I had read on XDA somewhere that we can swap the memory and increase RAM in android phones. Can we do the same in LAVA Iris 455? The free RAM in my phone is mostly around 120 MB to 150 MB. Can I use my memory card as RAM, so that my free RAM increases?

I own a Lava 455. Please let me know how to increase ram in my mobile. Does the kernel in Lava 455 support swapping so that I can use swapper or ram expander to increase the ram. My mobile has just close 100 mb ram free at any point of time which makes it slow.

hai i have videocon a24 this mobile manufacturer is alps this mobile configuration is as well as same 4'' display 256 ram 512 rom nand flash ubifs type system Toshiba flash but actual memory is 4gb rom 2gb ram, mtk 6572 chipset. i need stock rom for this mobile and tutorial for nand flash reparation. I recently rooted my Micromax viva A72.
Now, the RAM size has reduced, from 512 MB to around 320 MB.
I am thinking of flashing stock rom in hopes of getting the original RAM sixe back. But there are 4 versions available online & i am not sure which version to flash so that i get 512 MB RAM back.
