[Q] Holo - Droid Ultra Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I'm using GravityBox for KitKat on my Maxx and I noticed I can't change the holo menu background... Is it no longer changeable? Did Motorola do something? I also tried applying a CM transparency theme that replaces holo with your wallpaper and everything's still black. If anyone has the same issue, please join in! Any help is appreciated.

REQUEST: Wallpaper based on HOLO theme

Just wondering if someone could help me out with something that I think may would like to have. My idea is to have my wallpaper be the same as the "background" of the holo (stock ICS) theme, the one where it's dark at the top and fades a bit brighter at the bottom of the screen. (You can see what I'm talking about if you're using any AOSP theme rom and go to the settings page). I'm having no luck finding the image of that background, can anyone please help? Anyone else like this idea? Many thumbs up and thanks in advance!
this one is quite close to the actual one from AOSP, but not exact: http://mirror.yongbok.net/linux/and.../drawable-nodpi/background_dial_holo_dark.png

[Q] Themes not really changing anything?

Hey folks, so I'm running the AOKP JB milestone on my HOX and I've been noodling around with themes, finding that changes aren't coming through... In fact, when I first downloaded a theme, it somehow temporarily switched my wallpaper to the default Sense wallpaper (for which there was no image file of on my phone) Anyway I don't really get any changes besides statusbar color changes and toggle changes when I switch wallpapers... anyone have any idea why?
I'm running black and cyan (found in themes and apps section) and it works great and looks awesome. Some themes don't change much just look at what it is suppose to change. Try uber jelly in the market to see if your icons change. You are choosing a theme under settings> theme chooser right?
Also once installed and applied, reboot.

[Q] Get Holo Blue on Rom

Is it possible to change the default white in KitKat to holo blue? Is there a rom for this?
(Holo blue meaning in status bar, notification panel, settings, when selecting an option etc.)
I used GravityBox to change my status bar icons to holo blue. Everything else is still white but it helps.
Sent from my Moto X
You have to go through the Android Development/Original Development pages to see which ROMs offer this and what features you are looking for (other then Holo Blue). There is no one ROM better tehn another, just preference for individuals. Other than ROM flash, no idea yet on how change unless you edit each file associated with the color.
Root+Xposed+HKTheme Manager+CM11 Holo theme+Holofication Nation apps = complete holo theme.
Or you can use something with the CM theme engine.

Turning an icon pack into a CM11 theme.apk?

Could anyone help me make a theme apk that works with the CM11 theme engine out of an icon pack? This is for personal use ONLY and I was wondering how I would go about doing so because I want to have the Google Experience Launcher themed, WITH ART (so no Unicon because it uses Xposed). Thanks!
Anyone?

[Q] Can someone help me with a theme problem on my N5?

I have pacrom 4.4 kitkat on my N5 and I have always used the theme engine, and it worked flawlessly with jellybean. Ever since kitkat I've been trying to get rid of the white theme (can't stand it) and with the theme I used, it would alter the color of all my icons, my navbar buttons, and my keyboard to be the color of my theme. Now it won't change anything except a few colors here and there in certain apps. I noticed that there's check boxes for style, wallpapers, lockscreen, fonts, icons, ect. In the theme section. With the default, white holo theme, everything is checked. But with EVERY other theme I've downloaded, the only things I can check are style, and wallpapers. Everything else is greyed out. How do I enable the it so I can theme everything else?? It wont even let me un check these in the defaukt theme. This is extremely annoying.
