Check out http://whatisbloatware.com/ for a quick overview of what bloatware is and why it's used etc.
Personally, I hate it - kills battery life, keeps your phone "awake" while running in the background, gathers usage stats and "anonymous" data/analytics, uses your data connection a hell of a lot.....
I'll make a de-bloat script to remove particularly useless and intrusive apps now.....
**If anyone has anything they want to have removed (e.g. Google Play Books/Movies/Games/Newsstand, Facebook, Social Engine etc) please let me know.....

Did you download on your computer? How big is the file? It should be 1.04GB (1,120,141,657 Bytes (or very near to that size......) If it is, try renaming as M4.4.4.2.zip (no spaces) and pushing to your phone by copying from the computer to the sdcard, or use adb push M4.4.4.2.zip /sdcard
If that doesn't work, redownload it..

Bizarre..... I downloaded it again about an hour ago, only issue was that I had to add .zip at the end of the filename and choose "all files" from the "type" dropdown....
If you can hang on a while, a deodexed version with Busybox and supersu, plus unsecured kernel will be up.... working on it now!

What it is?
Upon request, this is the 15 toggle mod ported to UCLF6 SGH-I727 Official ATT ICS release ONLY. Do NOT use this anywhere else. This is a CWM flashable zip..
What else should I watch out for?
* You will lose any SystemUI changes. Start of with this as the base and build on top of it.
* This needs to be on a DEODEXED ROM. Also, a lot of STOCK ROM System APKS are needed, so my advice would be to install this on a FULL stock deodexed ROM and then start removing things..
* If you are going to use it on a odex ROM. Make sure you in clockwork mod recovery, mount /system. Use adb shell, delete /system/app/SystemUI.odex. And then reboot.
How to change the toggle order and buttons?
* Use the included QuickPanelSettings apk

First the OP clearly states that this mod is for stock, deodexed, roms. If that sentence confuses you then you should stop right there.
It is also clear that this is for the official AT&T release of ICS.
It is spelled out that this will cause you to lose other UI mods you may have made, that is why it is written that you should use this as a starting point.
So if you are STOCK, DEODEXED, and on the official AT&T ICS release you can use this by flashing it in CWM or another recovery.
If you are like me and installed the stock AT&T ICS and are NOT deodexed you can use the steps below to install it anyway. No one is responsible for any damage this does to your phone except you!
Requirements:
1) You are running the stock AT&T official ICS release and it is not deodexed.
2) You are rooted
3) You have a custom recovery installed (CWM or TWRP)
Install steps:
1) Use you favorite root explorer to rename /system/app/SystemUI.odex (yes - you could delete it, but then you would be back asking if someone had a copy of it)
2) Turn your phone off
3) boot into recovery
4) flash the zip provided in the OP.
I used the above steps and it is working fine on my stock, odexed, official AT&T ICS.
YMMV
I also want to confirm that I have flashed this mod probably about 12 times this evening alone, in the process of working on a few other things to just personalize my device and it works flawlessly. I'm going to venture to say that people are TOO caught up on not clearing their cache, dalvik, wipe system, etc... because they are so concerned about setting their device up ALL OVER AGAIN. I think that if you want to get into dev'ing or even taking the responsibility to flash a mod, let alone an entire rom, follow the directions.
Mohan_sr, thanks for your work and for sticking with the Skyrocket community. I sent you a PM earlier, no rush, but if you have time, I have a question.
Redd
Skyrocket - Embryo 4.1
i need rename /system/app/SystemUI.odex then you would be back
so if i want back is Possible ?!
and install
Guys you gonna have to bare with me if you want this to end quickly.
Translation:
You need to change the name of the file, just add .bak in the end.
In principle you don't need the file anymore but keep it there just in case.
After you changed the file name go to clockwork and install it, should work.

Just make sure your stock at&t ROM you flash or ODIN is DEODEXED... or better yet, start all over and find the rom from Mohan. Using ClockworkMod TOUCH 5.5.0.4 v4.3, I just flash his "{ROM} {STOCK} {ICS} {UCLF6} {4.0.4} - CWM5 ZIP - DeOdexed - ZipAligned - 10-JUL-2012". This is the steps I took, directly from the OP.
1) Backup, Nandroid preferred.<---Copy of my rooted Gingerbread NexusMod rom to my external SDcard
2) Download and Copy the ROM to your device. (Please make sure you check the MD5SUM, the dowload link has the correct one).
3) Copy any additional add-ons you want to your devices, internal or external sdcard.<---I used my external
4a) Boot into CWM recovery (remember that is the requirement). <---I use ClockworkMod TOUCH 5.5.0.4 v4.3
4b) In your recovery format /system (in touch recovery it is under: "mounts and storage)
4c) wipe data and cache partition <---for the heck of it, I also wiped dalvik cache...I'm just used to it
5) Flash the ROM.
6) If you want busybox and su (binaries only). This will ROOT your phone. Flash it now.
7) Installed {MOD} 15-toggle Mod - UCLF6 BASE ONLY
8) Reboot Device
Bamm..everything works! Now I will start freezing/uninstall bloatware....Thanks Mohan for making this ICS update a breeze!

NOW INTRUCTIONS--[--Unlock bootloader and root your explorer (if you haven't already) follow this link http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1415223 to root. Dont create a partition just yet.
--Download cm-7-20120807-UNOFFICIAL BUILD #4-pico.zip from mediafire link below and copy it anywhere on sdcard.
--Download gaaps from link below and copy it on sdcard
--Boot into recovery
-- (optional but recommended) go to backup and restore and select backup. This will backup your phone just as it is so that if u ever wanna revert back you can just restore from recovery. (Thanx Liverpool_fan for tip)
--Go into mounts and storage and format /system and /boot and come back and wipe data/factory reset (even if you have any custom rom installed)
--Select Install zip from sdcard-> choose zip from sdcard-> browse to where you have copied the zip file and select it
--Wait for the installation to complete and download latest kernel from link below and flash it in recovery. (format of kernal MDD so update to the latest one)
--flash gaaps to install basic google apps.
--Now select reboot and wait for your phone to boot up.
--If you want to move your dalvik cache to sdext first you will have to partition your sd card. 512mb partition is enough. Use minitoolwizard to partition your sdcard. Partition it in only ext2, ext3 or ext4 format because fat32 is not supported. You can also use recovery (advanced>partition sdcard) to partition but it will erase all data on your sdcard so back it up.
--Now dowload a2sd.zip (credit- Sakindia) and flash it through recovery. You can find a2sd.zip where the kernals are uploaded (check below)
--Reboot and go into Terminal emulator and type "a2sd cachesd" (without quotes)
--Wait for the working to finish and reboot. You have 148mb internal memory free now. :good:
--Alternatively people are saying that s2e is more stable. So download s2e from play store.
--check everything except application data. Reboot.
NOTE: Either flash a2sd or install s2e.
--Enjoy.!!
(OPTIONAL)--
--Download titanium backup and come to the app list now long press on any app and select move data to sd. It will ask you to create a directory, accept! Now select menu button while still in titanium backup and select batch. Come down to option "move app data to sd". Run it to get more internal memory but I recommend to use class 6 sdcard if you are moving app data.

But I suggest you to change the thread name, and including the following "[TUTORIAL]", because poeple will think that is the main thread to this rom.

a nice guide to help people:good:, one thing to though is you need to say "backup your old rom with cmw 1st before installing any other" (just incase) and also to stop conflicts from other roms that have been installed you really need to format system, boot, in mounts/storage menu aswell as factory wipe..............

I know, I installed the Consumer Preview in order to try it out, problem is I was doing multiple things at the same time and accidentally installed it over Vista.
I was too lazy to reinstall Vista back so I just decided to wait for the final version to be released as the preview works just fine for everything I do with my laptop... Well until now anyway, ha.

Lol..
(I would use jaggy's tutorial to ask but since it hasn't been active for ten days I thought I'd be better to ask here instead of bumping the other thread, if I'm wrong I apologize)
So yeah, I'm still at the rooting process and it seems I'm definitely out of luck on this one.
So first off, I apparently managed to unlock the bootloader (and it IS unlocked, when I'm in bootloader mode I do have the "*** unlocked ***" on top of the screen) and at the same time keeping my apps, settings, etc...This was the first flag that something was wrong.
Adding the Recovery seems to have worked out fine, however when I tried to install the Superuser.zip I got the apparently not-so-uncommon "(Status 0) Installation aborted" message. I did some research and tried the method of removing the extra "updater-script~" from the archive but it did not work. Tried the method of doing a nandroid backup and then installing Superuser but no luck either.
I'm getting seriously hopeless, any idea on what I might have done wrong and how to get Superuser working?
Which recovery did you install, I was having some problems flashing anything with non-yannou's (I know i wrote it stupid but, you've got the idea )
Anyway, give a try to flash some rom, not sure if it will work without superuser installed, but nothing worse can happen (I think)

I installed the Recovery given by jaggy's tutorial. But Recovery isn't the problem as far as I know, since I've the option to install .zip file when in Recovery mode. My only issue comes from the fact that the Superuser file won't install itself.

Thank you great job......
Well....
If you can get it downloaded without Ilivid wanting to infest your system....
Gave up after 10 minutes and having popups for various dating sites, these file hosting services are getting unusable.
maybe the internet just hates me this morning.
edit:
try the bayfiles option, eventually after fending off ilivid, 2 more popups for poker888 and someone alive called jasmine the download appeared, it sad an estimated time of 3 hours but chrome says 6..... as i type it now says 10....
if it gets here i'll skydrive it
looking forward to trying it as i like stock roms and a stripped one has got to be better with unused bloat removed.
haha...14hrs now....
now have turbo bit version going, a respectable 2hrs on that one.....
None of my moans are at the rom, just the sorry damn state of file-sharing these days

Via cwm. Leave it as .zip and go to cwm and choose flash zio from sd card and select it. At the end i wiped data to change csc but i feel is really not necesary.
1-wipe data/factory reset from cwm
2-wipe cache
3-wipe dalvik
4- go to mounts and storage
5- select wipe system
6- flash zip reboot and enjoy.
This is a really wonderfull rom to be honest! Donation as soon as i can
Nice to have it a clean rom. Im pretty tired to delete everything manually all the time.
Any way please don't forget to add back apk witch is responding for Quick Glance (in motion selection)
Regards !
Tested. Battery life is better. Flashed rom at 2am, left it just like that with wifi on and it is 8am now. 10% drain. Better than official firmware.

No offence and no disrespect towards your efforts but the first thing anyone would be interested in knowing is what all has been done to the stock ROM. I definitely want to try this out but without proper information (and enough feedback), I won't try.
And I believe there are people like me who are just waiting to get more details before jumping the gun.
Can i use this on the AAJL3 ? and is this 4.1.1 or 4.1.2(Latest) I hope i can flash this i miss stock..a bit.
This Rom is based off of the newest HTC Flagship device the HTC One (M7) and ported to our device by me... the rom is IMO 99% Functional with only very minor bugs... anyways i hope you enjoy it if you do hit the thanks button or donate if you wish.... There is a FAQ section in the second post please read through them before asking questions to avoid asking already answered questions... Have Fun!!!!!!

Hi mate
Install HTC Sync Manager - available from HTC website.
I have Windows 8 64bit and all working for me. Using newtoroot X920d ROM (from Droid DNA thread) and see both internal and external SD storage on my phone.
Good luck

So for us X920d users, just flash the ROM and then do we need to flash any of the update files?

Hello
I installed newtoroot's ROM http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2184706
In bootloader first did fastboot erase cache then fastboot flash boot boot.img taken from the ROM and last fastboot erase cache.
In TWRP Recovery I wipe cache, davlick and system and factory reset.
Then I flash the ROM - it takes a while to reboot phone so be patient. I didn't flash any update files. They are for different versions of the phone such as DNA Global and USA I think.
For more info and support refer to newtoroot's thread as I cannot take any credit for it.
Cheers

1. Download the rom and copy to your phone (you've probably done this)
2. Download fastboot tools if you don't have them here
3. Extract the adb folder in the fastboot zip to somewhere (E.g. C:\adb)
4. Open the rom zip and extract the boot.img file to the adb folder
5. Connect your phone to your pc
6. Hold shift and right-click somewhere in the adb folder, select "Open command window here"
7. Restart your phone to bootloader, then select fastboot.
8. Type "adb devices" (don't type the " " for this or the others)
9. It should show your phone's serial number, if not download HTC Sync Manager and install
10. Type "fastboot erase cache"
11. Type "fastboot flash boot boot.img"
12. Type "fastboot erase cache" again
13. Type "fastboot reboot recovery" to get to CWM or TWRP, whichever you have installed
14. Backup your system, data, and cache
15. Factory reset, wipe cache, wipe dalvik cache, format system
16. Install the rom.
17. Reboot and leave it for 10 mins, it will stay on the HTC ONE screen for a while for the first boot
18. ???
19. Profit
Thanks you. Looks like I need a to get an SD card? I don't have SD cards anymore. lol.
I think internal storage is fine, not sure though since I use my sd card for large files like this
I'm confused about this: fastboot flash boot boot.img
Is the boot.img included in the NOS_M7_v1.0.0_X920D_signed.zip for CWM? Whenever I flash that boot.img I still get the stock recovery. I tried flashing cwm using fastboot flash recovery command and it worked, but can't mount SD card.
EDIT: Looks like I finally got it to work. I flashed boot.img from the ROM zip and downloaded CWM from their website and flashed the ZIP. I get a lot of errors on CWM though, can't mount this and that. I was also not able to wipe system etc.
EDIT 2: Does it really have that red warning text on the boot logo?

Yep, as far as I know you can't get rid of it as of yet. I guess when we get S-Off for the x920d and e then we can get rid of it, but as of now it stays there.
One more question (pardon me, really), are the stock Sense 5 wallpapers really not included in the NOS M7 ROM?

They should be, are you sure you installed it right? Since you're also getting errors on cwm. Check the wallpapers, if #4 is a grey leaf with water droplets on it, and #12 is a cityscapy looking thing

No wallpapers at all. I assume since CWM wasn't able to mount system, data, etc. partitions, the ROM wasn't able to extract the files? I'm thinking of flashing stock RUU again, then install CWM (should I go touch or regular one?), then flash boot.img from rom zip and flash it again? It also did not run the setup wizard after the flashing. I'm HTCDev unlocked. S-on.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
Know why you should "even" think of using the odexed version.
WHAT IS AN ODEX FILE?
In Android file system, applications come in packages with the extension .apk. These application packages, or APKs contain certain .odex files whose supposed function is to save space. These ‘odex’ files are actually collections of parts of an application that are optimized before booting. Doing so speeds up the boot process, as it preloads part of an application. On the other hand, it also makes hacking those applications difficult because a part of the coding has already been extracted to another location before execution.
THEN COMES DEODEX
Deodexing is basically repackaging of these APKs in a certain way, such that they are reassembled into classes.dex files. By doing that, all pieces of an application package are put together back in one place, thus eliminating the worry of a modified APK conflicting with some separate odexed parts.
In summary, Deodexed ROMs (or APKs) have all their application packages put back together in one place, allowing for easy modification such as theming. Since no pieces of code are coming from any external location, custom ROMs or APKs are always deodexed to ensure integrity.
HOW THIS WORKS
For the more geeky amongst us, Android OS uses a Java-based virtual machine for running applications, called the Dalvik Virtual Machine. A deodexed, or .dex file contains the cache used by this virtual machine (referred to as Dalvik-cache) for a program, and it is stored inside the APK. An .odex file, on the other hand, is an optimized version of this same .dex file that is stored next to the APK as opposed to inside it. Android applies this technique by default to all the system applications.
Now, when an Android-based system is booting, the davlik cache for the Davlik VM is built using these .odex files, allowing the OS to learn in advance what applications will be loaded, and thus speeds up the booting process.
By deodexing these APKs, a developer actually puts the .odex files back inside their respective APK packages. Since all code is now contained within the APK itself, it becomes possible to modify any application package without conflicting with the operating system’s execution environment.
ADVANTAGES & DISADVANTAGES
The advantage of deodexing is in modification possibilities. This is most widely used in custom ROMs and themes. A developer building a custom ROM would almost always choose to deodex the ROM package first, since that would not only allow him to modify various APKs, but also leave room for post-install theming.
On the other hand, since the .odex files were supposed to quickly build the dalvik cache, removing them would mean longer initial boot times. However, this is true only for the first ever boot after deodexing, since the cache would still get built over time as applications are used. Longer boot times may only be seen again if the dalvik cache is wiped for some reason.
For a casual user, the main implication is in theming possibilities. Themes for android come in APKs too, and if you want to modify any of those, you should always choose a dedoexed custom ROM.

At last.Deodexed version is up!
Please upload it Asap
No longer switching to old Stock ROM's because of GNU Kernel, Hells Fusion Kernel, etc. not working!
NOTE: The problem why DDMD1 was not so commonly used is that if you flash a custom kernel other than the one provided with this, then you can't call anyone and IMEI is not displayed.... That is due to some changes in new libs and it is now fixed by flashing the lib provided in OP.
NOTE: To fix all Call & IMEI Problem, you need to flash the above (posted in OP) fix!
NOTE: According to some reports, that although network problems are fixed with above patch, IMEI does not appear with custom kernels. This error should not have occurred if you have followed EXACT instructions as in OP.

If I could, I would've downloaded the entire package.

Can I ask you a question?
What would you do with the RamDisk?
The ODIN firmware(zip)package you've provided contains only one .tar.md5 file, but not separated PDA/MODEM/CSC files we've seen in earlier packages(DDLA2,DDLC2,DDLK2, and so on) and this cannot be flashed via ODIN. Even after checking a guide on XDA on how to use ODIN( I know how to use ODIN but I was confused when I found this only one file) and it fails to flash via ODIN. Later I flashed DDMD1 using this one. Please check the firmware package you've provided.

Then how did I flash it?
Bro, that 1 .tar.md5 is to be put in PDA section and then start flashing.
You'll be suprised when it works!
You are right, but that was believed some time back
Like for example when you download ODIN flashable kernel .tar, do you get all the three tar's: PDA/CSC/MODEM ?

Doesn't work
EDIT: Anyways I don't want to bother you with my problems( latest one: can't flash any custom kernels; might be due to new ramdisk as mentioned by member: Nitzz). Nice work

Bro, if you want I can PM you the three PDA/CSC/MODEM .tar.md5 files by splitting this package, what say?.
