I'm stuck at the Huawei logo and can't access Fastboot mode anymore!
When I shut down the phone, it immediately restarts itself. No chance to get into Fastboot mode again, which I did through pressing Vol- and plugging in an USB cable.
*I tried several versions, 3.0.1 and 3.2.1 since no version worked
This may be a beginner's fault, my last phone was already unlocked and I had not a single problem back then. But this time... I hope you can help me.
What would happen if I let drain the battery down to 0% - the phone wouldn't restart of course. If I press Vol- and plug it in, would I come back to Fastboot mode or would it stay in this loop?
Any help is appreciated!
My note 6 pro suddenly started doing boot loop. I tried to revive it by flashing stock firmware but nothing seems to help. It has unlocked bootloader, with TWRP installed. This is what I tried:
Put phone in fastboot mode, I do see the fastboot image.
Computer recognizes the phone. 'fastboot devices' shows correct device.
Using MI Flash tool to flash 10.3.6 global fastboot image. It takes about 160 seconds to flash all the partitions. The phone will reboot at the the end of the flash. Flash tool doesn't say "successful" though. Its status is still "flashing".
No other errors. When the phone restarts, it is still stuck in the boot loop. Interesting thing is, if I press volume + button and power button, I see TWRP flash for a quick second on the screen then boot again. Looks like the recovery image wasn't flashed properly.
Looked at the logs. Nothing strange. Also tried to run 'flash-all.bat' in a command line (not sure if we are supposed to do that), but all the fastboot flash commands look OK.
Anything else I can do to revive this phone?
